Hotel Quartier - Quebec

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel. Everything was great. I was confronted to a problem of printing documents (40 copies) at 11 pm that I needed for early next morning. The clerk at the front desk printed to me without charging me. The service was just great!

The surprise was the absence of room service and our ability to make our own coffee in our room. A fine espresso at a resonable price was outside the hotel. Beside that for a brief one night stay great! Last word if you need a taxi in rush hour inquire very early Sainte-Foy is a great business place.

Unfortunatly, every person who walk to their room at every hours of the night, seems to be in our room. I did not sleep very weell!

A short and pleasant stay, helpful and friendly staff. We stayed for one nite as we were were on our way to PEI.

There was no one at the front desk when we arrived. We waited a good 15 minutes before someone showed up. The restaurant does not have the same administration as the hotel and they don't seem to be happy about it. The location was good, so we enjoyed our stay anyway.

It's a very convenient and practical hotel for a short stay. I stayed in an executive room. Very clean and confortable. I stayed there for a big show at the Abrahams Plains. 800/801 Bus stop just a block away to go there. Free parking in the back (drop your luggages before at the front). Small swimming pool. Staff was very polite and helpful to provide […] information on how to get around the city. Restaurant next to the lobby is ok. The room had a very modern decor that was very nice. The bathroom was also very nice. The problems that we had with the room was that the carpet needed to be changed. It looked quite worn and didn't feel clean. The television also need to be changed, ( it was the old type and did not go with the decor) and the TV viewing stations were a very bad selection. […] They must of had the cheapest cable package. One last thing was the bed sheets. They did not have a fitted sheet with elastics and they just used a top sheet for the bottom sheet and the top sheet was not long enough and the bed kept coming apart.......................... The hotel lobby and common areas are very nice, newly renovated. The room itself was large enough for us to put up a playpen for my baby to sleep in with plenty of room to spare. The bathroom could have been improved. It wasn't dirty or bad but it hadn't been updated recently. The hotel has an ultra-modern style design. Impressed with its bathroom renovation, while our room is not very spacious (decent though). Very friendly multi-lingual staff. Not in the center of Quebec city but easy enough and not far to get around. This hotel is not very welcoming. Confusing: you have to register first then park the car. Trouble to find back door to reenter hotel from parking. Inside, hotel is like a maze. To get to our room (#353) we had to go up stairs then down some stairs, not very practical with baggage on hand. In the room, with two queen size beds, the only free outlet […] is in the bathroom. Bathroom very small for 2 people with only one hook behind door. We could hear people walking loudly on top of the ceiling. Although the hotel looks very good coming into the lobby, the rest is cheap with soiled carpets and back doors dirty. Thanks God ! we only stay two nights. Les mer

I have stayed here many years in the past, but stopped about 5 years ago and was waiting for the renovations to take place. The rooms have been updated nicely, but the air conditioning still needs to be replaced, as it is very noisy and difficult to sleep with it on. The bed was very comfortable and cozy. We stayed at this hotel a few nights ago. Check in was fast and clerks were pleasant and helpful. We found the beds to be a bit of a disappointment since they were only double beds and not Queen like other hotels. However, they were comfortable. We had to get a cot for a child at 15 $ a night. That was a bit of a bummer. Pool was fun for the kids but […] alot of chlorine. My son's eyes were really red when he came out. Nothing dangerous though. We didn't eat at the restaurant but menu seemed interesting and prices reasonable. The only thing we didn't like was the size of the beds. Les mer

We found the restaurant to be excellent, the hotel itself to be well maintained. We did find the bed extremely hard leaving both of us with sore backs. Also it is impossible to get from the parking area to the hotel without steps which is not convenient with luggage. The front entrance is more excessible. Overall a good quality experience.

The noise from the hallways was horrible. There was very little insulation to act as a sound barrier. Furthermore, the air conditioning was extremely loud starting and stopping. I would definitiely never stay here again.

the hotel was located in a very good spot as the resturaunts and shopping malls were within walking distance. the room was very nicely renovated.the pool was well looked after.

Second elevator needs to be fixed ASAP. One is not enough. Coffee stains need to be cleaned off front of desk drawers. More ice machines are needed with proper signage.

It was nice. The only negative thing about it would be that there were only 1 hook in the bathroon to hang our 4 wet towels.

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. The housekeeping did a great job. The hotel room was a bit small, with a tiny bathroom, but it was well laid out and did the job. We didn't spend that much time in the room - we stayed for three nights. The only issue was noise from the room above. We were woken two of the three nights. There is […] not much soundproofing between the floors, although we never heard any of our neighbours except those upstairs. The location is about 8km from Old Quebec, but very east to get around. twas a very nice stay, only 2 negatives.... the wifi was spotty and there was no refrigerator to keep my canadien beer cold. the concierge spoke perfect english. i definitely will return again.

The air conditioning in the room was so noisy that the three of us did not have a good nights sleep. It was too cold when it was on and too hot when it was off. Otherwise, the comfort would have been fine.

For a family of four, it was an affordable single-night stopover. A small pool distracted kids, free parking and fast to find off the highway. A short drive on a single street to get to the Old City. A little shabby despite recent renos, but clean and efficient.

Ok hotel. Easy access from highway and central to malls and some restaurants. Not for families, not for non-french speaking, (like all of quebec city). Air conditioning not working, only french language tv, needs paint in places. It was a surprise to know that on July 2, 2012 the hotel could not provide regular breakfast service due to the holiday! Doesn't understand why an essential service can be suspended with an excuse of no staff coming to work on a holiday! What about other staff, they are still working!

We went to Quebec city for a family trip of 3 days. It is nice staying in the hotel. The hotel is clean and new, close to bus stops, restaurants, high ways, easy for going to downtown. and kid like the small indoor pool.
