The city tax came as a surprise. Stayed there for 6 nights and had to pay app. 50 euro more. Did not get that info when I was booking a room.

Veldig fornøyd med hotellets beliggenhet, servicen og hjelpsomheten til personalet. Man kan følge Avenue Louise rett ned til Palace Royal (ca 30 min gange) og derifra er det ikke langt til Grande Place +++ Rommet var rent og veldig stort, badet av høy standard (til å være mellom-Europa).

Hotellet er under oppussing, noe som senker kvaliteten med stillaser, uferdige balkonger, huller i veggene osv. Rommet var overopphetet med dårlig ventilasjon, så det ble lite søvn. 2 stjerner hadde vært mer passende.

The front of the hotel is completely covered, undergoing construction I guess, so that was a bit strange to arrive to, but the lobby was nice and modern. The front desk was nice enough, but the rooms were not great. They were clean enough, but very small and felt cheap. Also, my room was separate from the hallway and in the fire escape access, with […] a strange entry room for storage. It was just an odd feeling for a hotel and could have been in a much more convenient location. If I went back I would spend more for a more central and newer hotel. Les mer

My familys first trip to Brussels. This hotel is a quick trip from Midi train station. We statyed two nights. The peopel at the front desk were very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Beds were good. A grocery store, bars and resturants are with in walking distance. Very nice. I would stay there again.

For my next trip, it will be my first choice because i like the location in a town i like too, The service is quite good and it has a lot of place for all the things a modern traveller have with him.

I had to stay at the hotel just before, and after a small cosmetic operation on my ears. Very professional, clean and near lots of amenities. Although I never used it, there is a tram station just over the road, and coffee shops down the street, and a small supermarket pretty much next door. A hotel with an excellent location near fancy shopping, with a tram right at the front of the hotel. The staff is very polite and helpful. The room was big and the breakfast varied.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is quite basic, but clean. On the plus side, my room had a large bathroom - a huge change from the cramped bathrooms you'd usually find in city hotels. The decor is rather tired; even the carpet pattern in the lifts had worn off, and there was some damp in corners around the window. That said, the […] thermostats on both radiators (one in the room, the other in the bathroom) are controllable, so no complicated air conditioning to bother with. With the wonderful Ixelles just around the corner, with its many restaurants, cafes, boutique shops, and several excellent patisseries and the Wednesday afternoon/evening market, it is in a great location. The city centre is around 45 minutes' walk away, up Avenue Louise, or alternatively you can hop on a bus or tram into the city. A good, basic hotel, but nothing fancy - perfect if you just want somewhere to sleep. (For me, the bonus was that BBC1, BBC2, BBC3 and BBC World were all available on the TV.) Les mer

The hotel is situated about an 8mins tram journey away from the louise metro station. This neighbourhood is very nice with plenty shops but can be around a 20mins walk so get the tram 94! The reception and entrance to the hotel looks very nice and new. The double/twin room we had was HUGE. The bed was comfy, there was heating, the towels and bedding […] were clean, there was a flat screen tv with about 4 english speaking channels (which i found) and lots of other language channels. The reception staff were polite, the hotel offers breakfast which i didnt take, they give you a city map and can help with other tourist info..the only thing i found was quite consistent throughout the room was that there seemed to be a lot of peeling of paint on doors, toilet wall had dirt marks on..the shower curtain was a little old, however these are all superficial things which did not affect my stay in any way, the comfort of the room and the facilities were much more important than a few marks or peeling doors. This is billed as a 'four star' hotel. There is no way this is a four star hotel... Broken room furniture, broken bathroom fixtures, perfunctory staff (maybe they think this is chic), no hotel restaurant, no hotel bar, no nearby restaurants open mid-afternoon, small dirty elevators, no air conditioning, no in-room temperature control (bring a pullover), […] broken door handles on the fire escape, excessive room pricing during a recent rail strike, street walkers outside at night.... Make up you own mind whether you want to stay here... I would not recommend anyone do so. Les mer

Good location although parking is only free outside at the weekend. Room was very big and spacious and was warm. TV has a couple of English channels. There were a few restaurants within 20 minutes walk.

Very spacious with another bed room and bath room in upstair loft. Room is worn out. No sound proffing. Street noise was constant. The above tenants brought the party to thier room at 2am and were throwing up at 4am.

with a tram stop just outside the door the hotel is in a great location. The room however was a disaster -it stank of curry and was not properly cleaned. The bathroom was faded - flaking paint and mould on tiles. On the first night we we left short of towels 1 hand and 1 Bath for two people. Hotel well situated, I got an upgrade for the room, staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend to people looking for a quiet hotel, out of buzzy touristic centre but located on a nice avenue (av. Louise), the Ixelles lakes, place Flagey (and its fries!)...

As many people have said before, this is not a four star hotel. However, you will not pay four star prices. The staff were extrememly helpful and welcoming, and helped with everything we had to ask of them. The room was huge, (the biggest hotel room we have ever stayed in.) The rooms are not particularly well sound proofed as we could hear quite clearly […] the conversations occouring in the next room. The bed was not comfortable. A cheap and cheerful hotel, and although probably 'luxurious' in it's day, could do with some refurbishment. We did love the carpeted lifts! Les mer

Worst hotel I have stayed in for years. Old hard furniture, threadbare carpets, no a/c, shower was broken, just a dump...I will never stay here again.

This is a good hotel if you have a car or like to walk. It's about a 40-minute walk from the main square. Overall, the hotel looked good, though aged. Our room was clean, though there was a hole in the blanket on the bed. One issue was that the AC unit was very weak and our room was very hot throughout the night.

This hotel might have been a 4 stars many years ago, but not today. Low budget solutions and lack of renovation everywhere. Bathroom looked as one in a dorm. Good news is that the staff seemed to remain the same: 4 stars attitude for low rate.

When we got to the hotel the guy who was there was super nice to us, he helped us with everything we needed. Our room was amazing, we didnt pay a lot and it was really big, two floors. We had free wifi. Breakfast was not included and the place didnt look very clean, other than that is really nice. The tram stop is right infront of the hotel which helps […] a lot. Is not very close to the attractions but the public transportation is close. It was terribly hot and there was not AC. Not a 5 star hotel but its a nice place to stay though. Melhorias (avaliação do quarto 311): 1) melhor manutenção do hotel 2) o banheiro fica todo molhado após os banhos, há vazamento de água na divisória de vidro da banheira 3) cabeceira da cama quebrada com prego exposto Pontos fortes: 1) silêncio durante a noite 2) atendimento da recepção.
