The fellow at the desk was very nice and helpful. However our first room was dirty, the frig wasn't clean and furniture looked dusty. He changed us to another room upstairs which was larger and looked a lot better. However, I initially saw a small roach on the wall, but that's life in a country environment. Beds were very comfortable. Good place to stay if you are looking for a place to stay for a reasonable rate. Clean rooms (except for shower curtain). Down fall is that it's a bit noisy.

Room was ok for the price. It was clean and the continental breakfast was very nice. Only complaint was the water in the bathroom never really got hot. Lukewarm at best , hopefully they adjust that But for the price not bad at all !!

The rooms are small and not well appointed. First floor rooms are very noisy especially if someonr is overhead. Gas station next door was robbed at gunpoint one night during the stay. Had an emergency change in plans after three nights and hotel would not forgive the night 4 billing. Never again Travelodge.

The recent upgrade was suprisingly classy for a motel. Rooms (our group had 5 rooms) were clean with plantation blinds, crown molding, new heat/air units, flat screen TV, great stone tiled bathroom, nice bedding ( a light weight blanket would have been nice). Rooms with one bed had a table and chairs. Rooms with 2 beds felt overcrowded, othewise great. […] Staff was friendly and helpful but more information on places to eat would have been appreciated. Looks like this hotel was recently updated. We found it to be very satisfactory and stayed another night on our return through Lompoc. The room was clean and cheerful. Nothing to complain about. Breakfast was usually hotel fare.

Recently remodeled, comfortable beds. Hot water takes forever to finally get to the shower.... Bathroom and shower dirty.... Empty box of tissues :( need to take your own??? Nice plasma tv< new carpets and decoration. Some supervision to the cleanness of the rooms and I would definitely recommend the place.

Had a great time (much too short) the accommodation were good & service pleasant & professional. Room was clean. The only issue is the plastic cover on the mattress made too much noise every time you moved.

This hotel provided everything a person on a budget could possibly expect. Although not extremely large, our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. It was clear everything had been very recently updated. So many things were brand new including the shower tile, bathroom counter (granite), shower curtain, crown moldings, paint, beds, chairs...in […] fact all of the furniture was brand new. Everything worked beautifully (except for the bathroom fan, which we couldn't find a switch for). I noticed a couple of dogs in the hotel, but they were very quiet and not a problem. Also, the front office smelled of smoke when I went to check in and I was concerned about the room smelling the same but there was no hint of a smoky smell– or any other odor. The breakfast was a bit disappointing as we have seen many a free breakfast with a vast assortment of fruits as well as cooked items. Here they provide toast, tiny chocolate muffins, and two kinds of cereal. Also, the lady at the front desk was polite and answered my questions adequately, but was not extremely warm and inviting. They just got all new furniture so everything is very nice. The staff was absolutely amazing very warm and friendly. It was our first time in this town and the staff gave great recommendations that made our trip extra special. We will be staying again.

The room was clean but the comforter and some of the pilowcases were dirty. The room smelled like something when my husband and I first walked in and we could not identify what it was. The linens on the bed smelled like they hadn't been washed in a while and when they were washed they were placed on the bed still wet; it smelled old and mildewy! Not the prettiest motel from the outside, but the rooms are very nice and new. The bathroom was very pretty, almost like in a luxury hotel. It was ok for the price we paid. Not far away from the wineries in the Santa Rita Hills, Lompoc itsself is not a highlight though. Breakfast is not worth mentioning.

It's aging, but it's been renovated recently, the room was in quite good shape, clean, quiet, and staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again, particularly for the price.

My wife, 2 year old child and I were surprised by the updated decor; finding out later the hotel was renovated just recently. The room was exceptionally clean and the bedding & bath towels were both soft, unlike the sandpaper texture that some of us who travel are used to. We slept quite well without the itching of bed bugs and the bed was quite soft […] & comfortable (without the sagging feeling of an old bed). The pool, which we didn't have a chance to use, appeared to be crystal clean and the overall appearance of the property was impressive as it was all well kept & clean as well. The parking was ample and we were able to park directly in front of our room on both days, thanks to the fact that it appeared the guests were spread out throughout the property; allowing for privacy and peace & quiet without having to hear the guests next door. The front desk staff were courteous & professional. Overall we were impressed & would stay here again. Les mer

This hotel seemed to be right in the middle of a renovation when we stayed there (June 8, 2012). Our room was almost done, but not quite, so a lot of the power outlets didn't work, etc. The bathroom looked almost finished and was nice. It was a clean room, but the pool was very dirty. Our room faced the street, and it was very noisy, and the door was […] not properly finished, so cold air blew all around the door frame. The staff were very friendly and accomodating as much as they could be. For ALC: this hotel is one of the closest, but still not really walkable with large bags. Also, the taxi services in this town up their prices and charge high flat rates so plan accordingly. Les mer

The staff is super friendly and helpful. The room was nice - simple, but well worth the $. The shower was a bit small. The shower curtain kept hitting me as I showered. The complementary breakfast is basic. Toast, cereal, juice, coffee. Fills you up and its FREE so it works for me! I would...WILL stay here again. Really nice little place in a cute little […] town. Check in was a breeze. This is an older hotel has obviously been remodeled recently. Very comfortable bed and large shower. New comforters and bedding. New bathroom. Beautiful, clean pool. All the basic necessities provided. Only problem was at 11:30 pm when we called for a wake up call, staff didn't answer. But, the room had an alarm clock, so we used […] that. Great value!! This was a typical overnight stay hotel we sadly had booked for a week. The room was pokey. The kitchen had a tiny coffee pot and one allowance of coffee. We booked a room with one queen bed and were given a room with two full beds and i have to say these were comfortable. When working on my laptop there was not enough room for another person to pass […] unless I moved. The bathroom had no tub and after a 900 mile trip a tub was needed. Breakfast was basic with paper or polystyrene cups bowls and plates. We left fours days early and unfortunately as i stated we had paid in advance for the week. Will not be staying at this type of hotel again. I suppose this is standard for the price paid. Les mer

Excellent Value for overnight stay. Very clean and comfortable. The manager was very helpful in trying resolve a minor issue with our TV remote.

The bed was comfortable, the shower was ok. The room was small, but big enough, and clean. The continental breakfast was terrible. Not even worth going to, unless you just want coffee and toast.

The hotel was cheap and I wasn´t expecting too much, but it was great, clean room and batchroom, a confortable bed and a high-speed internet that really works fast! Highly recommended!
