Beliggende i et hyggelig og rolig nabolag, og et fint sted å trekke seg tilbake etter en hektisk dag i Paris. Som vanlig er i Paris er rommene relativt små, men Eiffel suiten som vi hadde er et herlig rom. God plass til to voksne og to barn, med flott utsikt. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbake til vår "leilighet" i Paris

Dette er et transportknutepunkt, med to hovedjernbanestasjoner og et titalls metrooverganger. Gare du Nord er stasjonen for Eurostar og tog til Charles de Gaulle flyplass. Hovedattraksjonene er glass- og viftemuseene og 1600-tallsbuegangene på St Denis og St Martin. Vi var 3 par (uten barn) som tilbringte 5 netter på Hotel Paris Liege. Hotel standarden var svært dårlig. Fukt- og muggskader i alle rom. Tapet hadde løsnet fra vegg. Frodig vekst i ventilasjonsanlegg, med lekasje nedover vegg. Vi var 3 hele dager uten varmt vann - dette da varmtvannstakk stod å kokte nede i kjeller. Vi hadde med en rørlegger som kunne […] bekrefte dette. Vi hadde med en astmatiker som fikk forverring av helsetilstanden under oppholdet. Beliggenheten var derimot sentral. Hotellet ligger ved en av hovedsentralstasjonene - Garde du nord. Flytog gikk direkte til/fra området. Kort vei til severdigheter. Vi tilbringte minst mulig tid på hotellet. Helhetsinntrykket på hotellet gjorde en liten demper på turen generelt. Anbefaler ikke dette hotellet til andre reisende, spesielt ikke med barn!!! Les mer
"Ikke bo her hvis du ikke liker vannlekkasje"
Det første vi la merke til når vi kom inn på hotellet var at vi ikke kunne ta av oss skoene når vi var på rommet, ettersom vann fra dusjen hadde flytt ut på vegg-til-vegg teppet. Vi sa fra til resepsjonisten neste dag, og når vi kom tilbake hadde de lagt to håndklær over det verste området. Pris og beliggenhet er vel det eneste å si positivt om dette […] hotellet. Kort veg til Gare Du Nord hvor man finner alt av kollektivtransport, og mange butikker og restauranter i nærheten. Les mer
"et koselig lite hotell."
Som voksen med tenåringssønn på tur var det viktig å bo sentralt og trygt. Det gjorde vi på hotell Liege som ligger 30 sekunder fra Gare du Nord (vi kom med tog). Vi fikk sjekke inn en time før tiden, og resepsjonisten var svært behjelpsom med alt. Han snakket litt norsk og veldig godt engelsk. Kort vei til metro fra hotellet, og resepsjonisten ga oss […] gode tips ang metro og oppholdet i byen. Rent og hyggelig rom med ac, gratis internett og så rolig gate man kan få det i sentrum av Paris en sommerdag. Eneste minus var at det ikke var frokost med i prisen. Man kunne kjøpe kontinental frokost. Den var ikke verdt prisen. Les mer

"God beliggenhet"
Hotellet var helt greit i forhold til prisen. Lite, enkelt, litt slitt, men helt greit for meg. Det var litt problem med Wi-Fi forbindelsen på rommet.
Helt greit hotell for meg som reiste alene. Ville ikke tatt med barn hit. Hotellet ligger sentralt mht Gard de Nord(togstasjonen) og severdigheter. Hotellet er ganske nedslitt og gammelt. Enkelt rommet var helt greit, god seng og nok plass for 1 pers. Jeg velger nok et emnet hotell neste gang.

hotellet er enkelt og rimelig. Alt man trenger, er der, et rent bad, en god seng, tv, internett. Personalet i resepsjonen snakker bra engelsk og er høflige og behjelpelige. Heisen er en tanke enkel, går fra trappeavsatsene og er meget trang, men dette er ikke noe egentlig problem. Strøket rundt hotellet er folkelig, restaurantr med vennlig personale […] og rimelig mat. F.x. Ikke veldig "elegant" - men hyggelig. Gare du Nord i et stenkasts avsand. Bra tilgang på taxi, også nr Rue lafayette som bringer en retning operaen og sentrale strøk. Les mer
"Bra billighotell"
Hotellet har veldig god beliggenhet så nært Gare du Nord du nesten kan komme. Til å være et såkalt billighotell, er standarden meget god med støysikre vinduer og et bad som kan konkurrere med dat aller meste. Var også fornøyd med størrelsen på rommet, i Paris må man forvente litt av hvert, spesielt LITT, men dette rommet hadde rett og slett god plass. […] Anbefales på det varmeste :) Les mer

"NOISEY!!! All night long"
If you in any way consider yourself a light sleeper do not sit up all night here. You will not sleep. Walls paper thin, no lift and apparently leading horses up and down old noisy adjacent to rooms stairwell. Lobby noisy all night long which goes right up stairwell. Very convenient to Du Norde, but you'll sleep better in the station!

"Hotel Paris Liege, Paris"
The hotel is just a few steps away from Gare du Nord and easy to find. It's in a convenient location for buses and the Metro. The room was clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. I left my luggage for later collection on my final day. I have no complaints about either the hotel or the area it is in.
"PLEASURE STAY IN PARIS"
For the purpose of my visit, hotel was just right. Cross the street from garde du nord. Transportation very accessible as well as restaurants. Clerk's very friendly. Price range was just what i was looking for and was able to check in couple hours early...AWESOME! OLD, but clean. "damp and smelly"
From the moment we forced the stuck door open, the stench of damp in the room was overwhelming. It was all up the walls behind the curtains and all over the bathroom. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in, it may be cheap and in Paris but that is no excuse for such a lack of basic cleanliness.
"Find Somewhere Else To Stay"
I would only come back to this hotel if I was very, very, desperate! Bottom line is, I wasn't expecting a 4 star hotel or anything, but this place is pretty bad! Thankfully we were only there to sleep & take a quick shower & get out!

Holes in the sheets, broken showerhead, hole in the floor, deadbolt on room door didn't work. Room didn't seem to be cleaned - although the bed was made up - during our stay. Still, it was cheap and very, very convenient for the Eurostar.

When arrived we was presented with a dirty room, in which rubbish was on the floor and the bed wasnt made. The receptionist answer to this was "How can this be possible?" Eventually after a long debate we had our room cleaned and enjoyed our stay

Beware do not book on this hotel, we were here for 4 night of misery ,close to the train station but not enough to consider this hotel.I'm not very particular with hotel,but this is worst dirty carpet,smelly pillow,moldy carpet and wall .very very small room. bathroom clog ,shower room very slow drainage this is worst .I'm afraid to stay in this hotel […] .Lead poisoning is possible paint is chipping. "Hotel Paris Liege - rather too dirty"
My room was just about OK - clean, but with an odd hole in the floor under the carpet and a broken toilet seat. Bed was a little odd - did it have a plastic sheet on? The stairs were in a disgusting condition, seriously needing cleaning. Walls thin, so that there was a lot of noise from the other rooms and hall and stairs.

Hotel is very ordinary. Not worth even one third the price , I was charged. Lady receptionist was worst behaved,I have ever seen in any hotel world wide.Breakfast was nothing more than bread and juice/Coffee. Only saving grace was it's vicinity to "Gare Du Nord " Station. I will never advice any body this hotel.
"BED BUG CITY"
Stayed 2 nights at the Hotel Paris Liege. Front desk person was friendly and spoke English. Stayed in room 313. Door handle was shaky. Room was just standard and small. Bath room was nicer than the bedroom. On second night noticed bug going across bed. Pulled off blanket , then noticed another and then another. In all I killed at least 15 unwanted visitors. […] Slept fully clothed, wrapped up in a sheet. This is by far the WORST hotel experience I have ever had. Kept suitcases zipped and everything off the floor. "Not my best night noise-wise"
Wanted an inexpensive hotel near Gare du Nord to spend one night and this one fit the bill. I couldn't ask for a more convenient location for proximity to the station. The room was fine --not particularly fancy or pretty, but not cramped either. Two complaints. First, though there is an elevator, it starts halfway between the main floor and the first […] floor and stops between floors as well. It's probably the smallest elevator I've ever used and it's opens to a winding staircase. So getting on and off with luggage is not simple. Fortunatley I am young enough and strong enough to manage my heavy suitcase and carry ons, but I wish I hadn't had to. Second, the noise. The walls are concrete and sound travels well between them. In most cases that wouldn't be a problem, but I had a couple next to me who were active from about 11 pm to 3 am and were making noises I would prefer not to hear. And in between they we talking a lot, which I could also hear. If you stay here, I hope you have quiet neighbors. Les mer

Very close to station and many restaurants nearby but inside the hotel needs good clean up and sound proofing. You can hear neighbours noise ie talking, shutting the doors,etc. Staff there is not kind and doesn't want to move to help when I had a problem with door key (card). "Not good at all"
I had two nights at Hotel Liege. Tthe key to my room didn't work at arrival and after waiting for 1 hour without anything happening I got a very small room. Cold water in the shower and plastic cover on my mattress. Wouldn't recommend at all!

"Hotel Parise Liege - convenient location"
The Hotel is next to Gard de Nord and is thus very well served by transport links [RER, Metro & Bus] to the main sights of Paris. We had a triple room [double bed & sofa bed] on the 1st floor. It was a small but functional room with a bathroom. Other rooms in the hotel were accessible by stairs or a small lift. The hotel breakfast comprises a continental […] breakfast of rolls and chocolate du pans, with coffee/tea/hot chocolate. The hotel is a little dilapidated but as a place purely to sleep it is adequate, with a good location. There are many places to eat & drink in the immediate vicinity , with excellent links to Paris sights eg bus outside direct to the Louvre; bus outside direct to Pantheon; 15 min walk to Sacre Cour; Gare de Nord metro. Pretty much as advertised, but be prepared for a musty, old Paris hotel. Front desk guy was nice & realtively helpful. You get what you pay for as far as Paris goes, and it isn't much. "Worse than unhelpful"
Arriving back in Paris after a month of touring, we arrived at the hotel. Finding no parking we inquired where a car park could be found. We were told to go to the tourism office at the train station and ask there. We requested a 5AM wake up call to catch a 5:40am shuttle to the airport. The wake up call never came. Stayed a couple of nights with my daughter. A little apprehensive after reading one or two reviews but was pleasantly surprised and have no complaints and would definitely stay here again. Our room was large, the bathroom was clean with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Continental breakfast not huge but adequate and of good quality. Each member […] of staff we met was pleasant and helpful. Paris is not cheap, it's a 2* hotel, and you could pay a lot more for not a lot better. There was no answer at the hotel when I called for the airport shuttle. I had to take a taxi. My room was ready a half hour after check-in, after I insisted to get in. The desk clerk left for dinner and locked the only door to the hotel. We were locked out. A couple was locked in the lobby for 20 mintues. It would have been terrible in a fire situation. "Only plus side is that it is opposite Gare Du Nord"
Room was on the 6th floor, one of three attic rooms on this floor. Basin in bathroom had no plug/sink strainer, so was very conscious of the open hole in the basin in case of dropping something in it! Bathroom was clean but unfortunately towels were old and tattered. One of the hinges in the cupboard was broken. Aircondition in the room was a big plus. […] The mattress protector was plastic so it was quite squeeky when you got under the bed sheets. Continental breakfast was good. Little English was spoken by the hotel staff. Great location & value if you are looking for a place to crash for a short stay. Friendly, helpfull staff. It's a short 10 minute walk from Gare de L'Est. It's a 100 yards from Gare du Nord and the train shuttle to C de G Airport. Metro & bus stops very close. A "Hop-on" tour bus stops across the street. Lots of reasonably priced restaurents close by. moldy shower curtain, mold in shower tile. Filthy blanket on bed first nite - didn't want to imagine what it might be. Got changed thank goodness......convenient location with lots of eateries near by but in a not-so-great neighborhood. Walking distance to Sacre Coeur & Moulin Rouge.
"Budget Conscious"
This hotel is for someone who is looking to find decent accomodations at a good price. Don't expect luxury but it does have airconditioning which is a huge plus for the summer months. It is very convenient to the Gare du Nord which is a major tranist stop for trains, metro, and bus. It is also a short bus ride away from the Gare de l'Est. Hotel was right across from Gare de Nord. Easy to find. Room was ok. I stayed one night. That's all I was looking for. I find Paris hotels are all pricey so I got what I expected. Felt safe
"Hotel Paris Leige - opp Gare Du Nord"
We (family of 3 incl 1 child) stayed one night at this hotel. The plus points are hotel location (just opp Gare Du Nord - which is mail railway station / junction / terminus for Paris) and the breakfast (nothing extra-oridinary, but what they provide is good). The minus points are (1) very poor & non-existent service and somewhat rude behaviour ; […] (2) the lift which is there is very small and an apology of a lift ; (3) no assistance is available for taking / bringing the luggage to/from the room ; (4) shockingly enough, the rooms are not provided with waste paper / trash baskets !!. In summary, please do avoid the hotel at all costs - as the good points do not make up for the bad points. We will surely not stay in this hotel. Les mer
"Very Basic but Great Staff"
For our one-night stay, the room was clean, comforter worn out and shabby, sheets clean, but stiff from the bleach. Convenient to Gare du Nord (directly across the street). Elevator was an issue, very small (one person, one bag only) was slow, and stopped between levels. You get what you pay for here, which is just a clean bed and good location to train […] station. However, staff was wonderful, multi-lingual, happy to refer good restaurants and watched our luggage! Plenty of restaurants in area and a quick hop on train to everywhere. "Hotel Paris Liege - only for the location"
The main point for this hotel, was its closeness (across the street) from Gare du Nord. I had a very short overnight layover in Paris and with the RER-B to CDG, it could not be beat. The hotel, the rooms, the carpets very, very much show their age and wear. The room (top floor) was hot, but cooled nicely overnight with the windows open and though at […] first I was unhappy with the furniture, a quick check confirmed that it was cleaned well. this hotel is in a god location if you are interested in go to the most famous turistic areas of Paris. Just a few steps of the trains station. But do not expect anything more than just a place to sleep and keep going.
