"Clean, comfortable, and very quiet Hotel"
Modern hotel with new furnishings and friendly staff. This is a chain hotel that is located 5 minutes out of town by car. This was not a problem for us. The Kyrid Chartres is a new hotel in an office park area, still only minutes away from the cathedral. The property is modern and very clean. The restaurant on premisis is good. An ideal stop for us on our way to catch the ferry to Ireland the next day.

Hotel kyriad near to Chartres is clean, comfortable and the staff are excellent. The rooms are clean and the bathrroms are very good (power shower great). The Kyriad in located just off the autoroute in a typical French business park andso is a good stopping off location for journeying south. It would be OK for a base for exploring Chartres but you would need to drive into town (10 minutes). The rooms are a reasonable size with a good size bathroom.All very clean. Great service, especially friendly front desk staff, bilingual and very helpful. Difficult to find the hotel even with a good map making it tough for sightseeing tourists. Clean and simple rooms, showers are a bit odd (by American standards) but perfectly serviceable. Mostly quiet, most of the clients are business travelers. "Great service, clean, well placed for motorway"
This is an ideal hotel if you are driving to the south of France as it is just south of Paris and Rouen and so breaks up the journey well from England. It is not too far from the motorway and is a very clean hotel with great service. As primarily a business hotel it offers high standards, with functional design and a good specification of facilities. The food menu is a little small but should have something for everyone. Note though that the restaurant is closed on Sundays (apart from a cold salad dish). Large carpark and good sized rooms. We used the Kyriad on our way back to Calais from the south. It was very easy to find, even without satnav: there are signs from the main N154 that take you straight there. Clearly set up for the business trade, with all that that entails: clean, modern, and convenient. It's some way out of town, so you need a car. Modern hotel, clean and new, nice green color. Convenient for people who drive (huge parking) but no close restaurants by except La Criee (a nice one for seafood).

A really excellent hotel for the money. Good service at reception and helpful staff at breakfast, which itself is very good value. The reception helped in booking a taxi to go into Chartres, as I had driven over 400 miles that day, but the cost of over 20 Euros came as a bit of a shock and there was the return as well for thesame price and the same […] taxi driver, booked by a bar in Chartres, so I'm not quite sure how many taxis they have. Apart from the loacation, my only issue was with the shower, one of the multi jet variety. It worked very well, perhaps too well, as the water found its way into the bedroom. I suspect this has happened before in other rooms, as the ground floor corridor smelt musty. Overall, though, a really good value hotel, one I would stay in again. Les mer
"Clean Convenient Cost effective"
We stayed 5 nights at the Kyriad and were well satisfied. we weren't looking for a charming B&B but a clean and well appointed place to rest after a full day of touring and taking in what Chartre has to offer. It was set apart from the town and had very good secure free parking. It also provided free wifi connection. The room was modern and exactly […] as portrayed in the pictures. The shower was space age and ours worked well in giving a sensory shower but not a lot of room to move inside. Breakfast was included in the price which made the Kyriad even better economically. Where the hotel is let down is in its restaurant. The evening meal was expensive and didn't live up to the description on the menu. We only used it once - that was enough. Service was OK and although we only spoke English we were able to get by with the staff. Again the restaurant was an exception and some French is essential to get what you want. We would stay here again, it was what we wanted, a clean and convenient place to rest up after a busy day. If I wanted atmosphere and charm I would make another choice. Les mer

Took us over an hour to find but once located we could not fault the hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, there is even a tea tray with biscuits!! Hôtel très difficile à trouver, même avec un GPS. Cadre du restaurant excessivement impersonnel. Petit déjeuner peu varié. Pourquoi la femme de ménage porte des talons très bruyants dans les couloirs tôt le matin ? Pourquoi annoncer à l'arrivée que le check out du lendemain risque d'être long alors qu'il n'en est rien ?

A notre arrivée, d'autres clients du même étage ont eu le même problème que nous : panne de clef ! donc perte de temps, même si le personnel de l'hôtel a été sympathique. Auréole autour du sol de la douche, cela ne fait pas net alors que ce n'est sans doute pas dû au nettoyage mais au matériau. Cernés par les infos télévisées à 7h lors du petit déjeuner... […] un peu affreux. On devrait pouvoir choisir si on veut être tranquilles. Donc on ne recommanderait pas forcément. Les mer

Wir nutzten das Myriad aus Zwischenstopp auf der reise aus der Bretagne nach Basel. Das Hotel liegt im Industriegebiet östlich von Chartres, damit ist es aber von der Autobahn aus ideal erreichbar (2 min ab Ausfahrt). Wir waren mit drei Kindern dort, Dreierzimmer sind tipptipp. Mit dem Auto ist man rasch im Stadtzentrum, wo es gut gelegene unterirdische […] Parkhäuser hat. Fazit: Ein perfekter, günstiger Ort für eine Pause auf einer langen Reise. Les mer

Très bon accueil et prise en charge sans problème, restauration "abondante", mais il faut revoir le balisage sur la zone et le fléchage sur route au démarrage venant d'Orléans, difficile à trouver dans une zone industrielle (les Jardins d'entreprises, plans trop sommaires), malgré le GPS et encore plus quand il y a une route barrée pour des travaux […] qui doivent durer!!! ""Ideale start""
Wij maakten met ons gezin gebruik van twee kamers. Alles verliep volgens afspraak en de behandeling was ronduit fantastisch te noemen. Klantvriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid staan hier hoog in het vaandel. Het ontbijt was keurig verzorgd en meer dan voldoende. Een ideale start van een mooie vakantie in Frankrijk. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Dans le cadre de déplacements sportifs nous avons utilisé 2 fois cet hôtel. Acceuil souriant, chambres agréables, douches multijets et petit déjeuner buffet copieux et varié. Seul bémol pas de code pour le portail électrique lorsqu'on rentre tard dans la nuit il faut descendre appeler le gardien à l'interphone et lorsqu'il pleut et qu'il fait froid […] ... Les mer
