Was just what we needed was no surprises which is our greatest fear
Room was very clean and pleasant. Quiet area, convenient on/off from interstate. Staff were quite courteous as well.

Was visiting keys and took a halt at the place. Nice and clean place to rest your self after a tiring drive. The breakfast was great for travelers.

The room was clean on the smaller size, but adequate. We brought our 2 small dogs, there was plenty pf outside area to walk them. The staff was very pleasant. Not a bad place for an overnight stay. I do wish that they let you know the "small dog deposit" was $10.00 per, with a long list of rules etc.

"Microtel Kingsland- amazing value"
Not only was the price great, the bed and the linens, clever use of space in the rooms and immaculate condition of the entire property made it stand out. I will always look to Microtel first in the future when traveling.
"Unexpected surprise!"
Negative reviews were VERY misleading! The only negative was directions for arrival. Lots of great places to eat in walking distance. And easy access to all hiways. Food wasn't anything special but OK. Beds extra comfy! Great front desk staff all shifts. An unexpected jewel! Well worth the rate!!

Clean, convenient, and affordable. It was our stop-over point on the way to Florida.

The staff including the maids were friendly, courteous and helpful. The rooms were very clean and quiet. You could get a restful sleep. however, there is only one elevator in the building. The elevator broke down and I had to walk three floors with my disability, but they did have the elevator repaired by the time I returned to the hotel Overall, this […] is a great place to stay. 2nd year in a row coming down for the Lions Club oyster roast, and staying here. Clean and comfortable both years. 5 other couples who came with us shared the same thoughts.

Travel from NC to FL a few times per year and kingsland is our stop. This Microtel is a great value. Clean, friendly staff, and very reasonable.

Typical European influenced hotel, comfortable yet no frills. Ideal for staying a night while continuing your journey.

This is my second time staying at the Microtel. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean. The fixtures in the room that we had this time are showing their age with a bit of rust and probably could stand to be changed out. Other than that I have given the Microtel Inn and Suites a very good rating.
"Would not recommend"
We booked through hotels.com and need up getting a smoking room. We were 2 families traveling with 3 small children and the smell of cigarette in the room was unbearable. There was nothing on the booking site that mentioned we were getting a smoking room. So we ended up moving o a different room windy paying additional money and these rooms only had […] one bed each. The breakfast was just for namesakes. The worst free breakfast I've e vet had in a hotel. Would not recommend this place. Les mer
"Not Smokeless"
While we were assured that the room was a smoke free on a smoke free room, the sofa did have a burnt mark and the only other suite that that offerred us was on the smoking & pet floor, neither of which was a real option, for health reason. We stayed the night as the room was prepaid and it was late, but they did not even offer anything not even towards […] a future stay. This showed a lack of customer service. Les mer

I spent the night here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday. We stayed in the Queen Suite on the second floor. The bed is really comfortable. Great location!!. Nice continental breakfast. I stay here often and will continue to do so!!!!

This hotel is on the main strip, so close to other hotels and lots of restaurants. It was a great value and fit well with our basic needs. They provide a light breakfast (waffles, fruit, juice, etc.), so don't expect the works. On the outside this hotel competes well with the other new hotels surrounding it, but the rooms show obvious wear and tear. The hotel is located in a very awkward location. It is off hwy 40 and to get to it, we had to drive through the El-Cheapo gas station's parking lot. The room's carpet needed cleaning as well as the cushioned desk chair. Overall, it's an OK place to stay. We were only there for one night. The girl's at the front desk was very nice & helpful.

This hotel is a steal! Its very affordable, very clean, and looks a lot nicer than some of the other hotels. I have stayed at two other hotels in Kingsland in the last year, and this one is by far the best. The only down size is that they are going "green" which means even less water pressure for the showers, but thats pretty typical for hotels anyway. We […] had two rooms on the 3rd floor, where half the rooms were smoking, and half the rooms were non-smoking. The hallways smelled AWFUL but the you couldn't smell it at all once you got in your room. Overall a great hotel. Lots of restaurants around, CVS and Walmart, close to St. Marys for Cumberland Island. I would recommend to others. Les mer

I have no idea how this motel was given a ranking the same as Country Inn and Suits and Best Western Plus of Kingsland, GA. I am not familiar with Microtel nor it's business model. Yet I do not see this motel being anyone idea of a comfortable place to stay. From my experience this hotel does not have adequate number of staff during anytime period. We enjoyed the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The front staff were friendly and helpful. Nice continental breakfast in the morning. We were very pleased and would stay there again.

This hotel was outstanding, Desk person (Michelle) was friendly and courteous, as was the young lady (Sally) that checked us out of the hotel. Room was VERY clean, as was the rest of the property.
Our first time staying at a Micotel, and what a pleasant surprise! Of course, we expected a smaller room, but it was quite ample. It was clean and comfortable, and we slept well. "Some things better some things worse"
Warm cookies in the evening lemonade in the lobby and a nice massage chair. New amenities that were nice. The rooms have aged and the renovations are low par. We reserved 2 rooms in one room the toilet was painted and paint dripped down the toilet bowl looked unclean and in the other room the black foam cushion they had lining the doorway was coming […] a loose and it made it difficult to close the door and tight. "Nice Hotel"
I like the hotel and the location.I would definitely stay there again. Only thing I did not like is being close to a smoking room and the smell was very strong. Other than that, I had a good stay at Microtel.
"Continental Breakfast"
The continental breakfast was nice, however, I would like to recommend that you provide more than one waffle iron (at least three). With only one waffle iron in the Kingsland, GA hotel, people were waiting to make waffles. Also recomment fresh fruit (rather than can friut cocktail) and boiled eggs.

"Microtel in GA"
Great place to stay and the staff was very kind and friendly. The hotel is close to most food establishments and stores. The only disappointment was the work out room. None of the Cardio equipment worked. I would stay at this location again.

The Microtel in Kingsland, GA was in a good location, but if you are not watching where you are going you will pass it up. It is off the highway, behind other businesses. Most of the staff was very friendly. I would book this and other hotels thru Hotels.com again. I would also stay at this hotel again.
