"only complaint was breakfast"
I was totally satisfied with my stay and always prefer staying at Country Inn, if possible, when I travel. My only complaint at this location was breakfast. I'm not sure if they had a new employee but they seemed to run out of certain foods everyday, silverware and other necessary utensils weren't readily available. I've never had that experience before […] with this hotel. Other than that it was great!!! Les mer

"Augusta Hotel"
Cleanliness was not a priority of the staff. Example coffee grounds from previous guest were still in the coffee maker. Elevator was dirty. No toilet paper in the public restroom1
"Great Stay"
The hotel was perfect nice rooms great staff great location and the indoor pool was awesome the only draw back was there was only one elevator and the view on the back side of the hotel was overlooking any empty field...can't wait to book another room

Good motel for the value. Seems to be an older hotel in their chain but room was clean and nice. Don't expect latest upgrades, but great for traveling and again clean - VERY IMPORTANT!!!

"Smelled like smoke"
Although I requested, and was given, a non-smoking room, the whole hotel smelled like smoke when you walked through it. And, every time I exited the hotel, there were hotel staff standing within 5 feet of the exit smoking. Not a pleasant experience for a non-smoker. If you're a smoker, the hotel would probably be fine.
Although I was satisfied with this hotel, the bed felt as if I were sleeping on concrete and the pillows were too soft.
"Augusta, GA"
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay there. I was there for the weekend to attend a wedding at the Municipal Center. We were not too far away. Plenty of stores and restaurants near by and the staff was so sweet. The breakfast was good as well. Thanks for making our stay a good one. Only request next time is some extra pillows. :)

the staff was amazing, probably the best i have encountered. House keeping ladies were complete professionals, with pleasant attitudes. A real pleasure to stay at this hotel.

The staff at the hotel was great. I initially reserved the room because they had an indoor pool. Upon arrival it was closed. When they realized it they quickly called another hotel and gave us access to another pool. Although it was an outdoor pool, it was great to know someone cared enough to make those accomidatipns. The food was fresh and always […] stocked up. The bed was sooo comfortable. I rented 2 suites and the only concern I have is the sheets and blankets provided for the sleeper sofa were not clean,neither were complete sets and had several dirty spots, it looked completely dirty. When I asked for different sheets they said housekeeping was gone for the day. Honestly, I would stay here again. Next time I will make sure they double check the blankets. Les mer

I had stayed at a country inns & suites last month in Virginia and was very pleased so I decided to try this one. It was very disappointed as this one measured far below and is in need of updating. However, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

My family and I were visiting from the West Coast and wanted a comfortable place to stay. The room was a little run-down for a hotel so new; however, it was livable and met our immediate needs. The hotel staff were courteous and efficient..
"NO WATER==NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY"
1st. night was great, big nice clean room.came in 2pm. NO WATER, called desk. it will be on by 6pm. seems there was a main break but fixed. waiting for pressure to come up.NOT true! my investigation revealed a service line break.(motel at fault not city) 8pm.10pm.midnight, NO WATER! ok last try 2am!!! thankfully 6am water.breakfast ok sat. not sunday! complained […] at checkout about no water,reply it was a pain for everyone!! later I learned by talking to other guest. they were offered a free night for the inconvenince...country inn and carlson can kiss my .......hotels.com won't let me say that. My stay was for 3 days and I spent 15 hours on the computer and was very comfortable. I like the room and the pillows were very comfortable. The location is great.

Nice hotel, convenient and easy to find. Front desk friendly and helpful. There was a hot breakfast offered but we had other plans for breakfast. Breakfast smelled good!

"No friends/family allowed to swim with you."
Our family comes to Augusta four times a year. Our teenage twin boys have two long-time friends they visit. We chose this hotel with an indoor pool so that the kids could get together and have a swim inside. However, we were nastily informed by the day manager that visitors were not allowed in the pool. Every other time we have stayed at a hotel in […] Augusta, this has not been a problem. There was no posting of this policy, either in the pool room or the hotel booklet in our room. We were the only people in the pool room (me, the adult, and four 16 year olds). The kids were playing responsibly, no yelling, etc. We won't be returning and will definitely not be recommending this place as family friends. Les mer

Only complaints, thin walls and could hear the guests next door. Staff did not make sure breakfast food was kept available.

Room was decent size. Enjoyed continential breakfast. Great location to get to the major attractions within the ciy. The heated pool was awesome.

The service was very good. The people were extremely nice. The pool wasn't heated but It was still ok.
"Good Hotel for the Price"
Lobby is very nice and appealing. Breakfast was included in room rate and was good. Rooms need a little tender loving care, as they have been mistreated. Cofee Maker in the room, but No coffee to brew for any of the stay. For the price, hotel met my expectations! Cold Bottled water and hot fresh baked cookies were a great touch!

"Visiting VA Hospital"
We were in Augusta to visit a family member at the VA Hospital. This was a very convenient place to stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze. It was perfect for our kids with the indoor pool and the breakfast served in the morning. Everything was clean, and everyone was very nice. I will stay here every time I go to Augusta!
Have stayed at this hotel everytime we go to Augusta. Actually, we tried a different hotel one time and the next went back to using Country Inn and Suites. The service is always great, the staff is very friendly and the room is always very nice, clean and comfortable.

Very good service. The breakfast was good the coffee was great. Love the big screen tv in the dining area. Had teens with me and there was plenty to do like swim in the indoor pool, watch movies on the tv in the dining room, and the receptionists were extremely kind to us. We stayed for 5 nights and it was a very comfortable stay. The rooms and bathrooms […] were clean. Hotels.com had the lowest rate for this particular hotel than any other program.
