If you are looking for a nice hotel with high standard and good location in central Myrtle Beach, I can recommend this 5 star hotel. We also stayed at this hotel last summer for a few days and will also stay there again if we are going to Myrtle Beach.

Caravelle Resort består av flere byggninger. Vi var heldige og fikk en av de som lå rett på stranden med havutsikt. Stor fin leiligehet med 3 soverom og 2 bad og ellers alle faciliteter. Rent og pent på rommene og det var rengjøring hver dag som vi var veldig fornøyd med. Kort vei til restauranter. Hotellet kan anbefales, vi kommer gjerne tilbake hit.
"Quiet location"
This hotel is located away from most of the action in Myrtle Beach, but close enough to be able to get almost anywhere in a few minutes. The location is isolated enough that you don't have noise or traffic when you want quiet. The only complaint is the full size refridgerator ice make is loud at night when the room is quiet.

"Fantastic Hotel!"
Absolutely loved this place. Right next to the beach. Spacious room with large beds, a full sized fridge, microwave, large valuables safe, patio door w/balcony & chairs + an ocean view. Nice parking garage area. Large fenced pet area on the grounds to let your friends run around. Easy beach access. Very long fishing pier nearby. Clean room and everything […] worked including the hot water. Courteous and friendly staff. Highly recommended!!! I stayed in the Palmetto Building on the 4th floor. Les mer
"Great Value in autumn/winter"
I stay in this hotel every Thanksgiving week when visiting friends in the area. Being in a great location right on the beach, Springmaid Hotel is also a terrific value at this time of year. I love the large oceanfront rooms, full size refrigerator & microwave and balcony overlooking the ocean. The only small negative during my stay was that one day […] the room was not cleaned and on another there was a huge leak coming from the room above. However, as soon as I alerted the front desk, everything was taken care of right away. I will definitely continue staying here every year. Les mer

the hotel was clean did'nt smell a nice veiw of the ocean and very close to some of the attraction we were looking for. The price was a great deal I will be back to stay there again.

My wife and I celebrated our 28th anniversary at Springmaid and had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pier was very convenient and so enjoyable to stroll on in the evening. We will definitely return again!

The stay at the hotel was great, the room is nice and comfortable. It is close to everything on Myrtle Beach. What I really liked was the price do to the fact that it was off season. When I got to the location the room was cheaper than what the internet said, which was A+ for me.

I've stayed many, many times at Springmaid Beach Resort. The location is key. It is an older hotel, but the perks of it being right on the beach and having a wonderful pier for fishing, make up for that. They have done some updates, but there is still room for improvement. One thing that I really wish they would change is the bedspreads. I don't like […] them and i wish they would change to double sheeting, or a washable duvet. The tile in the bathroom is never clean enough for me. But overall, it's a great, inexpensive place to stay. Les mer

Excellent Beach. Great fishing on the Springmaid Pier. Great food at the Marlin Restaurant on site. The 5 pools were excellent. Completely satisfied with our 3 week stay.

The kids and I really enjoyed this resort. The views were spectacular and there was plenty to do. We really enjoyed sitting on the pier and enjoying the breeze.

"Lovely Hotel"
This was my first time staying at the Springmaid resort and I loved it. You have whatever you need within distance and the beach is right there. Several pools and convient parking. Great staff and friendly neighbors. I will def staying again and will recommend to friends!

"SpringMaid Beach Resort -Great Time"
We picked Springmaid because of the pier, my husband likes to fish. It was very nice and I would recommend it to everyone. It was our 42nd anniversary and we had a great time.

Arrived at the hotel and was greeted with a big smile. All we got was SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE.... LOVE Springmaid Resort and we will certaintly go back. My son had told me that he wasn't sure about going to Myrtle beach because all the people, noise, etc..... but after the 1st day he had changed his mind and wanted me to book another stay next year. "Clean and relaxing by the beach!"
Was right on the beach with a pier and restaurant. There is not much nightlife around the hotel so if you want to go out you'll have to drive to the boardwalk. My boyfriend and I liked it for the price and convenience of being right on the water. The place looks like it was built in the 80s, but the staff was very nice and their drinks on the pier are […] good too. There were a lot of families there when I went. We had a full fridge and microwave so we were able to eat in a few times to save money. Les mer
"Very nice resort in Myrtle Beach."
This resort is very nice. It was a good value for the money. Hotel could use some updating but is very clean and comfortable and staff are very responsive. Amenities (pools, etc.) were wonderful and great for kids. Location is very picturesque. I would recommend this hotel highly and definitely stay there again.

"Good for the money"
Nice place to stay. The restaurant on site only serves breakfast till 10am so you will have to go off site to eat dinner. The walls are a bit thin so if you have rambunctious folks next to you like we did it can be a bit of a pain. And no ice maker was a pain. But the room was nice and clean and the view was great.

This place was awesome. For anyone complaining about renting the chairs and umbrells for $30...um go to one of MANY cheap beach stores that are within a mile of the place. We bought and umbrella and chair for a total of $15! Beach was VERY clean as was our room. Every balcony has a view of the ocean. Fill size fridge was a plus as we brought our meals […] with us. Hotel is at the end of the strip which is great because it is less crowded. I will stay at Springmaid every time I go!! Les mer

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and we definitely wanted to stay there again! We got the deluxe ocean view room, but they put us in the Live Oaks building which doesn't give a view good view. However, I called down to the front desk and they allowed us to switch rooms to the Palmetto building which is where we stayed 2 years ago. […] It was really convenient! The beach isn't as busy as up north so it's very nice. Damons is within walking distance, but you must drive everywhere else. Les mer

Great value overall, enjoyed my stay. Room was clean and well equipped, had everything I needed. The location is great, not wedged between other hotels which gives it a nice private resort feel while still being close to everything. Great view of the ocean, pier, and pool areas. Can easily walk to the beach and pier where you can find plenty to eat […] and buy supplies without taking your car keys along. Staff was friendly and helpful, no problems at check in. I found it a great place to relax and just enjoy the beach. Look forward to staying here again. Only problem I had was with the wireless internet, it was completely unusable. I was told it was due to lines being down after hurricane Irene the previous week, so I assume it was a temporary condition. Enjoyed the place, will be back soon. Les mer

I had read so many reviews about not selecting this hotel but it turned out better than expected. We didn't like the fact that eating places were so scattered out but we made the best of it. I read reviews before going to that hotel. They were all pretty much saying the same thing and I agree with them now. This hotel is the best bang for the buck. On the downside, it has seen better days and some equipement will need repairs in the near future. On the plus side, the location is amazing, the service was perfect and the cleaning service […] is flawless. At the price, there was no better deal to be on the beach. It was a nice, clean although a lil outdated hotel. Everyone was friendly and it's a great place. It's almost at the end of South beach which was a plus cause there was no noise from the nearby attractions. The room was a great size, nice, big and comfy. The fact that there is a fridge in your room is a big plus. And every room in this resort is ocean […] view. YOU CAN"T GO WRONG. Les mer

"Outdated"
Not a bad hotel, 2 1/2 stars is about right - don't expect much and you might be surprised. Beds and rooms were very clean. A/C was relatively new and fresh smelling so all the "basics" are here. Wouldn't stay again but if you get the right rate, hard to pass up.
