Very clean room and rug. Simple and comfortable. Stairs only to second floor. Friendly staff. Near lots of cool stuff. I was there in early May so if was very quiet. I am a non smoker and my room did not smell of smoke or pets. Bed was comfortable. Everything I needed from a motel.

It was average. We left early about 6:45 am and the office for breakfast was still closed and from what I saw it looks like a skimpy breakfast. So we went out.

We arrived very late and out of season. The keys and explanatory notes were waiting for us. The apartment was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was simple but plentiful and the doughnuts were great, more jam than I have ever had. Very helpful at checkout. We had a small dog with us so I assume we were put in one of the older dated, less clean rooms. I was very disappointed. The other buildings looked nice from the outside, I don't know what the rooms were like. A good place for motocycle riders to stay.

After requesting no stairs because of wife's disability we were at first given a second floor room with stairs. After requesting again for a first floor room were given one. Motel needs remodeling, very dated.

We found it to be a very nice stay . Everyone was very helpful and friendly. There was picnic tables items available for a cookout. The rooms were neat and clean. We were very close to everything.

Our room was supposed to have one queen-sized bed. Instead we had two standard double beds--which are too short for my 6'4" height. That is why I booked a room with a queen-sized bed. The shower head came out of the wall about 5 feet above floor level so it was a challenge to shower. There was extensive mildew staining on the bathroom ceiling and a […] number of celing tiles that were damaged an out of place. The television was small and old. There was no clock of any kind in the room. There was a small refrigerator in poor condition. When I went to get ice, the ice maker was empty. The room was noisy--you could hear the people upstairs walking around and there was considerable road noise. The air conditioner shut off during the night and in the morning I discovered someone had left the electric heat on--so we were quite uncomfortable our first night. We selected this motel, in part, because it claimed to be a "5 minute walk from the beach." I'm a fast walker, but there is no way you could walk from the motel to the beach in 5 minutes, it was more like 15 along roadways with little room for pedestrians. Les mer

I thought that the bedding could have been better. C'mon, cigarette burns in the sheets and comforter? Really? I have stayed in worse, but I can't say that this is the Ritz, by any means. Two great things were: working A/C and trolley ride into Ogunquit.

I was checked in efficiently. The desk is open 24 hours a day so if you are missing anything in your room you can just ask at the desk. I had a room upstairs and so had to carry my things up a staircase to get to it. So an older person or someone with a handicap should try to request the bottom floor. Once inside my room was spacious. I had a small […] refridgerator to use. I also had a nice bathroom. There was a bar in the bathtub to hold onto for somebody who needs that. I had a small tv that had cable channels....so plenty to watch. The air conditioner worked well. They have a nice little pool and it has a bathroom to use while you're out there and also an ice machine. It's a very relaxing place. There is a big yard there with tennis courts and the charcoal grills. Some people were sitting around a fire at night there which looked very nice. It is also in a great location to get to the beach or to get to some shops. I parked down by Wells Beach which is a long beach and walked to the breakwater there. I ate at Billy's Chowder House and recommend his Haddock Chowder. You get a great free breakfast at the Motel though. I felt very comfortable staying there. I had a great stay there. Les mer

Overall a decent stay. The beds wer prettye uncomfortableand could stand to be upgraded. Microwaves in all the rooms would have been nice for moments u don't want to eat out and want to heat something. The rooms were very clean and mine was spacious. I loved having the pool and all other activity areas right there for when traffic was real heavy downtown. […] Location was great. Old & run down,They gave us an upgrade our first night because they didn't have our room we requested & the upgrade was worse than our other requested room. No wifi in the room you have to be close to the office or outside to use it.DON'T DO IT

Upon arrival, our room was marginally cleaned. The bathroom was not cleaned at all and the carpet not vacuumed. The room had an obnoxious heavy cheap perfume smell. They must replace their cleaning agents with a more neutral scent. For the price they charge per night everything in the room needs updating (e.g. décor, old furniture & mattress, sinks […] and fixtures, including the airconditioning unit that kept freezing up. There were no blinds on the sliding doors, so when you open the curtains to let the daylight in, there is no privacy! The entire room is open to people walking by. After we complained about the condition of the room, the cleaning service did a more acceptable job the following day, except for the smell. On a positive note, the location of the hotel is within reasonable driving distance to Wells and Ogunquit beaches. The footpath to the beach is much too far to walk unless you're training for the marathon. Les mer

We enjoyed our stay. The room was very clean. We did not take advantage of the free breakfast as we "slept in" and were not quite ready to make it before 10 AM. We missed having a lamp near the beds. Best part is that the trolley came right onto the motel parking lot to take you through Wells or Ogunquit. Motel room had a musty odor and needs updating. Continental breakfast was passable with supermarket brand muffins, toast, juice bagels and spreads. Barbecue grills and picnic tables available for family was nice feature. The hotel is advertised as one that has WiFi, but this is not true, at least, I couldn't use internet in my room. There are many more and much better hotels and motels in the area, avoid this one.

Basically, we used the hotel for sleeping only. Extremely outdated and the wifi did not work in the rooms. It looked like they cut the blanket in half and placed it over the sheet. The one bright spot was that the room was clean.

I think the cleaning people should do better. I was disappointed with many things and left a note expressing this: There was a dead fly in the toilet, even though there was a paper strip across the closed lid saying "sterilized", as well as dirt on the back part of the toilet seat; there were hairs on the counter and bathroom floor; used soap left in […] the shower from a previous guest; no tissues in the tissue box on the wall; the faucet looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, with toothpaste spatter on it. There were no cups or sugars/creamers/stirrers for the in-room coffee. The air conditioning worked well and the carpet was clean, but there was a loud motorcycle that revved at least 5 or 6 times between 1 am and 3 am, seemingly leaving and coming back to the parking lot repeatedly. Needless to say, I didn't sleep much! I won't be coming back to this motel. Les mer

My wife and have been traving for the pass two weeks. We have stayed at many hotels/motels and paid the same money at your place and we were not happy. You need to work on new bedding,lamps and shower heads.

You get what you pay for with this hotel. Overall, it was ok. The room had a heavy perfume/chemical smell from the cleaning products/detergents. The mirror in the bathroom was too low as was the shower head. And the ceiling paint was peeling a bit. For just a place to rest your head, not bad for the price. It is an older motel and could use some updating. The air conditioner did not cool the room well at all and kept going on and off every 10 minutes. The blankets on the bed had seen better days and should be replaced. Other than that it was okay, but there are better places in the area to go to.

If you are looking for place pleasant & clean to stay and don't need a DVD, hottub or flatscreen tv in your room to survive, this is great ... our room was clean, bright and cheery , as well as amazingly quiet ... could not even hear the people in the adjacent unit . Although the hotel was a little outdated, the service was good, the breakfast was great, and only a mile from the beach. Pool, tennis court, excellent grilling area, and even a community fire pit. Over all, great for the price.

I only needed to stay over for one night, so I was looking for a cheap place to stay that was close to everything - this was it. The location is good because it's close to everything. A short walk in any direction and you can get to the local shops, beaches, or the trolley. The front desk personell were friendly and accomodating. I mentioned to housekeeping that the coffee maker was not working and a maintenance worker overheard me and insisted he take care of the situation immediately. The staff was great, friendly. Location was excellent. Could be a little more updated for some, but for us and the money, it was fine. Like stepping back in time a little, but this area is like that. Arrived for check in 2hrs early and had no problems. We were made very welcome. Just outside Ogunquit town which is much more expensive but only a few minutes drive away. Had lunch in the Post Road Tavern a couple of minutes walk away, back toward Ogunquit. Fabulous burger with sweet potato fries...Unless you are very brave dont try the Toxic Waste […] wings which are mega hot....a customer there told us he had ONE the night before and thought he had to call an ambulance...If you can eat 12 you get them free + a tee shirt. Complimentary breakfast at the Majestic is served in a funny little 'shed' on the site..which is a bit shabby but clean. Muffins, cereals, donuts, pastries, bagels, toast, juice,coffee, tea, milk...all serve yourself and plentiful. Great place to stay for the cost which is very reasonable. Les mer

All of my ratings are based on what I got for the price I paid. I considered it a super value. That is the least I've paid for lodging in many years and the room was very adequate, pretty well updated and very clean. Yes, the buildings were 40 or 50 years old but they had been recently updated. I did have to push hard against the door to open it but […] it was pretty secure. The staff and the owners were great. The free breakfast included a variety of breakfast cereals, very tasty fresh donuts, bagels, english muffins, bread, toast, milk, orange juice, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. It did not have a waffle maker or any hot food, but again, it was very fair for the price. If you are looking for a high end, fancy hotel/motel with a fancy foyer, etc. then you probably don't want to stay here, but if you're looking for a fairly comfortable place to sleep at night so you can get out and enjoy the southern coast of Maine, and use your money to enjoy the local sights then I would definitely say this may be the place for you. The pictures online made it look a lot better than it actually was. The pool was a dark green, the grills in the middle of the property looked like something you would see in a trailer park, there were no amenities in the room (shampoo, etc) and the toilet seemed like it was going to collapse while on it. You don't expect much for the amazing good price yet we have found all the rooms freshly painted, bathroom modernized and very clean. It includes a 'fridge and coffee maker with a hair drier on loan from the front office. The grounds are wonderful with tennis courts, swimming pool and several nice BBQs plus picnic tables. The breakfast is a bit campy […] with a sign "two donuts per guest". That amuses us but others seem happy with two donuts.
