Only spent one night there but althought the hotel is a little dated my room was clean and quiet and it served a purpose - a good night's sleep. Not a bad deal for the price but if you're lookin for upscale don't stay here. The continental b'fast was just ok. dien at the snow Angel Tavern - eclectic menu but the food was excellent.
Price got bumped up for each having "extra" people - booked 2 queens. not great service or ability to work with customer. breakfast was sub par.

"good for the price"
I was happy based on the rate I received. Breakfast was good, but the staff could have been a little more friendly. Close enough to highways and shops to be convenient, and far enough away to be nice and quiet.
"Condition of Hotel was Poor and Service was OK"
- None of the locks worked on our door - The pool was dirty and full of leaves - Not all of the outlets worked in our room - Breakfast was sub-standard and the oj was horrendous - Service was average -Basically this hotel has tons of potential but is in a state of disrepair. "Econolodge Killington"
For the price and location this was a great deal. We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend on a trip through Vermont. The area is beautiful, The hotel itself is shabby and old, but for the price it is a great deal. The people were friendly, although one did not appear to know how to work the reservation system when we wanted to upgrade to a slightly […] better room. Somehow we had the entirely wrong remote control for the Television, but the kid had fun in the game room. Can't comment on the pool since it wasn't open. Les mer
"Econo Lodge in Killington VT"
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay somewhere cheap and who isn't concerned with quality, only economy. There is a reason its called the Econo Lodge and not the Quality Inn.

stayed there several times in the last few months. priced well for what you get. continental breakfast could use some hard boiled eggs for protein at least. all carbs otherwise.

The employee who checked us in was as welcoming as a rusty beartrap with emphysema. Even after check in he continued to stare down my travel mates while he slowly killed himself with nicotine. Great location close to Killington Ski Area.

Hotel was was about 12 min drive to the Skyship Gondola @ Killington. The continental breakfast was what I needed to get me thru lunch - Dunkin Donuts bagels and donuts

I really didn't expect too much as this hotel was far cheaper than everything else around. I would probably stay here again just because I'm cheap. I would definitely stay somewhere else if I wasn't. The hotel service was fine and I'm pretty sure that if I would have complained they would have tried to accommodate me. That being said, the heater in […] my room wasn't functioning and I suspect that the sheets weren't washed in some time. The bedspread had several stains. "Econo Lodge Killlington, not so bad"
After reading the other reviews i was very skeptical about this place but the deal was excellent and the location seemed right so I went ahead with it. The good: The place is not "nice" but its not a dump either. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival after reading the reviews. Its pretty clean and has a nice homey vibe to it. There's a nice little […] library and reading area, a game room with pool and pingpong etc. The bad: The whole lobby area was UNBEARABLY hot. Im talking 90-95 degrees. It was awful. The breakfast room was the same way. Very uncomfortable. The location is not quite what i thought it would be, its about a 15 minute drive to the mountain (Killington). BUT its closer to Rutland which has better resturants and MUCH more reasonable prices which is a plus. Overall i was happy with my stay. Les mer
Hotel was very affordable, and as such expectations were not very high. The facility was attractive, clean and cozy, very nice for a ski trip. The toilet in the room did not function well, though, and was clogged several times. "You get what you paid for"
Motel was OK. The non-smoking room stunk like an ashtray. It cost me few extra dollars to book the non-smoking room, however, it smelled strong tabaco... The breakfast was included, but there was almost nothing except donuts, tea, crappy coffee. No cereal or oatmeal whatsoever.....

We wanted to stay in a cheap roadside motel, but the rates did not coincide with the notion of a cheap 1-2 night stay so we decided to go with this EconoLodge. We did not expect 4 star service of course, but were disappointed that the jacuzzi closes so early and also that it was out of service altogether. In our room, we got the feeling that it wasn't […] cleaned thoroughly too frequently as there were half-eaten cookies and unwrapped snacks laying in one of our dresser drawers. For one or two nights it's alright but I wouldn't recommend a longer stay. Location was a plus as it is within very close driving distance to many of the farms and cheese trails notable in Vermont. I recommend foregoing the continental breakfast for a lovely selection at the nearby Sun Top Bakery. Les mer

"Convenient but that's it..."
I had the worst experience at this hotel. It's location was close to a wedding I was attending so it was convenient and cheep. First off, the room was too hot, and we couldn't keep the windows open because there were no screens on them. Second, the people above our room were up until 3am partying. This would not have bothered me except you could not […] only hear every word they said but the floor made the worst squeaking noise I've ever heard and that alone kept me up all night. The toilets made a loud high pitch noise for a few minutes after flushed... and when you have people in other rooms partying the toilets seem to flush every minute. "Just a bed."
Great spot to crash for skiing at Killington or Pico. I would recommend bringing your own pillows and blankets. Read the expiration date on anything you get from the vending machines before eating!!
