Stayed here with my daughter for a night before skiing at Killington. Room was fine, though it could have used a little better lighting. Pool was small but warm! And the breakfast was fine. Decent place to stay.

We stayed here New Year's Eve. We are a family of 5, 3 kids are under the age of 10. Bev helped us and the people serving breakfast could not do enough for us. There were several games that the kids could "check out" at the front desk. Breakfast included yummy Belgian waffles, yogurt, cereal and all the hot chocolate the kids could drink. The pool is […] small but the kids had a good time. The room was clean and comfortable. BTW, the hotel is next door to a large supermarket and many restaurants. We skiied at Okemo, it is 1/2 hour away. We would definitely stay again. Les mer

Motel Chain but very impressed, will definately look out for this chain if travelling in USA.. Excellent rooms. Rutland not the greatest of areas and hotel located in industrial/shopping areas. Free breakfast adequate

This hotel was wonderful...breakfast was delicious. The staff was very helpful in planning our daily activities.

Apart from the very noisy air con unit which was easy to turn off this was the best hotel we have stayed in for a long time. Staff were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the room spacious with comfortable furniture and lots of space. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Good size bathroom. Opposite a shopping plaza […] with supermarket and good sports shop amongst others. However this was far enough from hotel not to be a problem either from traffic or noise. Would highly recommend it at this time of year although in the heat of a good summer the noise from the air con could be a problem. Les mer

We generally find the Hampton Inn chain the best of its class. this was no exception. as it turned out, because of Hurricane Irene, we had to spend an additional night hunkered down in the hotel. The staff coyuld not have been more accomodating. they even found a discounted rate for us. The hotel has a small fitness room and a medium sized pool. The […] rooms are a good size. The breakfast is good and the selection varried to suit all tastes. The location is next to a mall and there a several decent restaurants nearby. I would recommend it highly. Les mer

When looking for a place to stay while visiting family we always debate; go cheap or not? We have decided that when traveling with 3 small kids all under the age of 10 it's worth it to pay $25-$40 a night more (compared to cheaper places). We get to go swimming and have an AWESOME breakfast!!!

Stay at the Hampton Inn Rutland. It's convenient, well-maintained, and is located in a convenient if not beautiful area. The WiFi is questionable.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. The help seemed to smoke outside the entrance to the elevator. It did not bother me, but they should be provided a space to smoke away from the guests. Nice place to stay.

Everything about the hotel was excellent - clean and comfortable. There is a shopping mall across the driveway within walking distance and another a short drive across the road. We'll be back!

A really nice and new hotel, comfortable beds, and very clean rooms, great breakfast service along with professional hotel service. Highly recommended.

My family are skiers, and I found out too late that I would be getting Christmas week off in order to book a hotel in Ludlow, Vermont, which is where Okemo; our favorite family ski mountian is, so I researched hotels.com, and came up with this place in Rutland. I'm glad I did. It's about the same distance between Killington Mtn. and Okemo, so you can […] really go to either one, and the hotel is located right along a shopping district, so alot of amenities are withing walking distance. We skiied at Okemo two days, so we stayed at the Hamtom two nights, then we traveled to Loon Mtn. and skied there a couple of days, but we were satisified with our stay so much, that we decided to stay an extra night at this hotel on the way back down south. Also we got an additional day in for skiing, and the free breakfast they provide is good enough to keep you satisfied until lunch time on the slopes. Les mer

We chose to stay in Rutland instead of in Killington after a day of skiing. It's really not far from the ski hill at all, and probably well worth it to save some money. It also meant that we were closer to the highway when we left the next day. The hotel is clean, well maintained with friendly staff. It was quite busy when we were there, so we could […] hear some activity in the hallways in the early morning, typical minimal sound-proofing for this kind of place. The rooms are spacious enough for 2 people, and there was plenty of room to hang out and be comfortable. While there are some stores around, like a grocery store and crafts store, there aren't many options for dining. A Taco Bell and pub were the only choices in the complex. We chose to drive to the area near the train station and ate at Little Harry's. The hotel served a decent breakfast and has a little convenience store, but it would be nice if it had a larger kitchen to handle even a limited room service menu. If ever in Rutland, we would stay here again. The price is fair for the area, and the hotel is clean and comfortable. Les mer

Building seemed fairly new and the decor was modern and felt warm. Room was large with plenty of space, but did not have the refridgerator we have come to expect from Hamptons. Breakfast was good and the location was close to shopping and dining. we would definitely stay there again.

We were thrilled with the Hampton Inn and will stay there every year as our layover in Rutland on our way to Smuggler's Notch. For about 3 years we stayed across the street at another Motel it was getting seedy. Hampton Inn was clean, fresh, the bedding was amazing. Definitely the best option.

Very nice for a moderate-price hotel. Beds were super comfortable!!

We were very pleased with the Hampton Inn in Rutland. Clean, comfortable, nice warm pool, very nice staff and a "continental " breakfast that was really great. More than we expected. !!

As far as hotels in Rutland go...this is the best one. It's clean, comfortable and pretty convenient to whatever your needs are in Rutland. If you're skiing its probably about 30 minutes or so away.

Nice place, would definitley stay again. Walking distance to shopping, for those who don't ski. Pretty much you can trust what you're getting when you stay at a Hampton Inn. The only downside to the area, restaurants close early unless you travel closer to the mountain.

I thought this was going to be one of those hotels on the side of the highway that was ok, but the room was nicer than some of the pricier hotels.

ich habe zum ersten Mal ein Hotel der Hampton Inn-Kette besucht und war überrascht von der Freunlichkeit des Personals, der Sauberkeit und vor allem vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Ein wirklich gutes Hotel, vor allem für Familien mit Kindern.
