The mattress was horrible. Every time my husband moved, my side would bounce. I did not sleep well at all because of this. This room was not cheap either. I also was told by hotels.com that it had a lounge. It was a coffee bar with some alcohol. The charge for a bloody mary was $8.00 and was served in a very small glass. I will not be back.

The hotel was nice and the room were clean! The pool and hottub were nice. Didn't get good service at the caffe/bar it took forever to get the food and very expensive for small portions of food!

The overall hotel was nicely plush and put together. The location was easy to find and was relative to most roads and destinations needed to get to. Though my room was on the whole clean when I walked in but when I pulled back the sheets to my bed I found hairs all over. I was not happy, there were also hairs on the crevasses of the bathroom tub.

Clean and convenient. Beds good. Housekeeper left previous guests' stuff on floor behind chair. Question how thorough cleaning is. Bathroom sink drain clogged. Sound of plumbing in upstairs room pretty loud. Finish in room looks pretty worn for a fairly new hotel.

This is a 4 story structure not a conventional Courtyard. They are undergoing renovation. Problem was the room overhead where some young fellas were conducting a wrestling match then did heavy stomping until 1:00 am. Several calls to front desk netted nothing. Not much rest and not up to Marriott standards

Was looking for a clean basic hotel room just for 1 night after visiting family. The Courtyard By Marriott was exactly that. Carpet and rooms looked to be recently renovated. Definitely a business style hotel room. Was mostly happy that reservations could be cancelled up to previous night of reservation and that I could stay just 1 night, Sat, on the […] weekend. My boyfriend plows snow for customers and had to make sure weather was clear for that day. Most hotels give you 2 weeks prior to reservation to cancel with no charges. Only negative I noticed was the thermostat in room didn't make heat in the wall unit when I set it to 72. Just blew cool air for few mins. Turned it off. Forgot to tell front desk. Room never got cold on 3rd floor. Les mer

Room was quite messy with dust and a few cobwebs. Not sure the room had Been well cleaned for a while. Bedspread was a wrinkly pattern that looked messy and had a few stains.

We've stayed at this hotel before (we booked four rooms for family members). Across from shopping, and adjacent restaurant is good. Our room was diagonal from the ice machine, and the loud machine made ice all night. We stayed two nights, and the maids didn't come until dinner time, and then didn't even make the beds up in any of our four rooms. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff was also knowledgeable about the area and great with directions. We would definitely stay here again.

It was short but great. We leave our car there when we travel and take the shuttle to the airport which is about 5-10 minutes away.

The main reason we chose this hotel over others in the area that were equally priced was the hot tub, and it did not let us down. It was perfect! They provided us with towels at the pool and the fitness room. On one occasion they were out in the pool area, when I asked at the desk they told me that they would bring me one right away. Not only did they […] bring it but they also brought it directly to my things as I was already in the pool. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotels location was perfect, just down the street from the Maine Mall along with many other stores. It is also just about a 15 to 20 minute ride to Old Port which offers a Marriott as well but for much more money. Our room was very spacious with a king size bed and couch. The only complaint really was that we could not get the a/c to just run the fan all night long. (We like "white noise" to sleep to). The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beds very comfortable with lots of extra pillows. The bathrooms are spacious and clean as well. They also provided more towels than most hotels. This was a perfect choice for my husband and I for a special weekend away. I highly recommend this place to everyone. Les mer

Our hotel room was very clean and our room was also very spatious. We stayed for a weekend trip and the location was very centrally located. We would definatly recommend this hotel to anyone. The pool was small but not very busy. The hot tub was fine.

Excellent quality overall, other than the lmited room location choices (by a noisy ice machine or the elevator). Very good value for the money and convenient location near the Maine Mall.

The hotel was clean, close to the highway and the staff was friendly. There is a good bar in walking distance. I would stay there again.

The room was set up nicely. At first glance seemed clean. Bathroom mirror had some streaks and little spot inside the toilet, but when we turned down the bed at night we could make out a large stain on the mattress pad through the sheet. It was late and we were very tired, so we just put down a towel over that area. We informed the front desk upon checking […] out and they apoligized and said they were in the process of changing all the mattress pads and they would have housekeeping change that one that day. My trip was to pick up my nephew from College for the holiday. I drove up the night before right after work and arrived after midnight, the hotel staff was very friendly and we were checked in within 3 to 4 minutes, no waiting... The hotel is located right across the street from my favorite stores which was an added bonus. I did not know that before […] arriving. I was able to shop and pick up my nephew in one trip. very nice hotel close to shopping, restaurants and bookstores. friendly staff and clean, large rooms. it was my daughters 14th birthday and she had a great time in south portland. entire hotel is non-smoking which keeps everything fresh. wish the indoor pool was heated, but the spa tub was very relaxing.
