Veldig fine rekkehus med høy kvalitet. 2 store soverom og 3 bad/toaletter. Kjedelig bespisning, men man har jo eget kjøkken. Bassenget var veldig flott, men kunne med fordel vært oppvarmet. Umulig å bade på stranden da den var dekket av utrolig mye sjøgress (kanskje 4-5 meter å vasse i tang og tare før man kommer til vannet er ganske uappetittelig.) […] dette kunne de kanskje fjernet? This resort is lovely. They have beautiful cabins in a caribbean style. We travelled as a couple and had our own house with two bedrooms, two baths, a kitchen, livingroom and two porches. They are clean, very loverly decorated, and with great appliances (fully equipped kitchens, washer/dryer, two TV's). They are clean and spacious, with a very comfortable […] bed. the location in Marathon is nice and quiet, unlike Key west iself that is more of a party place. At Marathon you can find much of what you need, there is a supermarket and several restaurants close by. we chose to eat at the hotel two of three nights, and the hotel restaurant has amazing service and very nice food. the third night we ordered in, as there are several places that delivers on the island. beautiful pool area. nice beach and great view, although you cant really swim in the sea due to a lot of seagrass. would really recommend this place for couples or familys that wants a relaxing resort. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week here!! The grounds, the atmosphere, our beautiful room, #10 was perfect, and the staff was especially accommodating and gracious!! We will certainly be back!!

The hotel was fabulous. We enjoyed our 5 days there. Centrally located in the keys and we prefer marathon vs key west......livery family friendly. The pool was awesome and the kids loved it. Having the porch and balcony was above par. Highly recommend to families or groups of friends.

Loved this hotel! The rooms were very clean and we enjoyed our stay. The only drawback was the sound of the power washing being done on the building near the main pool, which went on solid for two days that we were there. Would have been amazing to enjoy the pool without that sound. We understand that you have to keep the place clean, but perhaps schedule […] different locations on the property so people in one location don't have to hear it the whole day. But again, would definitely recommend (and have!) this hotel to friends. Les mer

This is a nice place to stay, the staff is very friendly and the grounds are very well kept. The resturant is excellent and the Tiki bar was a good place to have lunch. Both bartenders (Jeff and Lance) were very knowledgable about the area and what to do and see. The front Desk was very friendly (Summer) she even called around for a local dentist for […] us. The director(Michael) for the food visited us after our dinner asking our opinion and shared with us. We very much enjoyed our recent stay. The staff was helpful and the property is kept in pristine condition. There are porches both upstairs and down with comfortable adirondack chairs. My only very minor complaint is that the bedrooms are on the small side. Very beautiful townhouse apartments on the Gulf of Mexico. Off the beach units may be better with more privacy. Porches lack privacy, and a restaurant for breakfast is missing, so hit Publix on the way in. Otherwise, this is the best family hotel we have found in the Keys outside of Key West. Service is excellent and friendly.

I booked this hotel as I travel frequently, and much prefer 'self-catered' style breaks. The website made the resort look fabulous, and we were not disappointed. The units themselves were spacious, clean and bright and fully equipped. The whole resort is immaculate, while it is clearly family friendly, there also seems to be an expectation to keep things […] neat and tidy. We were in unit 49 which was just set back from the adult pool and beach, so ideal. Another review mentions that their balcony was right next to their neighbours, but we didn't have this problem, and while the other units are attached, we had great privacy. The pools were a great size and the beach a lot larger than the photos made it look. The only downside to the resort was that while the website says there are laundry facilities in the units, ours didn't appear to have any, and on calling reception I was told there were none on site (still a bit puzzled about this) and also the gym is a bit tired, with equipment which is not in keeping with the rest of the resort. However, overall I would highly recommend this resort, either for couples, groups of friends or families. It really is stunning and the staff are so helpful. Les mer

Easily one of the best places we have ever stayed. The grounds are beautiful. The whole atmosphere is very quiet and peaceful. It became our habit to wander down to the waterside for sunset every evening. Very convenient to have the Tiki bar and watersport rentals right on property. This hotel is the best thing going in the Keys. It is beautiful, clean, has a great restaurant, pool and its own beach. It is on the gulf side and you can see amazing sunsets every night from the private beach. It is quiet too. We had a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom condo with a full kitchen. Go to Miami first and come here to relax afterwards. Friendly folks work here, and the view is amazing. One thing you should know - you cannot smoke on the premises anywhere...some people were upset about that, but everyone else was enjoying the cleanliness.

The butterfly cafe was awesome the food was excellent, we also rented some jet ski's that were just amazing on the ocean beautiful sun rise every night, people were very friendly and a very relaxing place!!!! It was a great resort!!!

This is a beautiful resort! Our kids (4 and 8) enjoyed the beach and warm pool. The beach itself is not large, but perfect for small children. Our 2 bedroom unit had all we needed to be exremely comfortable when we were not enjoying the sunny warm weather or fishing off the lagoon (caught a barracuda). I would definately recommend.

The rooms are incredible with bedrooms on the second floor and kitchen & living room on the main level. We could see the pool and the beach from the deck off the master bedroom. Very well maintained. My 5 year old loved our stay, the pool and the beach where he chased after small craps. We picked up stone crab and shimp for dinner each night from Keys […] Fisheries. Highly recommended. Les mer

Tranquility Bay is a haven amidst chaos and is a lovely, charming place to stay. In fact, I might say that there is no other place to stay in Marathon. With that said, I would also add that the surroundings are completely manufactured and reflect in no way the surrounding vicinity of the Florida Keys. The units are packed tightly together so that, when […] everyone's porch doors were open (which they often are) we were the lucky recipients of all conversations from 2 doors down on both sides of us. All porches connect and there is little privacy unless you shut yourself inside. There were a lot of kids around, but there is an adults-only pool where I happily spent a majority of my time. The Butterfly Cafe is the only restaurant in the vicinity that we enjoyed. Marathon itself seems a bit depressed, rusty, and dated (as did Key West). We enjoyed the Crane reservation up the street. I shopped daily at the Winn Dixie and Publix up the street so I could cook dinners. The front desk has a book library if you run out of things to read. We rented the onsite kayaks, and used the in-room washer and dryer. The staff was responsive and friendly. Les mer

We were very happy with the first place we stayed at on the Keys and did not think our experience could get better....then we checked in here. The place was immaculate. The grounds were beautiful, the actual units are very similar to town homes with 2 floors, and 2 large balcony/porches. We were 20 feet away from the pool and very close to the beaches […] and Tiki bar. They offer a lot of activities onsite which unfortunately we did not get to use due to the wind. We did use both pools, the giant family pool and the "for adults only" pool, and both were very clean. The grounds were spotless and all the units looked brand new and were well kept. My family and I were very pleased with Tranquility Bay, the ammenities, and surrounding area of the Keys. The condo was in excellent shape and the surrounding grounds were in excellent shape, as well. The layout of the 3 bedroom accomodated my family of 2 adults and 4 kids very well. We only spent two days at Tranquility Bay but we will definitely stay here again when we travel to the keys. The front desk staff were helpful and informative. The housekeeping staff did a good job. The grounds and view are beautiful.

This was a first experience in the FL Keys for us. We were two retired couples looking for comfortable accommodations on the water, and Tranquility did not disappoint. Highlights were immaculate condition of the entire property and our two bedroom unit, waterfront location and friendly, attentive staff. Marathon is a bit of a drive from Key West, which […] we visited during day and evening hours, but Tranquility Bay has plenty to do on site. We kayaked, swam in the pool and enjoyed lunch at the Tiki Bar. Bartender/Waiter Lance gave us great advice on fine dining as well as local seafood. Price was reasonable, though early Feb. seemed somewhat out of season, as most places were sparsely populated. All in all, a very pleasant stay in a beatifully kept resort property. Les mer
