Quality Inn - West Columbia

Room was very clean. Almost a straight shot from hotel to University of South Carolina. Breakfast was plentiful. Would stay there again.

Good Straight shot to Columbia. Nothing to write home about, but it'll do the trick. They had weird Mustard sauced Bar-be-que there, S'aignt tho.

Pretty good, loved the fact that Waffle House was 30 seconds away. Walmart 1 minute away, Ruby Tuesday's was also very nearby. Excellent location

We stayed for 7 nights while getting work done to our house. On the plus side, they gave us a very good rate, the room was clean, and the staff was very willing to resolve issues. On the minus side, there were issues: refrigerator was not working (they replaced it), wall sconces lacked power and bulbs (they added extension cords and bulbs), and commode […] backed up 5:30 in the am (after I got a plumbers helper from front desk they fixed that day). The bed was made up nice, was comfortable and the room was clean. I like having the sink outside of the bathroom. The bathroom was very clean. The staff was friendly and helpful with directions and extending my stay for a night. The price was right. I would definitely stay there again.

Parking lot well lit, fenced in and secure. Fairly convenient to USC. Easy drive to the Arena and recommend taking shuttle from the Arena to Bryce Stadium.

The hotel even thou carpet was older, it was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was set back behind a waffle house, so I had to call to find out the location. The hotel staff were all very pleasant and helpful.Breakfast was good. I would recommend to friends and would stay again.

Stayed here for the game. Not too far from campus. Next to a waffle house which is nice. Rooms aren't spectacular, but for the price it's a good value.

Upstairs corridor had a key access that was non-functioning, so security was lacking. Also, the fire alarm went off twice overnight without reason.

I was visiting a student at USC and always stayed on campus. This time no room where available on campus and had to find another place to stay. Close to airport which is why I stayed. Older hotel with few updates. Did have refrig and coffee maker in room. Would not stay for more than 1 night.

The Hotel is back from the street, and the main sinage is obscured by a tree, making it difficult to locate. It is between a Gas station and a Waffle House, which may help some locate the entrance. The room was what I expected, but the carpet was well worn. The staff was nice and the breakfast was surprisingly good, much better than we expected.

Hotel was a little difficult to find, but i called the front desk and they were more than happy to help me find my way. Room was clean, pillows and sheets werent the softest ever but it was worth the money.

Overall, it was ok. I couln't find the hotel, because of all the signs around the hotel sign. When you are driving and don't know the area you can't see the sign. There was a bug crawlling up the wall the day I left, and there was water in the bottom of the refrigerator. I didn't have anything in it that leaked, so it was not anything I put in it. Lost my earrings, didn't find them but found a poop in the corner of the room. Impossible to sleep at night because of the fridge working extremely loud. Don't recommend to anyone

Location ok, service good, breakfast better but the bed was the worst. My whole left side of my body is now right bed bug bites. Not a comebacker.

Hotel was extremely easy to get to, right off the highway. A little disappointed that the pool was closed for the season (10/15/11). Breakfast was good.

It's not the Ritz but the price is good and the location is good. Restaurants are close. the staff is polite and responsive to your needs.

I really enjoyed my stay... from the off the beaten path location I thought I was not going to be happy but I was plesantly suprised...with the cleaniness of the rooms.

Although I dont remember paying for the bed bugs. It was flimsy, cheesy, a little grimy and certainly bed-buggy, but the staff were nice, the room was cheap, the place looked safe enough and it looked like they tried hard to clean the place.

Run down, tired rooms, sorry breakfast. The paint on the bathroom walls wasn't even the same color everywhere. the furnishings were from the seventies and the breakfast was a joke. pick another, lots more in Columbia area to choose from

I only stayed about 11 hours as I crashed there for the night while en route to a funeral. The location is very convenient to highway and there is continental breakfast including waffles. The room was pretty clean but whoever did there bathroom floor remodeling left tile grout on the carpet and were just messy. The room had two beds. I always pull […] back the sheets to check and one had a hair. I undestandthat even laundering may miss the stubborn hair so I just slept in the other bed. My clock was broken and the bed was kind of hard but I was tired so I dealt with it. The doors to the outside were supposed to require the key or entry but no key was needed. For the price and location I would use again for a night layover (nothing longer) but would definitely make sure I had a working clock. I am a woman and was traveling alone so I did appreciate the interior corridor and didn't go in with an expectation of needing a room key to enter the hall. I was expecting the rooms to connect from the lobby but had to drive around and park and go up the outside stairs. Again, I would go back for one night while heading somewhere else. clean nicely decorated room. excellent service. complimentary breakfast was the best i've ever had. quiet and convenient location. will return on my next trip to columbia.
