Et veldig trivelig hotell:-) God frokost, sentral beliggenhet i en meget koselig by!

We stayed in Hotel Jan Brito for 5 nights and were very happy with our stay. The position of the hotel is perfect. Short walking distance to everything and very close to some lovely restaurants that weren't too touristy. Our room was gorgeous. Being on the top floor it had a lovely high ceiling with eaves and was really charming. The only negativ is […] that there was only a bath and no shower in this particular room because of the sloping ceiling in the bathroom. But that being said, it was an extremely clean and charming room and we loved our stay there. The breakfast is lovely and the breakfast lady does a great job. The only negative is that it isn't served until 8am which is a little late if you are in Bruges for work. I ordered breakfast in my room one day for 7.00am and it didn't arrive. Still didn't arrive after 2 phone calls to the front desk. In the end I went down to the breakfast room and the lady working there was lovely and it wasn't a problem for me to have my food early down there. This was a minor problem, so all in all I really liked Jan Brito. On the whole the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is very charming and clean with a nice breakfast. I would gladly stay there again and do highly recommend it. Les mer

Hotellet ligger sentralt i Brügge, har koselige antikke detaljer, nydelig frokostbuffét og hyggelig betjening. Vi bodde på "knightroom" som var helt ok - ikke veldig eksklusivt, men hadde badekar og en del toalettsaker på rommet. Mest av alt er det service'n, frokosten og fellesområdene som trekker opp karakteren. Ville definitivt bodd her igjen.

I am very satisfied with this hotel. Great location, just 3 minutes walk from "Markt" and Belfry of Bruges. Free WiFi in the room and the breakfast buffet is included in the price. Friendly and smiling staff. I'll stay here again next time I go to Bruges.

Vi lå på Maid's room i 3. etasje. Rommet var lite, men komfortabelt nok for to. Rent og pent, dobbeltseng, skap, to lenestoler, TV, arbeidsbord, WC og dusj på rommet. Bare et par-tre hundre meter fra de største severdighetene i Brugge, og parkeringshus 100 m unna. God frokost. Very pleasant introduction to the wonderful town of Bruges.

Great location 2-3 mins from the Burg, and an easy walk from the bus stop in Market Square. Location also very quiet yet 2 mins walk from a most popular section of canal. Fantastic service from friendly, efficient staff. Excellent breakfast; hot eggs and bacon, variety breads, pastries and cake and good selection of cheeses and cold meats as well as […] fresh fruit salad, dried fruits and good jams. Bike hire from hotel well worth it, very much enhanced our stay. Daily English newspapers at reception, good tourist advice from reception, large bar, baggage storage on leaving day. Beautifully decorated hotel in sympathy with it's age. Would definitely return and recommend. Les mer

The quality of this hotel is its location and charm. The breakfast was also a plus. Walking time to top restaurants, shopping and sights is excellent. The one flaw is the elevator in the back area. You have to keep the button in for the ride up and down. Also, it is slow. Taking the steps was much easier but for people with mobility issues the back […] part of the hotel could be a problem. Excellent value for money and centrally located. Friendly and helpful staff and very good breakfast buffet. Pity the elevator is that slow and inconvenient (push the button all the way up!) it makes much more sense to use the stairs.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The location is perfect- 5 minutes walk to the Burg and Markt, close to the canal walks. But it is also far enough away from the main hotel area to be quiet. It is close to restaurants and pubs where we were the only non-Belgians so it felt less touristy than the main squares. We had a Knight's Room […] which was huge and gorgeous and absolutely quiet- we couldn't even hear street noises. It was cleaned every day and was spotless. The bed was comfortable and the shower was really powerful. The staff were helpful and polite at all times and the breakfast was fantastic. A good selection of cereals, different types of egg, cooked meat, different breads and juices, cold meats and cheeses. They also had real tea! We were there in the winter but I'd say the courtyard is lovely to have breakfast in in the summer. Les mer

Four nights and my only complaint is that the gin and tonic from the hotel bar is a bit pricey. I'm not hugely experienced, but this is the best hotel I've stayed in so far.

Couldn't really fault the hotel - we were only there a couple of nights and it was perfect for all the sites and restaurants in Bruges. general Car Park at the end of the street - we had no trouble parking , but the hotel have their own pass in any case - we didn't need the car once we were there, it was easy to walk everywhere espcially as the hotel […] is right in the centre of everything. Everything was great! The room and amenities were perfect. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and our rate included breakfast. The mini bar had decent prices as well.

Nice clean hotel. Good service. Good location. Only drawback no hotel car park. There is a public one nearby about 10 euros per day.

Really nice hotel in a great location - only a short walk to the town centre.

This was our second trip to Bruges and we couldn't have chose a better hotel to stay.Perfect location with a short walk to the city centre and all the ammenities.The staff are excellent and always very helpful the hotel as been lovingly restored rooms are very comfortable and very clean.Fantastic breakfast served with a smile and lots of choice excellent […] value for money.I would have no problem reccommending this hotel to any one fanstastic stay and would certaintly return to this hotel again and again well done JAN BRITO AND ALLL THE STAFF. A lovely hotel steeped in history in a great location very close to all the centre of brugge. The hotel staff were very helpful, breakfast was very nice and overall very good value for money. Would definately stay again and reccommend to others.

A beautiful hotel, good service, room a little too small-we stayed at the maids room, but clean and with nice, clean towels. Breakfast was very good and plenty. Good parking 200 meters away. Very close to the town centre and all the must see places. A good hotel to stay, can recommend to anybody.

Really loved this hotel. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and most helpful. This well located hotel was a charming place to stay in a charming town. Breakfast was wonderful from the fresh fruit to the smoked salmon to the pastries and grainy bread.

Situated a 5 minute walk from the squares. V.nice building decor and fittings. Room was nicely fitted out and comfortable. Breakfast was good. No street parking or hotel car park available, but there is an underground car park 5 mins away. Best bit was the staff who were all polite, friendly and helpful

This hotel is lovely. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful and the rooms were palatial. A higher ceilinged bedroom I have scarcely seen, and whilst the Marie Antoinette inspired interiors aren't something I would choose to live with on a daily basis, they made for a luxurious feeling hotel room and certainly gave it a wow factor. […] Our room was more than large enough, as was the bathroom, and everything was present to ensure a lovely stay. If we had to criticise anything it would be that our room was a little dusty, and a dead fly present on the windowsill when we arrived was still there until we removed it ourselves a couple of days later. But that's extremely nitpicky and doesn't detract much from the overall greatness of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, and was served in an eccentrically-decorated room staffed by smiley and multilingual staff. Reception was similarly staffed by happy and courteous people. Overall we loved our stay there and would definitely go back to the Jan Brito should we return to Brugge. Les mer

Friends recommended this hotel and they were right--the room was spacious and detailed, the morning breakfast buffet was excellent, and the location was perfect. This is a great value for the price with easy access to the Belltower square, the canals, and the meandering streets of Bruges.

The hotel is in a neat older building with a great courtyard. Staff is great. Breakfast is great. The room was very nice.

this hotel was so charming, very quiet and an absolutely wonderful breakfast served in a beautiful area, overlooking a lovely garden. it was very easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go and an easy bus rid from the train.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the Knight Rooms. The bed was lovely and comfy with a nice duvet and bedding. Although we were facing a street, we used the air conditioning and kept the windows closed and were not disturbed by any noise. The reception staff were very helpful. Note that not all restaurants open on a Tuesday night and some of the ones […] we tried to get into were fully booked. Excellent visit. Les mer

Absolutely fabulous. We stayed in the Duchess suite called "the Chapel". Can't say enough wonderful things about this place, the great breakfast, the lovely garden, the jacuzzi in the room, it's like staying in a lovely palace. Conveniently located near the town center. Hotel staff very courteous and helpful in recommending restaurants. Clean and a modern bathroom.

Incredibly beautiful, clean room, fantastic service and a very nice breakfast to boot! Don't hesitate to book a room in this fabulous hotel. You won't be disappointed!

The hotel was well located, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfasts in the morning were excellent. I would definitely stay there again.

Excellent hotel in good location. Room was large, clean and relatively well equipped although there was no complimentary water (had to pay for water from the mini-bar) and no tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast buffet was of a good standard with a good choice of items. Represented excellent value for money.

What an amazing hotel, present owners have kept it in superb condition having kept a lot of the original features. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. Great location. Breakfast is a bonus, lots of choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely go back one day!

A lovely old-fashioned hotel with many features that were exquisite. We stayed in the Marquis suite which was perfect for three people. The bathroom was very modern and had lots of amenities. The breakfast was lovely and the staff excellent and helpful. The only strange occurrence was regarding inexpensive paper maps with advertising all over them that […] the desk clerk gives out. Our one local souvenir type map got ruined so we asked for another and the desk clerk got all huffy and puffy about giving us a second saying she would have to charge us. It was full of local advertising and was the kind you pick up on a street corner. What was that all about? Other than that it was a great spot, great hotel and one we would definitely recommend. It was close to historical Brugge's attractions. We recommend the Tante Marie tearoom just down the street. Parking is not handy however. There is no on street parking and a parking garage two blocks away is your best bet. Les mer

This was a lovely old mansion remodeled into a delightful hotel. We stayed in the Marquesa suite. Parking was a problem because it was two blocks away and 10 Euros daily. There was no other parking nearby. The hotel was very close to great restaurants and tourist shopping.
