Fint hotell med renslige rom og god service. Maten kom raskt opp til rommet etter bestilling. Veldig greit med kun fem min shuttlebuss fra hotellet til flyplassen ved tidlig flyavgang.

Helt greit hotell. Madrassene er veldig harde, nesten som å ligge på gulvet. Perfekt beliggenhet midt på Repeerbahn, men till tross for det var det ikke støy inne på hotellet.

Very nice hotel. High standards on just about everything. The staff was very friendly, polite and helpful. Nice good size rooms. Very cean and pleasant. good air conditioning. the trattoria in the street on the back side of the hotel is highly recommended.some might dont like the street leading down to the main train station ( erotic videostores etc), […] but no one there bothered us. The area on the back side of the hotel, leading down to the Alster, was very pleasant. you can find lots of nice restaurants and stores there. the area just around the Alster is also very nice. This was a great hotel experience for us. We will undoubtedly choose this hotel again the next time we´re in Hamburg if we can. Highly recommended Les mer

Ikke noe negativt å utsette på hotellet! Litt shady strøk, men kun 1 min fra t-banen og 4-5 min gange til sentralstasjon og hovedgata! Absolutt verdt prisen!

Et av de bedre hotellene vi har bodd på, og det sier ikke lite. Oppgraderte rommet for en billig penge og vi hadde vel nesten 30 kvm. tilgjengelig. Flott rom med det meste. Strøket rundt er ikke av de fineste, men helt greit. 8 min. å gå til Hauptbanhof og derifra er man jo rett inn i handelegatene. De sex butikkene som lå rundt var til liten sjenansje. "New and fresh hotel in dynamic neighborhood"
Besides the queue at check-in, absolutely no reason to complain about the hotel and location. The hotel is new, fresh and modern with large rooms. Very clean. Be aware that hotel is next to quite busy road, but noise should not be a problem unless you have a room at the front of the hotel. The hotel is ideally located for younger travellers (20-35 […] years of age), and is about 10 minute walk east of the central station. The area is not posh at all, but is vibrant and dynamic with good restaurants and shops. The shops are not high street, but appeals to those looking for something "one-of-a-kind". Mostly Italian and Asian restaurants, and eating a late breakfast at a local cafe is strongly recommended. These can mostly be found along the street Lange Reihe In short, think Meatpacking district in New York meets London's East End (Spitafields, Brick Lane). Hamburg is recommended. Rubin is a excellent choice for a stay in Hamburg. 7 min walk to central station where the city centre "begins". Metro just a block away from the hotel. Ps! There's a very nice bar at the hotel. And a good italian restaurant just five minutes away. Ask the desk; they know about it (recommended it for us)

This is a very nice hotel. Great security. A knockout breakfast buffet included with room. Only place I have stayed where the breakfast starts a 6:30 and ends at 11:30. Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the breakfast. The street is lined with trees and ultrawide sidewalks. If you are offended by porn shops, walk on the curb side of the trees. The hotel is a convenient choice for people traveling by train to Hamburg on a short stay, since it's close to the train station. It's also close to the center, though at the limits of a more popular district. For the money it's probably one of the best hotels in Hamburg. The only complain is the bed: there are no double beds! Was very satisfied w/the hotel until I went to check out. The desk clerk insisted that I pay for the breakfast buffet (which I had thought was included). She finally backed off when I showed her a printed copy of the reservation from Hotels.com. It didn't state "breakfast included" but, as she admitted, it didn't show that it WASN'T included.

Excellent hotel, great first impression and it didn't disappoint. We stayed in a double room facing the front of the building. The room was very big and we couldn't hear any noise even if it was quite a busy street. The shower was very good and even though there wasn't wifi in the room, you could use the computers downstairs or use the wifi in the lobby […] etc. The location was very convenient - close to the centre and only one U-bahn stop away from central station - so not too close to the sex shops next to the central station!! It's got an U-bahn and S-bahn (Berliner Tor, which takes you directly to the airport) stop very close by. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel but there were plenty of supermarkets (Lidl just opposite, plus Real and Bio-company) and cafés in the area. Les mer

The hotel is convenient to the center of the city, just a few blocks on foot, but truly convenient to whole city via the U1, including the airport. The interior is quite new and very nice, beds are great, rooms are roomy. Service is quick and complete. Fabulous in all respects. Clean and comfortable and quiet. Cheerful staff who did all they could when our baggage failed to arrive due to airline chaos in the very cold weather. The onsite restauant offered excellent meals at a reasonable price, even on Christmas Day! Free internet and wi-fi in the reception area even worked! "don't worry about it's location"
The hotel was withing a short walk to the main station and not much further to the centre of town. There is an Aldi supermarket opposite which was ideal for bits and pieces for your room and great value. Some sex shops 500 meteres or so but these are not a problem. The metro was 3 mins walk so all in all very good value in all respects. "Nice affordable hotel close to the central station"
The hotel is modern, rooms were clean and spacious, staff were helpful, beds were comfortable. The other reviews seem to suggest that the area is a bit seedy, but it's not that bad. Aside from a few scattered sex clubs and porn theaters, the street is clean, there are normal shops in between, and it's pretty safe. The location is fairly convenient, […] only about 10 minutes walk to the Hauptbahnhof. Taxis pass regularly, and there's a U-bahn station nearby. I would stay here again, for sure. The only hiccup for us was the fact that we were suprised to be charged for breakfast upon checkout, at 17€ each. When we checked in, we were told when and where breakfast was served, but not that it wasn't included. When we showed up for breakfast, they just took our room number down, but nowhere was a price displayed. I guess we just assumed it was included. (They could do a better job of telling you.) But in any event, you get your money's worth for 17€; it's a fairly decent breakfast. Les mer

Got a great rate at this hotel and it was a very comfortable, modern and sylish hotel that is close to the central station and a 10 minute walk to the Alster. Some parts of the surrounding neighbourhood are sketchy with sex shops etc. but the main road into the city centre is absolutely fine. Don't use the phone in the room, the rates are exorbitant […] even for a hotel! Les mer

"Hidden costs"
This hotel was very nice but the only complaint I have is about hidden charges. I thought that breakfast was included in my booking and when i came to the breakfast room in the morning, they ticked my name off the list, not mentioning anything. When checking out, I was told that breakfast was not included in my booking and that the buffet costs €17 […] per person !!!! It is extremely over priced and I would suggest avoiding this expensive breakfast. They provide a slow speed LAN internet connection but if you want a high speed wireless connection, you have to pay extra. Otherwise, the hotel was very comfortable. Les mer

Alt i alt et rigtig godt besøg, beliggenhed 100 meter fra U-Bahn station er ideel - især kombineret med Hovedbanegården 5 min væk. Vi boede på 7. sal og vendte ud mod den trafikkerede gade, derfor var der en del trafiklarm for det følsomme øre. ikke en lyd fra de omkring liggende værelser. Nogle skriver at det er et lettere kulørt område, det er det […] i og for sig også men der er altid mennesker og politistation lige overfor så absolut ingen grund til at være nervøs. Das Hotel liegt nur ca.1 Minute von der U 1, Station Lohmeierstraße, entfernt. Es ist sehr sauber, das Frühstücksbüffet sehr lecker. Einziges Manko ist der Straßenlärm. Bei offenem Fenster zu schlafen ist sehr schwer. Alle paar Minuten fahren Einsatzfahrzeuge mit eingeschalteter Sirene am Hotel vorbei. Da muss man leider bei geschlossenem Fenster schlafen. Super Hotel, ca. 5 Minuten (Fußweg) bis in die Innenstadt. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich mit Rührei, Sekt, Müsli und vielem mehr. Die U-Bahnstation ist nur einige Meter vom Hotel entfernt. "Angenehm überrascht"
Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral. U- Bahnstation gleich in der Nähe. Man muss wissen, dass das Hotel im St. Georgs Bezirk liegt. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett. Wir erhielten, statt eines gebuchten DZ , eine Suite . Das Personal in der Bar, war überfordert. Es dauerte sehr lange, bis jemand auf uns Aufmerksam wurde. Frühstücksbüfett, war in […] Ordnung. Personal auch hier nett und freundlich. Das Hotel Acotel Rubin ist für einen kurzen Hamburg Aufenthalt zu empfehlen. Les mer
