Her er det supert dersom man vil ha en badeferie og vil nyte strand og bading samt restauranter og uteliv. Perfekt for barnefamilier og venneturer. Store suiter med fult utstyrte kjøkken, stue, balkong, bra bad og stor seng. Rent og pent. Masse butikker og restauranter på området og stranda rett ved. Den beste stranda jeg har vært på!!! Vi var der i lav sesong som betyr at mye av butikkene ect var stengt men vi hadde steden neste for oss selv. Dette må være super i høysessong. Mye for pengene. Det rare var at lobbyen bare er åpen fra 8 til 8 noe som betyr at dersom man kommer etter kl 8 på kvelden er det litt pes og dersom man ønsker å sjekke ut før kl 8 om morran må det avtales. Vi også gjøre oppmerksom på at hotellet heter The Inn at Carrilion Beach.. greit å vite da det kan være litt fovirrende å finne frem.

The Calapyso was wonderful. All rooms overlook the Gulf and we were within walking distance of great shopping, restaurants and other attractions. I would highly recommend this resort!
"best new year view for fireworks and right weather"
I will recommend this place a lot...minor stains on carpet..but you cant avoid with a beach location. check your utilities free movies was a plus. will stay here again.
"Great resort"
This is our third time this year. We came during Fall break when the weather was just perfect and the beach not too crowded . The suite is nicely decorated with style and in immaculate condition (suite 1207) . We are considering to purchase a one bedroom unit w/2 baths on the upper floors.

"Sterling Resorts-Calypso / Luxury/Location/Comfort"
Our stay was 7/29-8/1/11. We had late checkin so needed to call hotel reservations select front desk and they gave us the code to the garage (across the street with skyway for access to hotel) and a temporary code for our room. Our room 2305 (1bdrm 1 1 1/4 bath) was perfect. All the comforts of home and very well decorated. Only minus item to point […] out was visibly dirty high traffic areas on the area rugs in the bedroom. There was an intial set of toiletries but you needed to ensure that you had what was needed for the term of your stay. Since this is a condo, no cleaning services were provided on a daily basis, though I'm sure you could've paid extra for this. Our view was spectacular looking out over the ocean, enjoying the breeze and listening to the waves. Who bothers with a pool when you have the ocean? the beach was welll maintained/clean and there were enough chairs with umbrellas for everyone. The location was perfect - smack in the middle of everything and within walking distance! Pier park, the pier, shopping restaurants were within blocks. You could even walk across the street to listen to live music. We will definitely stay here again! Les mer

We absolutely want to come back to this facility. So convenient to EVERYTHING we like to do! The view was indescribable! Found Hotels.com by accident! very good accident.
"convenient location"
We were impressed with our room despite it being located next to the elevators. We thought it was going to be loud but it wasn't at all. We had a great stay. The view was great from the bedroom and the living room. We stayed in a 1 BR 1 1/2 BA unit and it was perfect for just the 2 of us. It's walking distance to Pier Park so we walked there many times […] and were able to avoid traffic since we didn't have to get out in the car as much as we would if we had stayed somewhere else. We would definitely stay here again. The gym was a little sad .... only 2 treadmills, 2 ellipticals, 2 bikes, and a few weights and not a beach view so I was disappointed there since I work out daily and they have a time limit of 30 minutes per machine. "Sterling Resorts-Calypso Resort & Towers"
Our stay was wonderful except for check-out. The check-out time listed i sfor 10 am, and the lobby office is listed to open at 9 am. The problem a number of us had was that when we went to check out the office was not open and security was unable to locate the office staff. It took almost an hour to get checked-out because of this issue.

"Calypso; nice high rise condo on the Gulf"
Overall, I liked the Calypso. The staff was friendly and helpful. The condo was a roomy 2-bedroom on the 16th floor, with a fantastic ocean view. Parking in a big condo is a bit of a hike from your room, but they have a special bridge over the road, which makes it about as convenient as it can be. If you stay there, it's best to arrive before 6pm. […] After that, you have to call a number and get a code from the operator. I was unaware of this and wound up driving around, trying to find another place to stay at first. Then somebody told me how it works, so I drove back and found the number and called it. The room was large and comfortable. The bed was firm (important for me, because I've had two back surgeries). Les mer

"Calypso in Panama City Beach FL"
Upon arrival, we had excellent front desk service with our needs being met. The room was neat and had wonderful a/c; however, the room needed a few things. The carpet was extremely dirty. It was a white/beige berber and was completely black in most traffic areas. I had to wear footies b/c my feet were black with dirt. We could not sit on our balcony […] because the chairs were worn completely out all the way down to the last string. I went to the front desk to inquire/complain about this.The manager had other complaints about this unit even from the maid services. He also said they were required to clean carpets only 2 times per year. He was going to adjust the price and give us a discount for this but we have not heard anything as of yet. This was our only vacation and we had paid ALOT of money for this resort. We had been saving this past year (money has been extremely tight due to the economy). It is sad to pay this much and not be able to enjoy the view from our balcony or watch fireworks for lack of seating. Again, the manager had said there had been complaints about this very thing but he said they could not make their "owners" do anything about this. My niece rented the same type room and her room was beautiful. We both paid the same thing and the difference was night and day. Our a/c worked wonderfully. We had plenty of linens and the room was fully stocked with neccessities for kitchen, bath and washer and dryer. Upon checkout, I questioned the front desk clerk regarding this, she said she would email her manager. I have not heard anything yet. Les mer
"Calypso Panama City Beach- Horrible place to stay"
One of the worst places ever, for customer service. No A/C room was 99 degrees. No one at front desk would help us out until our last full day there when they allowed us to move to another room. Definately will not reccommend to anyone else.
"Calypso Resort in Panama - very clean & beautiful"
I would highly reccommend Calypso Resort - from check-in to check-out everything was great! Pools well maintained, beach beautiful & close to Pier Park & lots of other places. Love that each room has a balcony view of beach! Rooms sound-proof, heard no noise from other guests. The only thing was that walkways were narrow, but not a deal breaker!

"VERY NICE BUT VERY CROWDED."
THIS HOTEL IS RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET FROM PIER PARK THEREFORE WAS VERY CROWDED. ALSO THERE WAS A CHARGE ON POOL BRACLETS THAT WAS NOT TOLD UPFRONT. POOL AREA AND BEACH ALSO VERY CROWDED SO IF YOU DON'T GO OUT VERY EARLY YOU CAN'T EVEN GET A SPOT TO PUT YOUR CHAIR. VERY NICE HOTEL IF YOU DON'T MIND EXCESSIVE CROWDS.
"Perfect Location-great deal for the price"
I cannot say enough good things about our recent stay at the Waterstone Calypso Resort and Towers. The rooms far exceeded my expectations for the price that we paid. The view of the ocean was outstanding, and the staff was very friendly. The location was absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to the Pier Park that's right next to the hotel and enjoy […] all the great restaurants, bars and shops there. "Really very NICE"
WE had a wonderful time, everything was clean and the facility was readye everyday for the beach and pool, quite I was surprised at that but was a wonderful surprise. We would stay again for the price, it was very very nice!!!!!
"Great Room for the Money"
The hotel was beautiful. Great view awesome location. The only problem was the pool area. People would claim a deck chair with their towels then leave to the beach. So there was never a chair. The staff is suppose to remove towels if the notice but it was never done. Although that is rude I would stay again.
"Top floor is amazing"
We just got back from here on 7/27/09. Our stay was very good. The room was great! Clean! Appeared New! The bartender was very cool as well and we all had a great time! The only thing is they dont have blowdryers in the room so bring your own or you'll be bummin from your neighbor... like we did hahaha... But really I am kidda picky and the top floor […] was an amazing view and a great place to stay. I will stay here again. Les mer
"Great location"
We got a late start, and we weren't going to make it by the 6pm check in time that was noted on the confirmation. thought it might be a problem, but check in was quick and painless. The room was very clean. Light green carpet was showing some wear and tear, but it was clean. We had stayed there a few years ago, so we knew it being a condo, we would […] have to bring paper products, dish soap, shampoo, etc. They did have supplies for a couple of days for everything from paper towels to dishwasher detergent. Free video rental and 2 free beach chair rentals were very nice additions. The chair rental is run by different company and you have to reserve them early in the day. We were told that sometimes you can reserve for your entire stay, but that was a myth we never proved one way or another. Walking distance to the new Pier Park.(closest resort) Great shopping and some good restaurants. We ate at Margaritaville, 5 Guys burgers, and Guy Harveys (one of my favorite meals while in PCB) Calypso restaurant is right across the street. Also a good meal. And our favorite, Sharkeys, is about a 15 minute walk down the beach. The resort is right next to the county pier and public beach(which never seemed to be overcrowded and made the Calypso's beach seem a lot bigger). All in all a great trip. We stayed in the 2 bdrm w bunk room. Plenty of room. Bunks were a little short for teens, but one had his own room and the other usually slept in LR on pullout. If you drive, bring your own groceries, Winn Dixie is closest, but we weren't impressed. Prices seemed a little high. Publix or Walmart are farther but better prices and selections. Les mer

It has been 30 years since I last stayed at Panama City Beach. It was a very pleasant surprise to stay at such a nice resort. The room was excellent and the view was great from the 15th floor. "Great visit"
The hotel was in walking distance to Park Pier. We visited there often. Great places to eat. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The beach chairs were a added benefit. Our condo was wonderful. Would stay there again.

My family and i loved the Calypso. Our condo was very clean, the views were great, and it is a perfet location for anyone who loves going to Pier Park. I would definately recommend this condo to my friends and family, and look forward to staying here again.

After reading other reviews I was surprised about some of it. We had a great time, room was great, staff was great, view was fantastic, the elevators were not slow, walking distance to shopping/restaurants, always felt safe, nice amenities, guests were friendly, kids loved it and we loved it! They upgraded us to a 3 bedroom! Our toilet did not work […] one morning and they came and fixed it wbefore noon. That was our only issue. Minor compared to all the good that was there. We have actually referred a friend all ready for their upcoming vacation. Thanks for a good time! We will come back! Les mer
"Outstanding Hotel"
I have stayed st the Waterstone Calypso Resort & Towers atleast 4 times. The condo's are very clean, spacious, all gulf front with private balconies, and beautifully decorated. This resort has a gym, 2 pools, bar outside, complementary chairs with umbrella on beach, and free movie rentals. The location is great. What more can you ask for! I will continue […] to stay at the Waterstone Calypso Resort & Towers. Les mer
