The room was what we expected for the price. Didn't expect a microwave or a fridge but a hairdryer would have been nice.

We stayed here as one of our spots on our roadtrip and it was great! The front desk guy was really nice and helpful. It wasn't in the nicest neighborhood but it was really close to downtown Nashville which is what we wanted. I would definitely stay again.

We only stayed for one night, the room was clean & the staff great..maybe 5 min ride to downtown.. $12..was the cab ride cost not bad... we would stay again

Rodeway Inn is outdated and lacking some common amenities such as an alarm clock, iron, hair dryer, facial tissue and even separate shampoo and conditioner. The room was clean on the surface, but was overall dingy and stained. I booked a smoking room, but there was no ashtray. Interestingly, the desk clerk practically quoted some of the bad reviews […] I myself had read before booking, attempting to disqualify them, as he was checking me in. The neighborhood is really sketchy, and those with no experience in a large city and "bad" neighborhoods should be more than cautious. Four or more police cars were leaving the hotel when i was returning late from my night out. It was disconcerting. I have a feeling this is a local "hook-up" hotel for secretive or risky encounters. There was no one at the desk when i checked out, just a note and piece of paper asking guests to sign their room number and toss tge key behind the desk. That was a first for me ever. It may be close to downtown, but spend a little more or drive a little farther if you want comfort in both your stay and personal safety. Les mer

I'm glad that we only stayed one night. The room was dirty, and the beds were very uncomfortable. It was in a bad neighborhood. I would not have gone anywhere at night around the hotel. The bathroom was gross too. Did not shower.

Next time we'll choose to spend a little more and stay at a more popular chain.

Got a good deal for a two-night weekend stay, but I wish I'd shelled out a few extra bucks for a better place in a better part of town. Motel actually rests off the street, the front obscured by a very busy liquor store. The motel itself is in poor condition. The outdoor swimming pool was unclean to say the least. The room itself was cramped and looked […] as though nothing had been updated or repaired in a very long time. Cigarette holes in the blankets. Old tube TV. Very noisy heater/AC. A toilet that would run constantly unless you stood around for a minute then jiggled the handle, etc etc. The one saving grace was the politeness of the man at the front desk. Will definitely NOT stay here again, and will probably never stay at any other Rodeway Inn if I can help it. Les mer

Checked in a non smoking room and it just smells off smoke. Hotel staff is very nice but unfortunately the rooms are old and the smell is in the carpet and walls. If you are a smoker this hotel is fine for the price otherwise stay away

OK for sleeping, wifi only worked part time and room was tiny as were the pillows. Would probably choose a different place but couldn't argue with the price.

Maybe not the best neighborhood but it was exactly what we needed. Bed, shower, free breakfast. No major complaints. Friendly staff. Pets welcome.

The motel was fine--the room was nothing special, but it was clean (very small.) The beds/pillows were comfortable. The furnishings were outdated, but we were only there to sleep. The reception clerks were very friendly and accommodating. We didn't feel unsafe in the area, but that being said, probably would not recommend venturing out at night. The […] motel is right near a nightclub of questionable clientele. There are nearby restaurants in walking distance, including a fabulous BBQ place, so that was a bonus. Hotel was a total dump!! Could not even stay there just took a chance and drove home. Shingles coming off roof, place just looked horrible. Does not look anything like picture. I do not recommend this hotel at all!!

Location was close to my destination. A no frills, good for a nights sleep and shower kind of hotel.

Simple and clean. Good for what a hotel is meant for - sleeping. Coffee pot but no fridge or microwave. Area did not seem like one I would walk around in. Only $10 pet fee. Walking distance to Waffle House.

The staff was wonderful. I needed to fax a document to my new apartment complex out of town or I would not have been able to get into my new home and the clerk at the front desk helped me print and fax it over very quickly. They were very friendly and very helpful and I would definitely return here.

Room had a very old and musky smell to it. Wasn't very clean at all and everything in the room from a to z was out dated. The people in the room next door to us was fighting all night long before and after the cops showed up. When you hear that until 3 am it makes for a long next day. When checking out the following morning I was asked how my stay was […] to which I told them about the couple fighting and the cops being called. Only response I got was that they wouldn't be staying any longer. Like that would really help me! Only thing I will say is spend a few extra bucks to avoid the out dated filth that the hotel brings. The motel was close to freeway but not noisy; the desk clerk was welcoming and helpful; room clean; secure; hot water; clean bed, working tv...it was all I needed for the economical price

Sketchy area. Continental breakfast was a joke. Orange juice/water machine didn't work. Had cheerios and frosted flakes and a weird pitcher of milk looking thing in the fridge. no idea how long it had been there. bread and jam. Well lit, but didn't feel safe.

The staff was very pleasant, the room was just ok, a little small. Thankful that they did accept pets. Once you check in and get situated in your room, good idea not to leave, not a safe feeling area.

The room was nasty. My mattress had so many stains that it made me sick to my stomach once I noticed it. The bathroom toilet had urine stuck to the bottom of the toilet. When I asked the house keeping man to come in a look he bent down and said this is old dust and wiped it with his finger it was wet, I told him it was urine and he agreed he wiped his […] hand on my dirty towel that was on the floor and then left. The hotel was one of the worst I've seen in my many 64 years of travel. I didn't expect a lot for the price, but the bathroom was dirty, not enough towels and washclothes, no hot water.

I booked this room for a friday night. Then I looked at the reviews. I was disapointed in most of the reviews. But too late, I had already paid. I got there at 10:30 pm friday night. The clerk was very polite. I got the key pass and I went to my room. When I opened the door it smelled fresh and was very clean. All of the amenities were there. The room […] was clean and the hair dryer worked as did the TV and coffee maker. The bed was low to the floor and not like one at the Hilton but was comfortable enough to get some needed rest. There was no outside noises or any people hanging around outside. There was a continental breakfast which included 2 types of cereal, donuts, toast, jelly, coffee, juice, tea, milk. Not elaborate but for the price it was sufficient. I can't say anything about the pool, or anything else that is on the listing because all I did was sleep eat and get back on the road. Hotel is a little out of town and nothing to do round and about. However, very good value for money and the service was excellent. We couldn't get a taxi on CMA awards night, and the reception went out of their way to help. All in All a good little hotel - and so much cheaper than most places in NAshville

This a decent hotel for an inexpensive stay in Nashvile. Very close access to the Interstate and quick access to many attractions. There is ample free parking and the staff was friendly. The room is basic but is sufficient if you don't plan on spending a great deal of time in it.

This is not a hotel-it's a motel. Outside access to rooms.Good location, Motel is only a short distance to all of the great Nashville attractions.5 minute drive to downtown !! Right off 1-65/1-24.Walking distance to food places. Motel is old and needs updates, but is clean and has a single cup coffee maker . The room was very very small although it was clean. The phone did not work and the internet did not work outside of the lobby. I was there for an entire afternoon and it was a lovely warm day. The pool was closed for the winter and there were 2 white plastic chairs in the pool area. I asked if I could take one of the chairs to sit outside and was told […] no. There was no reason diven. The hotel was just right for our needs. We went to a concert and just needed a place to sleep before the long drive home the next day. It is worn and older, but the bed was comfortable and bed clothes felt clean. There were not any extras such as shampoo and conditioner or breakfast. There is a Waffle House across the street for breakfast.

This place is a cheap stay and right off 24, 3 miles or so from downtown Nashville. Only used the room for sleeping. I've stayed in a couple hotels in this area, probably the least sketchy, but still. I'm probably just going to pony up the dough for a nicer place next visit.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean room, A/C doesn't re-cycle off and on, 12 min to downtown, cable TV. Con: WiFi often had to be rebooted at the office, light mgf and low income housing in the area limited things to do nearby such as restaurants/bars, facial tissures would have been nice in the room, "breakfast" was limited (cofffee, orange juice, milk, 2 […] cereals, toast/bread, and "little Debbie" style powdered donuts. TV was quirky. Everytime you turned the set off, you would have to manually use the buttons on the TV to change the channel to #3 before using the remote to get to the station desired. Les mer

We had a decent stay. The hotel was clean and quality of service was good. The surrounding area just felt really unsafe and lots of loud noise, sirens, etc. Overall we were pleased.

Appreciate the helpfulness of staff. Probably will not stay here again due to location and lack of places to eat within walking distance. Also had to park a long way from my room.

For the price it was ok, location is good cause there is gas food and the express way near. The service was ok only thing I didn't like was u have to reset ur lights in the bathroom so they work and the tv/remote combo is awful. I would book here again anytime im in the area.
