The building and especially the lobby are beautiful and the extras are many. Breakfast, afternoon meal and popcorn are all included. But in my book this does not qualify to hit the top marks. The hotel is huge and it is a un-personal machine. There are huge lines for every meal, and the meals are served on plastic plates. My room did not feel perfectly clean and the bed linen were old and should have been replaced. The location is great.

"FANTASTIC!"
Provided breakfast and dinner. How wonderful that we did not have to go out. Was convenient to the out-patient hospital that my husband used. Left my make-up mirror when we left. I called Richard, the night manager, and he had it waiting for me to pick up the next week. He is a real asset to the hotel and guests. Room had everything! Highly recommend […] this hotel! Les mer

"Everything we needed"
We chose this hotel online because of its location. It was clean, comfortable, nice people running it and good hot breakfast (and the coffee was good).
Although we have been to San Antion several times, this was our first visit to this particular Marriott. We were very pleased with the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to San Antonio. While we generally have chidren with us and are mindful of a budget, the breakfast buffet was a great […] asset. My only recommendation would be be to add bagels, muffins and croissants for a different variety. Les mer

This hotel staff was very responsive to every request I made, but I did have to ask them to clean the air filters and give me a clean pillow. There were a couple of other things that needed cleaning, but when I stay at a hotel, I expect the room to be clean without me having to ask.....

Was more than we were expecting. Staff was very nice and helpful. Will definitely stay there again. The location was great, we were only about 20 mins away from all the attraction we were visiting. The buffet style breakfast is great, helps out on your expenses. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.
wonderful Staff, great breakfast, Line was long for breakfast but it was a holiday weekend. Rooms were comfortable. I would use the hotel again.

"townsplace san antonio"
This was our first time staying at this hotel it was my husband, daughter and me. I loved that the suite had a little kichen. was very placeous and It was not far at all from festa texas and penty of things to do in the Surrounding area.

The hotel's location was great! The breakfast and dinner were good. They needed a little healthier slant to them. But we appreciated them. The bed and couch were hard as rocks and difficult to be comfortable in. Neither my husband or I had a good night's sleep in the nights we stayed there due to the bed. And then I tried to do my paperwork in the room […] during the day but the chairs and couch were so hard to sit on I eventually had to sit on a pillow. It was a great place to stay at. The breakfast was great and plenty of food. It is a great location to fiesta texas and to the mall plus the provide a shuttle to these places. I would stay their again.

"Towneplace Suites San Antonio Northwest Rocks!"
The hotel staff was awesome - they took care of all of our requests with a smile. The food was not quite as good as previous reviews lead us to believe, but still adequate and plentiful. The pool could have been maintained a bit better, the water was a little murky. All that said, we would stay there again.

Enough room in king suite to accommodate myself, my husband and infant son. We traveled with our full size swing, stroller and bassinet and still had ample room to hang out on the sofa and watch t.v. Breakfast was delicious, staff was very helpful and courteous. Convenient location. My family will stay here again next time we are in the area.
The counter in the kitchen area had jam on it from the last occupant of the room. The fridge in the room is very noisy and woke me up several times. But it is close to the onramp to 10 and has several restaurants and Starbucks near by.

"Enjoyed our stay"
We would come here again. The room was clean, the service was very accommodating. Specifically:1) they were able to adjust rooms so we could be close to our parents who were joining us there later during our stay 2) they allowed us a late checkout without question or fee when our travel plans changed 3) they assisted us with making dual sided copies […] for a business meeting. The business center in the lobby was very helpful- printer/copier/fax machine was in good working order. The 24 hour coffee and fruit availability was excellent. Only two concerns were that is a little awkward getting on and off I10 from Prue road at that point - but easily done after once through the routine. Otherwise location is very convenient to major streets and highways. Beds were a little too firm for my taste- otherwise room was great. Morning breakfast was fresh and hot- basic buffet type fare - but freshly prepared and plentiful. Pool area looked good - did not have a chance to visit. Les mer

There are nearly full-sized refrigerators in the rooms, they serve a substantial breakfast, there is a clean and relaxing pool, the front desk people are extremely helpful, and they have a small selection of frozen food you can purchase to prepare in your room. Excellent location, easy access to IH-10. Room was clean and comfortorable with the exception of A/C that was a little noisy. Breakfast buffet was good and hot. Wi-fi available and computers in lobby if you forget your laptop. Would stay there again.

The hotel is in good condition, nicely appointed and very clean. Alicia was a very pleasant receptionist and helped us recover our son's glasses. There was plenty to choose from at breakfast as they try to go beyond the typical waffle/cereal/muffin/hard boiled egg choices by adding omelet style eggs plus salsa and cheese, and biscuits with gravy (these […] offerings so so tasting). The down side for us was that a king bed and sofa bed for a family of 4 was not as comfortable for us as a room with 2 queen beds. Les mer

Rooms were VERY small, and we choose a Studio Suite. Its okay for couples, but if you have a baby, forget about it!

The hotel had a great buffet for breakfast. The pool was nice it just needed to be clean. Close to Sea World and Six Flags.

A nice place. A little hard to find Not fancy or glamorous. Breakfast was very good, especially for kids. Not especially close to Fiesta Texas, 6 or so miles away. Clean rooms, freindly staff. Reasonable price.
