The hotel is very nice indeed,. however having stayed at many hotels in Gmh group including Datai and Chedi, have to sayit is not up there withthem. I was particuarly hacked off at the poor command of English ofmany of staff. If they are charging $750 pernight it has to be expected staff have command of English. I found taxi drivers and workers in Hoi […] An were more conversant.. Ordering at restaurants was painful! The prices are astronomical, $10 for a bottle of local water. This is Vietnam for goodness sake! I took a look at dinner menu and thought better of it. So did most other guests. The restaurant was cirtually empty when we returned from Hoi An at 9.30pm. The rooms are more style over function. Look nice on check in, but frankly not very practical. It isa 20 minute drive to Hoi An. The shuttle service is cynically timed to ensure popping in for dinner is not an option, buttaxis are cheap and plentiful. There and back for price of bottle of water! I would not stay here again. Apart from the cost, it just didnt feel right. Vietnam is no Mauritius and this hotel does fit in. Save your money, enjoy Vietnam for being Vietnam and save your money for luxury in Thailand or Mauritius. Les mer

Wonderful luxury hotel very conveniently located for Hoi An visits on their shuttle bus.Exceptional service. Great food in restaurants. The villas are huge and very comfortable and clean.The pool sides (3 pools in total) are beautiful . I could find no fault other than price but will return.

We stayed for 4 nights over Tet holiday in the 2 bedroom villa, which was amazing. 2 huge rooms and a separate living room large pool and garden is really stunning. We stayed with 2 small children and although stunning rooms are not designed with children in mind. A lot of steps and steep drops, so we spent a lot of time running after them. very few hotels manage to combine first class personal service, luxuriously appointed accomodation and fantastic facilities with such an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. we were looking for a little and found it. hugely expensive, but worth every penny.

The hotel is on a spectacular stretch of beach with 3 most amazing infinity pools that disappear into the sea! The service is fantastic and the staff can't seem to do enough for you The room was truly breathtaking and we were ocean front! The real negative is that there are steps throughout the gigantic room that I tripped over several times. The bed […] is on a large platform and one side of the bed is recessed far from the edge making getting in and out of the bed quite a maneuver especially during the night. On top of that you had to negotiate 3 steps to the bathroom. Flashlight was very handy. I also felt the food is expensive for Vietnam but not other similar caliber resorts in other locations. Breakfast and lunch were superb but dinner felt diminished as far as range of choices and quality. The town is charming but we really wanted to relax so we mostly stayed at the hotel. Les mer

We had a very relaxing 11 night stay at this resort and found the staff to be very caring and accommodating. The pool areas are amoung the best we have experienced. The outlook from the resort is also very beautiful.

This is a beautiful concept on a beautiful beach with a very attentive staff close to interesting things to do...however...This hotel is very very expensive and did not live up to it's promise. Although the rooms were beautiful, they were very uncomfortable with many levels and poor lighting...up to bed, on your knees to slide under your legs under […] the desk, down 4 steps to the sitting area, up a step from the bed to the bath in the room and then to the shower room... Neither restaurant had high quality food or choice. It was regular restaurant food...nothing creative or special and some of it was overcooked and some of it was really not very good at all. We were surprised that tour groups stayed at the hotel. It certainly did not present as a tour hotel. The staff were very helpful and attentive without being overbearing although there was allot of new staff who were not as well trained as the more experienced staff, So generally...too expensive for what it was supposed to be and tried to be...but a lovely beach and interesting area. Un hotel que realmente vale la pena, es caro, pero disfrutas cada minuto de la estadía. Recomiendo ampliamente la villa con alberca privada (incluye desayuno, que es increible, alcohol y todo el minibar) Ideal para lunamieleros.
