If you are looking for a nice hotel with high standard and good location in central Myrtle Beach, I can recommend this 5 star hotel. We also stayed at this hotel last summer for a few days and will also stay there again if we are going to Myrtle Beach.

"Lcation, Location, Location"
Beach Colony Myrtle Beach, SC was ON the beach, away from the bustle of the board walk and wonderful for the price! We had an ocean front guest suite and were pleasantly suprised by the size and full kitchen. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. "Beach Colony Resort- Convenient location"
My family and I rented a 2-bedroom condo at Beach Colony in Myrtle Beach. The condo was immaculate and it was just steps to the beach. Most of the attractions (Wonderworks, Ripley's attractions) were a short, 5-10 minute drive away. "Worst hospitatlity ever!"
The people at the front desk were the most rude people I have ever encountered during a stay at Myrtle Beach. The only employee who was polite was the housekeeper. When I checked out, they tried to charge me for phone charges for calls to the front desk. I'll never stay there again and I'll make sure all my friends know how rude they are.

VERY NICE HOTEL, I LOVED THE BEAUTIFUL SCENES FROM THE BALCONY. I WISH THIS WOULD HAVE BEEN A VACATION TRIP INSTEAD OF DEATH OF A FAMILY MEMBER. I WILL SURELY COME BACK FOR A VACATION STAY. THE ROOM WAS PERFECT, AND ENJOYED MY STAY.
"Thanksgiving stay"
My parents live in MB and we needed a place near to them. This hotel was a lovely surprise! We found the rooms to be clean, personalized by the time share owners and wonderful beach views. The staff was helpful. We will be back in the summer!

"great beach hotel"
The beachfront room on the 8th floor was perfect for the two of us. Everything was as good as... or better... than we expected for the reasonable rate we paid. We will be going back.

They have four. But if your not a owner you can only use two. They are slow, you will spend a great amount of time waiting on them. I prepaid for 5 nights, I left after 2. I didnot go there to wait on elevators all day.

"Great hotel but Horrible Experience"
I reserved a king suite in advance but when I arrived to check in I had to wait around in the lobby as the claimed they could not find my reservation....they magically found it minutes later. Then after waiting and walking in my room discovered it was a double and calls to correct did no justice. So even though my sleep would be horrible on the small […] bed I decided to make the best out of it and just went out only to find out upon returning later that evening that I had no hot water. I called front desk and was told maintenance would be back in the morning. Refusing to rest without washing my butt I was determined to do something....luckily I am very handy but unfortunately I had no tools. So with a butter knife and other items i found i was able to fill and turn on the water heater which I could tell was just put in. Definitely not the way I wanted to enjoy my vacation Les mer
"Needs updating"
The hotel its self is nice, clean, quiet ,and in a good location. The decore of the room is stuck in the mid 80s. The bath room was in need of new tub and tileing. I would stay here again but, if they updated they would have gotten a perfect score from me.

the Beach Colony was a very nice place to stay. It was clean and the towels were in swan shapes. The hotel staff was really great and friendly. I would not recomend eating the breakfast buffet, cooking for yourself or going to IHOP would be alot better. I will deffinatly consider staying here again.
""Nice Hotel Dirty Room""
The hotel was very nice. The room however was extremly dirty. Dust was hanging from the ceiling vents. There was busted tile in the bathroom. No telling what was harbouring in there. The cabinet door under the sink was off of it's hinges. Light bulbs were burned out. I guess that prohibited management from seeing the dust! Hopefully they will clean […] the place up. "Great room for the money"
I was quite pleased with the accomodations at Beach Colony Resort. The room was neat and clean; the view of the ocean was great; staff was helpful and courteous. There was a very nice breakfast buffet, reasonably priced. I would be happy to make a return to Beach Colony.
"Not too good"
We stayed in 2 bdrm condo, which wasn't kept up well - some hair in bath tubs, broken and missing wall outlet covers (a real danger when you stay with a child!), cracked and loose tile, etc. Interior pool is located within the compound and has no windows - quite gloomy. Another peculiar thing about this hotel is it's extremely slow elevators, it takes […] a lot of patience to get to the floor you need. We've seen worse places, but I don't think we'll stay here again. Les mer
"Awesome Place to Stay"
Loved staying here. Room was nice and quiet. The pools, hottubs, and lazy river were so much fun. We stayed for 6 nights and would definately go back next year.

Beach Colony well exceeded our expectations for the price we paid. Our room was very nice, beds were comfortable, only complaint is the shower got clogged easy and the shower curtain needed replaced. The view was great, and the beach, pool, and hottubs were wonderful! We will def. be back next year!

"Dirty Q tip"
The staff was very accommodating all throughout our stay and that helped a lot considering the quality of the room that we stayed in. We checked in around 11pm and the first upset was that there was no trolley to take the luggage upstairs to the room. Apparently they are only available during the day ...if that. Also, when we got to our floor it had […] a strange old food smell and a loud vent right outside our door. When we entered the room we couldn't hear the vent but the conditions were less than desired. There was an old sock behind one of the nightstands, a dirty q tip in the closet, hairs (not ours) in the bathtub and sink, and the towels looked a bit "off white." The view was wonderful and since we just stayed for a weekend it was bearable but I will not be staying there again. Les mer

"Good room for the money!"
At one time this was a very nice property. It's still nice but it just has some age on it. Overall the room met expectation for the price paid. I would not want to pay over $100 for this room during prime season. Hotel employees were helpful. Food was good from the pool/bar area.
Muy lindo el hotel, las habitaciones muy buenas, con sala aparte, terraza frente al mar, cocina e implementos de cocina y comedor, tiene piscinas y jacuzis descubiertoss y cubiertos, gimnasio; el servicio y la atención de la gente es excelente. La comida es buena, lamentablemente el café es feo, malo y caro.
