"visit to Ithaca to visit our son at Cornell Univer"
The photo of the hotel led me to believe it was more of a stand alone Inn. In fact we almost pasted it because the photo shown was of the interior court yard and not seen from the road. We called to find out the address as i left the confirmation paper home. The gentleman on the phone was RUDE, NASTY and when we asked him for the address he told me […] to "look at your confirmation". Being we did not have it we asked again and he mumbled an address which was incorrect. Finally at checkin George Crawford snapped at ne, thrust a paper for me to sign while slamming a pen down also. In addition he yelled at me "Of your with Cornell..there ruining my day." However, Holly was a doll and she stried very hard to make us feel welcomed un like Gearge Crawford. I have never been treated in that manner by anyone in the hotel industry in my life. Same on him. The Inn should reconsider his position there and promote Holly instead. Les mer

"Great location!!"
Close to the colleges, food places, and town. Was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Offers a light continental breakfast but we had a morning event at Ithaca college so did not check out the hotels food display. Will definitely stay here again.

"Motel 6 quality with Hilton Garden pricing"
This hotel should be condemned. Hotel.com should be ashamed for representing this early 50's throw back to motor hotels. I'll never trust your ratings again nor will I use your service. Awful, Awful place. Shame on you. I was begining to look for Norman Bates.....

"Close and clean enough"
It was very close to the bus depot, which was a plus. The room was fairly clean, though it did smell like cigarette smoke. When I booked the room, I paid a little extra for the 'bigger room' that supposedly had a mini fridge and a microwave. When I arrived, not only wasn't there a fridge or microwave, there wasn't even a clock! Since I only needed it […] to sleep for a few hours, it was reasonably clean and decently priced, but, if you plan on staying much longer, I'd suggest a different hotel. Les mer

Run down and just nasty. The carpeting was old and faded, bathroom floor not completely cleaned, bathroom sink formica had chunks of formica missing, rust streaks in bathroom mirror, no Internet despite assurances beforehand, window AC was falling apart with pieces missing. At night you could see huge cracks between door and frame making us afraid to […] leave belongings in the room. Apparently, there are some "renovated" rooms and when we went to the front desk and explained that we would never again stay at the hotel, she answered that "our" problem was that we booked through the Internet and we should have called directly. Asked for a non-smoking room - response was we will see what we can do. Room clearly was used frequently for smoking. Everything was old and not refurbished in more than thirty years. Clean? Ordered non-smoking but got smoking room. Had to get it switched. Front desk staff is impatient with attitude problems. Overheard receptionist arguing with a guest over the phone and hanging up on them. For the same price or a little more, do yourself a favor and stay at a national brand.

All fine. Nice, clean, convenient hotel. Pricey given the location and relative lack of "extra" amenities, but I think that is a function of limited supply in Ithica.

This is motel, not the hotel, the price is away to high.I do not recommend to anybody.
"no frills but great!"
We thought we were going to be roughing it in this hotel, but that was not the case. It was a slow time so the desk attendant suggested he upgrade our room for no cost. A common complaint I read about was lousy internet service but that was not our experience at all. It was a great find for the price. I would stay there again for sure.

Pretty much what you'd expect from a cheap motel. Pretty basic but clean. Right across from supermarket but about 15 mins from Commons. Asked for non smoking room but it stunk of cigarettes

"Cheap, clean & easy"
This is definitely not a 5 star hotel, but given the price was a great choice. It's older, and a little shabby, but the staff were nice, we had no issues during check in, and the rooms were clean. Overall a perfect choice for our one night trip.

For the price this hotel was simply OUTSTANDING. Upon arrival the front desk upgraded me to their finest suite.

I would not stay at this hotel again. we were woke up by the maids talking , very loudly, outside our window. it stopped only when I banged on my window. And only for about 10 min, when it started again. Also, our power went out. It smelled. The bathroom was nasty.

"Yiu get what you pay for"
Its often difficult to get a decent room in Ithaca, at a decent price.. The Meadow Court is okay if you get their so called deluxe (inside) rooms. The rooms are large, although they have not been remodeled since the Truman administration. The wifi only works if you get a room close to the checking area. No luxury here, just a place to sleep. filed my reservation under my email couldn't find for an hour. tried to kick me out after 1 day reservation paid for two days I shall never use this motel or hotels.com again.
Outside is a bit deceiving hotel seems a bit worn on the exterior and a bit challenging to find, sign is small. The sheets were a bit worn but the room was comfortable and very clean.

My son goes to college in Ithaca and I like to visit him but I do not like to waste money on a bed and shower. This is an OK place. You can walk to the commons in about 7 minutes and get a bit of exercise. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower was fine. The internet worked. The room temperature was fine but I didn't see a regulator so if […] you are hot you have to open a window. The walls are a bit thin so if you have noisy neighbors it could be a problem. A pretty standard hotel. Good for it's cheap price. Close to a mall area, Wegman's (grocery store), some restaurants.

"Not a good stay"
Beds were so small, husband and I had to sleep in separate beds. Wall paper is peeling of the wall in large clumps, food and paper on the side of the bed on the floor. Advertised free wifi, but the router didn't work right and there was no signal so we could not use it during the stay. The location was convenient, but we could have went down the road […] a little, spent fifteen more dollars and got a much cleaner, more comfortable room. Les mer

The staff was courteous and pleasant and made a special effort ot accomodate our need for a first floor, readily accessible room. The restaurant was very close and the food was decent there. "Don't believe the advertising..."
... there was, in fact, no wireless (or any other) internet available from my room. I called the front desk and she said that internet wasn't guaranteed and that if I needed to use the internet, I could come to the lobby where the signal is strong. The desk clerk the next day told me that if I wanted internet access, I should have upgraded to a deluxe […] room. Or something like that. Les mer

"Ok if you are desperate"
I booked a room for my husband and I here because it was inexpensive and seemed close to the commons. Bad decision. Although the woman at the front desk was nice, we walked into our room and immediately out and booked with a different hotel. The room was so dirty and did not look like it had been clean; hair was all over the bathroom. I guess if you're […] desperate it would do the job.
