We do a lot of 4x4 trails through AZ. Most of the time it is just one night stays at a local Holiday Inn Express. However, we found this hotel at a very good rate. We were very happy with the room. i reserved a deluxe room on hotels.com according to the wyndham, your description of deluxe and theirs is different so we got a standard room. they are extremely small and uncomfortable. wouldn't recommend them to anyone.

The room was small, one regular chair, poor lighting, frayed and dingy, but reeking of chlorine, towels. We were expecting a king bed, but got a queen with the offer to upgrade at hotel rates; how generous. A good breakfast. The staff was pleasant and professional but that did not mitigate the overall disappointment of our experience.

This resort was a nice and very convenient place to stay since we were going to the Arts festival in Tubac. The only thing we noticed is that since it is in a retirement area, most places close by 8:00 or 9:00. The front desk had a list of restaraunts and places to go and we enjoyed our nights out. We asked for a king size bed with rooms adjacent to our friends. The rooms had queen size beds with rooms on differents floors. The rooms were lockout rooms from the main room of a time-share. The elevators were old and very slow. The TVs were old and the remote controls could not go right to a channel. The interior was cold, sterile, and unwelcoming. The room had NO comfortable chairs, only a desk chair. The room was overpriced !!!!! The restaurant was not in the hotel, but was at the golf course, and you had to drive to get there; and the meals were very over priced. We were quite dissatisfied with the assigned room. It was small, dark and overlooked a small semi-indoor courtyard. There was no chair other than a straight backed one for the built in desk. Lighting was poor. The bed linens and towels looked well worn. Other rooms were more adequate with balconies and space to sit and read.

It was really nice place to stay. Easy check in and check out. Would recommend to others.

The hotel Has a very time share feel. It is very quiet which is nice. There is no onsite dining or bar, you have to go the golf course, which closes at 8 pm. If you come in late, you have to travel to Green Valley for your dinner. If you are a golfer, I am sure this is the place for you, if your not, you should choose an alternate location.

We selected this hotel from a list of four star resorts. It' appears relatively new and the grounds are under development, so the immediate views at present are limited, but at a distance it's spectacular. Overall and I'm sure down the road, it will be a golfers paradise. The spa and pool area were very nice looking, although we did not partake of them. […] The restaurant on premise is top notch, both breakfast and dinner. The staff we encountered during our stay were very customer centric.Of particular note is Alexis, the front desk clerk upon our arrival. She was very friendly and accomodating in helping us with our room request. From the moment we checked in the staff was so helpful and friendly. This was everyone from the front desk to housekeeping. I would go back there in a second. The grounds were well kept and they had a wonderful pool area with a nightly bondfire. It's only about 5 minutes from the main part of Green Valley and only 2 minutes from the freeway. We would definitely stay therer again. The room was pleasant and the hot breakfast was just great. cooked to order. A little hard to find, particularly at night with no street lamps in Green Valley.

I stayed at the resort in October. The front desk staff were all friendly and most helpful. My room was large and the bed was most comfortable- a delight. The balcony was large and pleasant. The drapes and shutters were effective at darkening the room in the early morning. The bathroom had a high window which created a bright atmosphere; vanity was […] wide and the shower stall was large. The walk-in closet had plenty of hangers and ample storage space. I was disappointed that the Wi-Fi connection was erratic and weak. That can easily be remedied. I would gladly commend this property to my friends. Les mer

This hotel was down the road a ways from central green valley but it was worth the drive. Friends of ours stayed at the comfort inn in green valley and said they would never stay there again. They were upset they did not have the awesome hotel experience we had at the Wyndham Green Valley. I will edfinetly stay here again.

Overall, it was a great place, although the vibe was a little time-sharish. No one actually hit us up, but we did have to walk through a sales or time share office to get to the pool (actually, there were other outdoor entrances, but we didn't know that the first time we went to the pool.) The room was nice and big, with a huge closet and bathroom, […] but the way the room was organized and the lack of furniture to fill the space made the room feel a little sparce and empty. The absolute best hotel in Green Valley! Do not go to any other hotel. The best rates, the best rooms, the best amenities, and the best staff are here at this hotel. The only thing I am a little disappointed with is that there is a no pet policy. Still, the best!

Lovely hotel with a great surrounding area. Definitely would recommend this to all travelers in this area.

What a great resort! Our room was upgraded to a one-bedroom suite when we came in late after a difficult car trip and getting lost finding the resort! Great service with a smile, luxurious setting....very peaceful. Only drawback is the distance from Tucson but it was only about a 25 minute drive.

We booked a regular room and was disappointed in the location of the room. Since the resort was not very busy we felt they could have located us with a better view. Our AC was not set so when we entered the room it was HOT and stuffy. The decor was very simple. The AC and small refrigerator made LOUD noises. If you had the TV on you had to raise the […] volume to hear it. Could not get the internet to work. I called the front desk for assistance but they could not help me. The walls are thin and you can hear the people in the next room. The main reason we stayed at this hotel was to golf at the resorts course. The course is closed until mid September. Also the only restaurant "The Grill" does not serve Breakfast during the week and closes at 7pm. Their isn't any other restaurant close by ...All through the food at The Grill was very good. Les mer

CLERK AT FRONT DESK PERFUNCTORILY GAVE DIRECTIONS TO THE ROOM. A SHORT EXPLANATION OF THE VARIOUS BUILDINGS. THE TV SCREEN WAS PARTIALLY BLOCKED IF ANYONE WAS IN A POSITION OTHER THAN THE MIDDLE OF THE BED. THE BATHROOM HAD NO PAPER OR CARDBOARD DRINKING GLASSES SO IT WAS NECESSARY TO GO OUT TO THE BEDROOM AND USE A GLASS DRINKING GLASS. I WONDERED […] HOW A PERSON COULD GET TO THE RESTAURANT WHEN IT RAINED. THE RESTAURANT ACROSS THE STREET WAS FINE, BUT EXPENSIVE. THE ELEVATORS WERE SLOW AND THE BUZZER ON EACH FLOOR WAS FAR TOO LOUD. Les mer

I was a little disappointed only because when I called to reserve the room I asked for 2 beds. When I checked in, I was told they didn't have rooms with 2 beds in them. I was there for 4 nights and had to share a bed with my sister. Yes, we are adults but we aren't that close. I never even had to share a room with her growing up. Kinda sucked. The hotel room was just as good as the pictures if not better. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The staff was very friendly and gave us handouts of neat hot spots around the area.

We did enjoy our stay at the Canoa Resort very much. The room with the king size bed had everything we were looking for. Dont take a room with a queen size bed. This rooms are very small and have no view. We would stay there again.

The woman at the front desk on arrival was extremely pleasant and had everything ready for us so check-in took just a minute or two. I knew the room was probably going to be one off the tiny courtyard other reviewers have mentioned and it was. People walking in the front of the building to get to their room or the fitness center could see almost our […] entire room if the drapes were open. The main part of the room had just enough room to fit 2 queens sized beds, a nightstand and very narrow walkways between the edge of the bed and the walls. The room also had a noisy refrigerator and a tube TV with DVD and VCR player. I think the TV received 8 channels of nothing interesting and definitely didn't have on-demand movies or kid programming. The bathroom was sufficiently large but poorly designed. For example, to get into the shower you had to close the door or step over the toilet. A large closet gave plenty of room for luggage and also contained the air conditioner for the room. We stayed 2 nights and the cleaning service in between was very effective. They replaced a light bulb in the bathroom that was out and did a nice job with the rest of the tiny room. I'm guessing this place is/was a condo or timeshare property until the economic downturn. Our room felt like the guest bedroom for a larger suite that was accessible through a locked door we could not open. The tube TV and DVD/VCR seem to pre-date the building itself as if they were recovered from an older hotel that got an upgrade to widescreen LCD TVs. All-in-all, I think the service level is there for a typical business chain hotel but they're making the best of a mediocre building. I would have liked a better selection of TV channels to help my young kids wind down at night or wake up in the morning and I would definitely like more room around the beds. And as others have commented, the sliding door to the patio is such a privacy issue the room effectively has no windows and feels even smaller and closed in. I Les mer

2 Bedroom queen room not worth the stay. Our window faced a inner square with multiple windows within 15ft. With window shades open we were a fish tank and with them closed we stayed in a cave. Other rooms could be better. Also had to complain managment about loud parties in a connecting room. A/C very loud. Resort looked nice and other rooms may be […] better, but can't say as after complaints about the above management said they could'nt move us. Les mer

The grounds by the pond and pool are beautiful--probably the golf course, too. The room was clean. But the staff was unfriendly and not particularly helpful (couldn't find the ice machine--turns out they're "hidden" on the 2nd flr of each building. The mattress seemed old, hard, and lumpy. Great Stay. Will definitely go back. Very quiet and spacious room. Absolutely loved it.

The hotel itself is very nice quality, but no restaurant on premises. They have a cheese and wine tasting in the afternoon put on by their sales staff, so be prepared to look at their models for sale. Weather was the coldest ever recorded (27 degrees with 35 mph wind) with night time temps in mid teens. Our room's heat went out and we had no hot water. […] The hotel has several buildings and they moved us to a room in the main building. Original room was large king, second room smaller queen - but it was warm & lots of hot water. They did give us the second room at 50% because of the inconvenience. Not much in the surrounding area - built next to Canoa Ranch golf course and they have a great restaurant which is open for breakfast. They have happy hour half price menu and staff was excellent. Quite a distance for shopping - No Taxi service in Green Valley - must have a vehicle. We weren't able to use the pool area due to weather, so cannot speak to that. Les mer

I loved this place. It was beautifully kept, the staff was extremely helpful. The location was not as convenient as I had hoped. I would definately stay at this hotel again as well as recommend it to others.

This place is perfectly situated to get to everything in that area.

Beautiful surroundings, clean and professional. Only problem is "wish we could stay longer".

The room was very small. The hotel walls were paper thin. We could here every little noise. Internet access for PC's was on the nightstand between the beds with the desk on the other side of the room.

This is a hidden gem in the area just south of Tucson. The resort has an on-site challenging golf course, and is near some very decent restaurants. Combined with a visit to the Titan II Missile Museum and other local attractions, this is a great place to go!!

This place is really nice and we got a great deal on the rate. The only bummer was there is no continental breakfast but they do have restaurants you can go to. The views were fantastic!! I would recommend this place to anyone.
