Sengene var dårlige, kunne kjenne spiralfjærene.

Fint hotell med fin beliggenhet i sentrum, det uheldige er prisen på parkering; 25 Euro pr. døgn for parkering av motorsykkel er i overkant!

Hyggelig hotell i nærheten av Metroen. Heller ikke mer enn 20 minutter å gå ned til havnen. En godt engelsktalende resepsjonist forklarte oss hvordan vi skulle bruke metroen til de forskjellige stedene vi ønsket å oppsøke. Frokost spiste vi på en liten kafe lenger nede i gaten. Alt i alt veldig fornøyd.

This Hotel are nice and friendly and looks good, everybody i talked to tried to help me and had an nice smile and was positive, the Hotel was clean and they changed beds every day. The only thing i can complain about was was that the toilet smells and made allot of noise especially when other guests was using their toilet you cud hear the water go down. Et lyst og fint hotell ca 10 min gange fra havna, og enden av La Ramblas. Vi var to damer på tur. Fikk et litt lite dobbeltrom, med utsikt til en bakgård, men var ellers veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Kjempegod service, og skikkelig rengjøring av rommene. En liten takterasse med solsenger og en jacuzzi var kjekk å besøke på ettermiddagen, med flott utsikt […] over byen. Th hotel was easy to find, just a few hndred metres from the metroexit at Paral-lel. 2 local tapasbars were ajacent from the hotel, recommendable, good food and good prices, no tourists, just local peaople which indicate quality:-) Try Calot, spring onions roasted in charcoal, delicious and never seen it before. The hotelstaff know the name of the place, […] i don't remeber, they serve Moritz beer there, try one! The hotel room was small, not a lot of storage space, but sufficient for a weekend wardrobe. The bathroom was small, the toiletpaper was actually placed behind the toilet, there was no room next to the toilet. No hot water in the shower the first morning, so i took a shower at night for the next two days. breakfast was good, but really stiff prices, though... 15 euros for breakfast is a lot! The metro runs below the hotel, s it sounds like an avlanche or an earthquake every five minutes when the metro passes by. It stops about 0200 in he morning. i didn't mind too much, so for a weekend it was no problem unless you are a really ligt sleeper. But anyways...definitely recommendable fr a few nights for single or couples out to shop, drink, eat an d be merry! I aslo recommend a fish restaurant on Paral-lel 184 called L'amphora, the cod is amazing! takes about 10 minutes to walk from the hotel, or you can take the metro 2 stops to Placa Espania and walk "backwards toward the hotel again. Hotellet var i meget god stand, rent og ryddig. Hyggelig betjening. Hotellet ligger greit sentralt i forhold til turist gatene i byen, men hvis det er noe å utsette på så er det området rundt hotellet som er greit nok men kanskje ikke optimalt. Likevell, alt i alt er dette et godt alternativ.

Sentral beliggenhet, en liten gåtur eller en rask taxitur til shopping og LaRambla, hyggelig og serviceinnstilt personale. Fine rom. Kan anbefales!

Clean rooms in a good location. There are two jacuzzis on the hotel but both are cold so totally worthless. The gym is broken. All machines were non working. This is unacceptable for a four star hotel. I guess they will be three stars any day.

Were surprised to be treated wonderfully. And found that it is not just one place, there is a chain of Acta Hotels. What a great business... PLEASE, SEND TO THE OWNERS AND REPRESENTATIVES OUR GREETINGS AND THANKS

I just stayed 3 nights in acta millenni hotel, the overall service is good. Room is clean with wifi and the staffs there are all very helpful. The only thing is it located in a very quiet place and we are a bit worry about the safety there especially. The early morning and late night. I stayed there with my family (all adults) and one morning when we […] were having breakfast sitting outside in one of the cafe, there were 2 guys sat closed to us and kept their eyes on us. We were alert and suspect them for not being any good. Then a group of police came to them and search the all Over and told us be aware these types of people as they are thieves and they are kind of planning to rob the tourist. The location is about 5 minutes walk from La Rambla, but I recommend a hotel nearer Placa Catalunya if you not are deceded to visit anything in specific. The hotel i s small, the gym isn´t in a very good condition and the basement where the gym and yacuzzi is placed smells bad. The room we stayed in was small but clean.

Liked the location, but would definetely not rate Acta Milleni as 4 star hotel. Had continuous problems with toilet not flushing. Hair dryer started to push in smoke - was quickly replaced though as told at reception. Refills for shampoo & shower gel weren't automatic - had to ask for those after 2 days of staying from reception. And during the last […] day, our room door had been left unlocked by the cleaning/repair persons. Would not spend the extra euros to get into this 'four star' hotel again. Les mer

We took this hotel based on its many fascilities i e a sauna (was not working ), A "Spa" which turned out to be a rather cold little basin. Also a gym which did not work. How hard can it be to fix the equipment if there are only 3-4 machines? Either you take away the information about "extras" or you make it work. I booked this hotel consediring that it was a 4 stars hotel well located in Barcelona. I read the reviews and it convinced me that it was a really good deal. I was alone and booked a single room. It turned out to be one of the worst 4 stars hotel that I stayed - the room was very small, the bathtub was repaired, the shower made my bathroom all wet, […] the curtain was old and the view was to nothing. Although it is located near a metro station, I would never go back to this hotel again. Since a stayed only one night, I did not change to a different hotel. For sure, if my family was with me, I would had changed to a different hotel and prefer to loose the money that I already had paid. Les mer

As compared to other hotels and the pricing, I would definitely say that this a good value. It's in a decent area, although a little seedy. homeless and women of the night not far off, so maybe not perfect for a family, but we never felt uncomfortable in the surroundings at any time. staff was nice, although would not let us check in when we got tehre […] at 10 am, which is tough after an overnight flight. the rooms were clean and nice. bathroom nice. it is short walk from las ramblas and the waterfront. probably 1 mile to get to cruise terminal (long walk, but can be done if you are willing). Great hotel in a good location. Nothing is easy to find in Barcelona, but the hotel was fairly easy to find with a good GPS or map. Clean, comfortable and somewhat quiet (for Spain). The location is good - very close to Parrellal metro station and close to city centre The actual hotel was ok nothing great - they have just ONE iron and iron board to share for everyone at the hotel - furthermore their iron is broken at the cable - my boyfriend got an electric shock and reported it to the reception staff who did not seem to bothered […] by the matter. Nice hotel, clean, staff very helpful, but a very dodgy neighbouhood, My wife had her gold chain ripped from her neck near the hotel, and we were followed on deveral occasions, it is not unusual for guests to be robbed at the hotel front door,there are prostitutes and pimps just around the corner when we went to the police station close by to report […] the theft it was full of tourists who had been robbed, we were on edge for the rest of our stay there.we were constantly being weighed up for the next opportunity Barcelona wont be seeing us again ever, the mayor needs to clean up his city, and stop blaming eastern europeans and africans the theifs we saw were all very spanish. its not the hotels fault but it is in a bad place, we have been to barcelona before and loved it but ut has turned into a den of theives preying on tourists.i know you wont publish this review because it is the truth but i am writing it anyway. Great hotel. Cant complain about anything, besides the room being a little bit small. Free internet and access to gym and sauna. Reception was great and helpful. They even upgraded us to a suite for one night. Location was very good also.

First time to Europe, we found this hotel through hotels.com. The reviews were good, but we must have had the bad luck of getting room 201 (or 204). The room had a musty smell to it. We thought maybe it was the surrounding area, but after the 2nd day, it was obvious it was definitely in the room. I'm used to rooms in the states where you are given two […] small bars of soap, one for the sink and one for the shower. Here they only give you one bar. We had gone through the first bar of soap after the second day, we thought the housekeeper would give us a new one, but she didn't. We had to go down to ask for that and more shampoo. It's in a good location, close to public transportation and walking distance to La Rambla. Would not recommend this hotel. Les mer

Hotel was fine overall. They booked us in quickly enough but in doing so offered none of the extras that are advertised. (Think this is common - see other reviews). In fact they hardly spoke to us at all when doing this - but were quick and efficient anyway. During our stay the toilet broke and we had to lift the lid off to flush the system. This was […] pointed out to management and a token effort was made to fix it - this failed. When asked about it again they stated their maintance person was off the weekends and so it could not be fixed to monday! A room chnage was only offered on the last day of our stay. The location of the hotel was good. A short five / ten minute walk from one of the main tourist areas - it was therefore close to sightseeing bus routes. It was also fairly close to the train system. Some of the areas directly around the hotel looked run down but as we avoided them at night they didn't pose any problems that some other reviewers have hinted at. Les mer

My friend and I were going on a cruise out of Barcelona and wanted to tour Barcelona before we departed. We spent two nights at this hotel and the staff were so nice and helpful with information, recommendations and maps as needed. The business center provided free internet access and there was a small fitness center with hot tub. Very clean and close […] to nice tappas and theatre district within a short walk that was safe. This was an amazing hotel with friendly helpful staff that were more than willing to go the extra mile for you. The room was spacious, clean and to be honest...far nicer than we'd anticipated. Next door to an elementary school for those late sleepers and next to that a park where the homeless sleep. Didn't want to stay in this area but late plans forced this hotel selection. Walking distance to Las Ramblas but front desk gives out walking maps and tells you areas to avoid for safety purposes. Didn't want to spent any time in the arean near […] the hotel. Hotel is on an angled streeet so our room was angled. Kind of fun. Very modern decor but had a smell of mold in the elevator probably from the spa. Has a hot tub on a small roof that is closed in the evenings??? Has an exercise room and spa. The tub in our room was very short-an afterthought. We basically used it to stand in with the handheld shower. […] The rest was fine. The adaptor we bought still fried my blowdryer and electric rollers. We adjusted. The road was pretty noisy at night. The staff let us have an early check in which was wonderful after the long flight and losing our luggage. Very helpful to find locations, transportation back to airport for luggage and restaurants. Ended up eating right across the street at "August" outdoors under canopy. The menu had english subtitles! The hotel is right off parrallel street and is about a 10-15 min walk to most everything. We got out and explored. Found Las ramblas and Catalunya square where we got on our Hop on Hop off tour. the tour circles around this hotel and we got off most anywhere and had a 10- 15 min walk back to the hotel. Take a taxi to the cruise ship the buses don't do it. We walked from Joan de mir area and loved the area. Sure, the comforters and bedding are not luxury, but the beds are firm and cozy enough. The rooms are tidy. Free internet on the lower level was a plus. Great location across the street from many sidewalk cafes, around the corner from the metro and a short walk to "La Rambla". We did not mind the street noise but if you need quiet you may want to ask for a room in the back. The hotel staff were extremely courteous. We used this hotel before a cruise we took. Because of jet lag and a full day of travel, we overslept. They called our room shortly after check out to wake us and never mentioned the late check out. The rooms aren't huge but they are enough to live. My only concern was the firmness of the beds. If you like […] to sleep on a plank, this is the place for you. The hotel is within a short walking distance from many nice restaurants and shops. It is also within a few blocks of Las Ramblas. The hotel and staff were very nice and the room was clean. The only problem we had was that the hotel was a bit further from La Rambla than we expected and the street we had to walk down to get to La Rambla was a bit dodgy with unsavory characters, esp. at night.

This place is 4 stars but the workout room is small and smells bad. The jacuzzi on the room and ground floor seem dirty. The rooms are fairly small. The location is good though - close to Metro

The room was bigger than i expected and the bathroom was great (aside from the lack of door or curtain on the shower) - very clean. The hotel staff was really nice and laid back - always happy to recommend a restaurant or a place to eat. Very nice desk. Beds and bedding very sparce, however very clean. It is not as close to Las Ramblas as suggested (500 meters). Closer to 1200 meters. Convenient to subway, however. Room wifi but few electrical outlets. Extremely friendly, helpful staff.
