Veldig stilig hotell, tøff arkitektonisk og pene rom. Små minus på rommet er en dusj som lekker slik at man må tørke en vannpytt etterpå, samt en lite kald minibar. Altså bare bagateller. Bra rengjøring. Grei service på hotellet, men intet mer enn hva vi ba om. Noen ganger er jo det helt ålreit. Frokosten er dyr og asketisk. Varmretter må man betale tillegg for. Men den er likevel å foretrekke fremfor de elendige restaurantene og frokostmenyene på la rambla (hold dere unna all mat på la rambla). Beliggenheten er upåklagelig. Kort oppsummert et hotell som absolutt er fire stjerner verdig. Stilige rom. Anbefales.

Jeg og min mann overnattet på Alexandra hotell i forbindelse med 4 dagers miniferie til Barcelona. Hotellet hadde ypperlig plassering i forhold til både serverdigheter, shopping og restauranter. Kan anbefale restaurant Cervecería Catalana som ligger 1 minutt fra hotellet (Mallorca 236), her har de nydelig tapas! Ellers var personalet strålende, både i resepsjonen og i baren. De kan mye om byen og snakker godt engelsk. Rommet er moderne inredet og vi fikk en liten balkong der vi kunne nyte morgen solen. Dusjen er herlig, med stor "overhead" dusjhode. Eneste minus må være at sengen var litt hard. Barcelona er en fantastisk by og et opphold på Hotel Alexandra kan absolutt anbefales som et godt utgangspunkt.

Kjempefin tur med 3 venninner. Sightseeingbuss, shopping, fortauskafeer, gode måltider og avslapning på hotellets tak og basseng. Fortauskafeene utenfor hotellet er også veldig ok med hyggelig betjening.

Dette er et absolutt greit hotell, og generelt god valuta for pengene. Hotellet er moderne, og rommene enkelt, men inneholder det man trenger for å trives i noen dager, Minuset er kvaliteten på reholdet. Det generelle renholdet er dårlig både på rom og i fellesarealer. Mye slurv med mangler av såpe, glass etc. Rengjøringspersonalet begynner også å […] mase svært tidlig på morgenen om å rengjøre rommet, selv om man har låst døren og hengt ut ikke forstyrr skilt. Rent, velstelt og hyggelig hotell, like ved metrostoppet Arc de Triumph (to stopp unna placa catalunya). To dataer med internett i resepsjonen, veldig hyggelige og behjelpelige resepsjonister. Hyggelig kafé man kan spise frokost på rett rundt hjørnet er "Bracafé", ellers er det en asiatisk restaurant rett ved siden av den kaféen der man kan spise rimelig […] og god kinesisk. Les mer

vi var to jenter på 21 og 23 som dro på tur til barcelona. Vi valgte hotellet fordi det var litt rimeligere og pga. beliggenheten. Beliggenheten viste seg for oss å ikke være så bra. Helt ok, vi synes det var litt for langt unna sentrum. Det er nok et lite minus at vi måtte bruke så mye tid bare på å komme oss steder vi ville. Dette er nok et bedre […] hotell for eldre som har bedre råd til å ta taxi eller et bra hotell for de som synes det er gøy å tusle rundt for å finne steder. "Hotell i Barcelona"
Vi koste oss i Barcelona, og strøket vi bodde i var greit, men med få restauranter/ barer(gode). Hotellet trodde vi var 4#, men det var kun 3#. Derfor ble vi skuffet over et lite rom og liten dobbelseng. Renholderne var hyggelige, og renholdet ble utført "sånn passe". Et lite obs, hvis du vil sove om morgenen, blir du vekket av at renholderene smeller […] med dørene. Hotellet skulle ha basseng på taket og var en av grunnene til at valget falt på dette. Skuffelsen var stor da det viste seg å være en plaskedam på ca.15 m2 , med en dybde på kun 1,5 m. Vannet var så skittent at det ikke gikk ann å prøve det.Terassen var ellers skitten, men et bord og ødelagde stoler. Det eneste plusset var en god resepsjon, med dyktig betjening. Les mer

"Helt OK hotell i Barcelona"
Helt greit hotell. Hyggelige folk. Dyr frokost. Vi prøvde den ikke. Vi ønsket en ekstra seng den uka vi der, og det gikk smertefritt. Men spar på kvitteringen hvis dere betaler for senga på forskudd. Metro (Monumental) i nærheten. Bassenget på taket er ingenting å skryte av. Men det går fint å sole seg der for få personer om gangen.

i stayed there for four nights. the reason why i chose it was that a rewiew said it was easy to get there from the airport if traveling by ryan air. and it is, but only for those traveling from girona by bus. the other buss stops in the center. the other reason we chose it was that it had a gym. but that consisted of a bike and one machine. plus some […] 5kg dumbells. can hardly call it a gym. the aircondition in the hotel is only for show since it doesnt really cool the air off making our nights very warm and clammy. in addition the beds are very hard. service was good though and we got free bottled water every day. Confortel Auditori is located close to Triumph de Arch and in walking distance from most turist attractions. But the rooms with windows to the yard are dark and small - should be avoided

Stille og rolig med drosjene rett ved siden av. God standard på rom og gratis vannflasker i kjøleskapet. Betjeningen kunne engelsk i motsetning til de fleste spanjoler.

Wonderful hotel, with a couple of small suggestions: put mirrors in the bedrooms......and get rid of the cheapo-looking $20 masonite sink/vanities in the bathroom. No one wants to apply their makeup in the bathroom while another person is showering. Also, put some 'bumpers' on the doors of the supply rooms so they don't close with a BANG every time […] the chambermaids go in and out. (Some people actually try to grab a nap at 2 PM...especially those who flew all night to get to Barcelona from North America!) VERY friendly front desk staff. Les mer

Just spent a week at Confortel Auditori. A 3 1/2star hotel which would have been great BUT -room so hot we kept window open which resulted in too much noise to allow for sleep. promised an air conditioner (never arrived). -asked for soap, bottled water and other amenities but front desk can't help when cleaning staff off duty -breakfast at 9.99 euros […] way overpriced -2 single beds which CAN"T be separated -bathroom that needs some TLC Les mer

Although the hotel was clean, comfortable and convenient for my stay my room lacked a desk to work from. I chose the hotel for its location, free wifi and budget. there are other hotels in Barcelona which I have stayed at which are closer to the centre. If I was tourist it may not have been as central as I would have liked. I was travelling on business […] and cannot really fault the hotel. If I need to be in the same part of Barcelona again I may well select the hotel again. Les mer

I just came back from Barcelona a few days ago. I have had the most pleased time staying in confortel auditori. My husband and I spent 5 nights. Great experience. Hotel is very clean, modern, staff is super friendly, speak English. Our room has a view on the place but area is not loud, so nights were pretty quiet. Room was clean and maintenance daily […] well, always bottles of water in fridge. We did not have breakfast in hotel because a lot of markets and great bakeries around the area. Hotel located a few block, 5 min. walking from metro station arc the triomf. ( red line). I specially recommend hotel for travelers from overseas. Wi-Fi is available. If I ever go again to Barcelona, I would choose nothing but this hotel. Great, great experience. Good prices. Les mer

"Reasonable"
Reasonably well situated (5 min walk from metro Arc de triomf), Confortel Auditori is within walking distance of most of the sights we were interested in : 15 min walk from Sagrada Familia, 30 min from the beach and 30 min from La Rambla. It was easy to get to from the airport using the Aerobus and metro L1. The place was very clean and the staff was […] very helpful (and spoke excellent english). The free wifi was fast and with a strong signal. The room was very quiet, so either we didn't have neighbors of the room are well soundproofed. The neighborhood felt safe, even at midnight. There are a number of cafés and restaurants around the hotel for a good and cheaper breakfast than what the hotel offers. The hotel has a sleek modern look, but that first good impression hides a so-so quality. The cotton sheets have the lowest thread count I've seen in a hotel (my nails kept snagging them, while it never happed before). The fixtures in the bathroom are a bit crooked. We stayed here for 3 nights. Easily accessible from BCN airport by Aerobus A1 (24-hr airport bus, costs 9.30 euros return/roundtrip, valid for 9 days) to Placa Catalunya, then take the L1 metro to Arc de Triomf (2nd stop from Placa Catalunya), hotel is 5-min walk via Vilanova street; or if you prefer to walk directly from Placa Catalunya, it would take […] you 15-20 minutes walk to get to hotel (proceed to Ronda de Sant Pere toward Arc de Triomf). Hotel is at the corner of Sicilia and Ausias March. Front desk staff (Dean and Javier) were very courteous, helpful, friendly, very accommodating, speaks fluent English. Room temperature is great (easily adjustable), very clean room, bathroom (need to specify if you want shower or bath when checking in, dont think they have both in one room), no hair dryer, comfortable bed, quiet. Remember to bring 110v adapter if coming from US. Room does not come with 110v outlet, but if your cell/camera is USB compatible, you can ask the front desk to charge your electronics (that's what we did) as long as you bring your USB cable. Breakfast buffet is expensive (14 euros) if not included in your room rate. There's a bakery right across from hotel where we bought croissants and other baked goods straight out of the oven, coffee shops like Bracafe on your way to Arc de Triomf metro. Plenty of places to get breakfast. This hotel is 15 mins walk to city center Placa Catalunya where you can get transportation to most tourist attractions via hop-on hop off bus or metro, local bus, or airport bus. Even though this hotel is not right in the center, we find the metro/subway system in Barcelona very efficient, so having to walk 5 mins to a metro station (Arc de Triomf) is almost as good as being at the center of everything. Recommend to buy T10 metro tix (10-trip) if you will use the metro system often, one T10 can be used by more than 1 person and can be used in bus and/or train. Hotel was very clean and modern. Not that convenient to walk to tourist sights but the metro was about 3 blocks away. Plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby.

When we checked in our room was not cleaned after the previous customer. The rooms window was facing to the inner court which was very small, so you couldn't keep curtains open without seeing to your neighbours room.
"Great Location, great surroundings"
The hotel was close to everything we wanted to see. There were places to get cost effective snacks and coffee as well as meals. We walked to most tourist attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only disappointment was the breakfast which was aimed at people with a sweet tooth and was far to expensive. I would stay there again
"Hotel in Barcelona, Sicilia - AMAZING staff"
By the time we arrived in Barcelona we were mentally and physically exauhsted. Barcelona was our final destination on our 11 day Spain vacation. Up to this point we had no complaints about our hotel rooms in the other cities we traveled to, but the one thing that was missing was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. We really missed that. The moment […] we got to Confortel we knew we were staying somewhere different. We checked in on the eveniing of 29-09-2011. The gentelman was English, can't remember his name. He was so kind and helpful and his smile and care made us feel so at home. Once we checked into our room we discovered that the air conditioning and TV did not work. I called to the front desk and we changed rooms. No questions asked. It was the quickest room change I have ever encountered. The other gentleman that was sweet was a young man that had brown shaggy hair that came a little above his shoulders. I believe he was French. We met him the next day I believe. He too was the front desk staff. He arranged to have a cab come pick us up w/o us even asking. We were used to having to call our own cabs, and if we asked the other hotels to arrange for it we often got attitude. This was very refreshing. Lastly, the front desk staff that was our favorite was Sergio. He was equally helpful, warm and sweet. But what makes him our favorite is what happened our last night in Barcelona. We came back late from a club and I was carrying a McDonald’s coca cola in my hand. I tripped and fell down the stairs spilling it everywhere. I felt awful about it. He came out, helped me up and told us to stop apologizing and that it was really no problem. He went and got a mop to clean the floor and he also brought me another coca cola to replace the one I dropped. Top notch service, we felt like queens! We will absolutely recommend this Hotel to all our friends and family. Thank you, for everything! Les mer

"Confortel - highly recommend"
One street over from the hotel you can see the top of the Sagrada Familia. It's about 20 minute walk away. Hotel was in lovely, safe neighbourhood. Short distance from Arc de Triomphe. Where u can get metro. Hotel staff were friendly and accomodating. I will stay at this hotel next time I'm in Barcelona.

The hotel itself is fine. We didn't eat there so couldn't tell you what the food was like. Too far to walk to places from it's position tho. Pool is very small and there is no view of the city other than more rooftops.

"Putting your $ in the right place!"
Ok so it's not your high ranked 5 star hotel where you feel almost bad of not staying more time in the hotel than outside of it. But it's the most convenient you can get especially if your purpose of your trip is visiting and being out more than in your hotel. The room has all you need (confortable, clean, good shower pressure, no carpet, a fridge, […] blowdryer, free wireless...) the only thing that i have wished to have is an iron but that rarely you have in Europe but they do offer the service if you really need it. The staff is very nice and at your needs. They also gave us free water bottles in your fridge every day when your room got clean. In a perfect neighbourhood, 15-20min (walking) away to Sagrada Familia, the beach, the marina, the arc the triomphe and not noisy at all in the area. A good hotel in respect to the room. We did not have any lunch or dinner there but breakfast was abundant and a good deal if compared to the same amount if taken anywhere in town. Transport facilities around the hotel are very good and there are a couple of good eating places in the same street.

I can highly recommend this hotel, especially for those who are travelling with Ryanair bus transfer. The hotel is only one block away from the station! The room was spacious and clean, new fresh towels every day. Breakfast was not included in our reservation so we were offered breakfast for a price of 15 Euros/person! We thought it to be too pricy; […] instead we had great breakfasts at numerous cafés in the neighborhood for far less money. I can suggest a nice café close by, just turn right after you exit the hotel and continue to walk some 30 meters up the street. It is the first café on the left side of the street. Great hotel! Location was great! 3 blocks away from the metro station and 1 block away from the bus station. Took the Aero Bus (5.05 Euros) to Placa Catalunha and then a cab to the hotel (4 Euros). Once i got to the hotel (8am), my room was ready even though the check in is at 1pm. The room is a little bit small, in comparison to the American hotels, […] but very clean and comfortable. The room comes with a mini bar with water bottles. The neighborhood is very quiet. There's supermarkets and stores in the area. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Recommended! Les mer

After a long overnight train ride from Granada to Barcelona, we were thrilled that they let us check in early! The location was convenient, quick walk to Sagrada Familia, quick walk to Cataluyna Plaza and the top of the Ramblas.
