Støy fra 6 om morgenen til 11 på kvelden fra t-banen de bygger rett utenfor. Men New York er jo mye støy...Natten var stille. Sengene var så harde. Dbl sengen bare 120 bred. Men fantastisk å ha en hel leilighet i new york. Reiste med barn. Kjempegod komfort foruten de harde sengene. Moderne stil og nytt og fresht.

Fin beliggenhet, hyggelig personale. Frokosten var bra, varier veldig om det er fullt i spisesalen eller ikkes,avhenger av hva klokken er. Wifi på rommet,samt pc disponibel i fellesareal. Gratis kaffe og annen varm drikke 24/7. Hotellet har en slags turistinformasjon i lobbyen, hvor man kan få hjelp til det meste.

Enkelt og greit hotell med veldig store rom til å være Manhatten. Vi var tilbake for andre gang på 5 mnd. Denne gangen var vi noe mer uheldig enn sist. Badet var litt mer slitt og en ettermiddag hadde vi ikke varmt vann. Siste morgenen var frokosten flyttet til et rom pga vedlikehold av frokostsalen men der virket ingenting.

Ganske trivelig hotell til en fabelaktig pris. Badet var rent og pent, men tror det ble støvsuget mest på midten av det gamle teppegulvet... det lå igjen en tannpirker på gulvet ved sengen etter forrige gjest (eller han før der igjen, hva vet jeg). Lot den ligge for å se om den ble fjernet, men den lå der fremdeles da jeg dro etter en uke... måtte drepe to kakkerlakker på størrelse med et lite barn det første døgnet, men etter at jeg satte i badekarproppen forsvant problemet... helt greit hotell for den gjerrige gjest, rett ved Time's Square. Hotellrestauranten er dyr og dårlig, så jeg anbefaler å spise et annet sted.

Dette hotellet har en helt grei standard med romslige rom, godt renhold og hyggelig service. Gangavstand fra Time Square og Penn Station. Like ved flere subway-linjer. De kan servere frokost, men det er fine tilbud i området for både frokost og middag.

"Nice, clean hotel, New York"
I did a serious research of central hotels for a week holiday in New York, and we were not disappointed. We had booked a Evolution room with King size bed which did not include city view. We asked anyway at check in and were more than happy with a room at 17th floor! The room had good space for two, with nice and comfortable bed, nice bathroom with […] a bath tub, and new clean towels every day. I am a bit anxious about any bugs, and in particular bedbugs, but we did not experience any of them after a week stay, so this hotel is safe on that matter! :) We liked the idea of having an empty fridge available in our room - we bought drinks at Wholefoods not far away so we had cold refreshments of our own choice available after hours of walking in the city. Subway were close to the hotel, and Madison Square Garden, Macy's, and Times Square were within walking distance. We preferred to go out for breakfast, but the last day we eat at the hotel and were happy with their various selection for breakfast. I would not go to New York to stay inside a hotel, but I do anyway appreciate the availability to relax in the hotel after hours of walking, and perhaps refresh before evening events. This was a pleasure at this hotel which we really enjoyed. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who plan their vacation in New York, and would definitely go back. Les mer
"Bra service og fin beliggenhet"
Mitt andre opphold i New York. Hotellet ligger fint til i Chelsea og det er kort vei til de fleste severdigheter. Veldig bra service for oss, bra størrelse på rommene men kanskje litt lytt. Ellers absolutt ingenting å klage på.

Meget sentralt hotell, kort gangavstand til det meste (subway, jernbanestasjon, severdigheter). Meget serviceminded personale. Rengjøring hver dag. Kommer til å bruke hotellet ved neste annledning.

"More good than bad"
Well renovated hotel, very clean. The queen beds were not good for two people, they were not firm. The refrigerator and the air condition made a lot of noice. Beside these, the personel very friendly and good reasonable price for Manhattan.

Very convenient to Chelsea Galleries and High Line. 1 block to subway. Room was clean and sunny. Will definately stay at hotel again if rate is competitive.

The room was very clean and actually larger than most hotel rooms in New York, if you care about that sort of thing. Hotel staff was nice and allowed me to check in early, which was a huge convenience for me. Neighborhood is great, close to the subway and walking distance to everything. The beds were VERY comfortable. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and helpful. The only problem that we had was the heat. There was no low or automatic off setting working. We had to open the window and keep turning the heat on and off.

"Good stay at a very nice hotel."
My wife and I came up for the weekend and overall enjoyed our stay at this hotel. IT was very clean and ideally located near MSG and the train/bus stops into the city. The room wasnt very big but that wasnt a big deal being that we only slept in the room. One negative was that the heater sounded like the furnace from the Christmas Story. Super comfy beds. It's in Chelsea but on the cusp of flatiron district with it's shopping, restaurants, etc. Lots of stuff to do in walking distance.

"Enjoyable stay."
Our stay at this hotel was enjoyable. My only complaint is that the sheets are skimpy - small for the beds - and they kept slipping off. A relatively minor thing but, when you're having to deal with it every night, a nagging one. Overall the staff was pleasant and helpful. The neighborhood was fine and convenient to trains.

You can't beat this hotel - location, price, comfort - while staying in NYC. It's off the main street so you don't get a lot of road noise, which is great. We've stayed on the upper-West side in previous visits to NYC, but after staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, we definitely would return. Rooms were clean, not spectacular. No closet, but there is a hutch to hang clothes and place shoes. Only time we needed service, we asked for an extra blanket. Within 3 minutes, it was at our door. Friendly staff. "Non-smoking room reserved, smoking room provided"
Reserved a non-smoking room at this hotel overnight via hotels.com after watching a broadway show. There are only 2 elevators in this hotel and they are slow. Was given a smoking room with no explanation on the highest floor - realized it was a smoking room when i went in after waiting for the elevator for 20 mins. Was told hotels.com reservation is […] not guaranteed non smoking. Severely allergic to cigarette smoke odor, very unhappy, did not sleep a wink that night - will never stay at this hotel again. Nothing negative to say about this hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. On weekends you can park anywhere in front of the hotel, which is a great perk in NYC!

The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the location was convenient to Times Square. We even found street parking was free on the weekends which was another bonus. The hotel was ok overall. There was what sounded like an alarm near by that kept going off which kept me awake for the better part of the night. If u are not a light sleeper then it won't be an issue. Rooms are small but that is to be expected since you are in manhattan. The people in the room next to me decided one night to constantly slam their door […] but they stopped after I knocked on their door and spoke to them. Overall decent place and close to everything. "Hilton Garden Inn - adequate - in a positive way"
The hotel is fine, very clean, we found it convenient to get around as there are two subway lines within a block or two. The service was excellent. Very friendly. Good breakfasts, lots of choice. Small rooms. Saying it was adequate only because we usually stay at a higher end hotel, but for New Years in NYC, this was just right budget.

The overall experience is very good, a very clean hotel, because I am not familiar with the average pricing of Hotels in NYC, but still think the price might be a little too high for the size of the room. Whenever I live in Hotels, cleaning people throw the garbage in trash cans, or obvious empty snack bags!!! But why would you throw away the things I placed on the table???why would you even throw away the brand new gift boxes??why would you throw away the receipts putting together on the table???? They may look trash to you, but you CANNOT!!! throw away whatever you want!!!! The room is small, where should I place them???? I call the room service and they asked me to left a message with the cleaning service. nobody came and explain where my stuff went and no one said a word on that....Very upset about this....But the overall stay was nice. will go back again and tell the cleaning people not to throw anything except those in trash can!!! as is the trend these days, the halls and room were quite small, but everything was clean, the lobby was very nice, and the staff very friendly. There's a subway stop a block away, and a Five Guys around the corner.

Everything was great at the Hilton Garden Inn Chelsea, convenience, the breakfast, location, etc. However we booked thru Hotels.com a non smoking room and when we arrived the desk clerk told us our room was non smoking, and that there was different floor for smoking. When we got to the room it smelled like smoking. We had to go out, so didnt have time […] to dwell on it. But the next morning I asked again and was informed that this was a smoking room. This was upsetting. They would not switch us claiming no more rooms and saying a non smoking room isnt a guarantee. Les mer
