Et hotell i den "internasjonale" delen av Seoul, med kort avstand til både gode spisesteder, shopping - og undergrunnsbane. Hotellet er holdt i en gjennomført design-stil, med enkelt og stilfullt interiør. Veldig serviceinstilt personale, og generlt god service. Anbefales gjerne.

Servicen er fantastisk. Fra du ankommer til utskjekkingen. Det er bare et minus med oppholdet og det er maten Maten er litt dyr pga servicen tar avgift. Men maten er meget godt,så det blir et lite minus fra meg

Dette er hjertet i den moderne byen, og kjennetegnes av skyskrapere og en blanding av nytt og gammelt. Bydelen er berømt for Namdaemun-markedet, det største og eldste tradisjonelle markedet i landet, med tusenvis av boder med klær og tilbehør til lave priser. Namdaemun, som bokstavelig oversatt betyr "Store sørport", er en imponerende, tradisjonell port av tre og stein som står ved et stort gatekryss.

Teppet i korridoren luktet mugg og bør skiftes omgående. Suiten var dårlig belyst og direkte kjedelig møblert. Den ene heisen brøt sammen under oppholdet. I tillegg er byggearbeidene på nabotomten svært sjenerende. Beliggenheten til Seoul stasjon er heller ikke særlig nær, selv om hotellet skryter spesielt av dette (for langt til å komfortabelt gå med […] en koffert). Selv om hotellbetjeningen er hyggelig og hjelpsom, er ikke dette nok til at Ramada har noen sjanse til å bli mitt hotell neste gang jeg er i Seoul. Les mer
"Ramada hotell i Seoul - sentralt nær attraksjoner"
Hotellet ligger sentalt i forhold til mange av områdets attraksjoner som markedet, Seoul tower, City hall, i alle fall 1 palass, noen scener med "intrnasjonale" oppføringer, shopping områder etc. Med gode norske bein gikk vi sikkert mer enn de fleste, men hdde ikke behov for annen transport denne lange helgen.

"Ramada Suites Namdaemun - Great Locations"
We were very pleased to be upgraded from a regular room to a suite at no extra charge. The room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. Best of all just a short cab or subway ride to everything we wanted to do and see. Only drawback was the breakfast buffet - it was primarily Korean kimchee so we had to find breakfast elsewhere.

Good hotel with spacious rooms. Location may not be ideal as compared to others due to a longer walk to the nearest subway station, but taxis are readily available outside the hotel. conveniently located near Seoul Station as well as Namdaemon Market. Room was very spacioius. Airport shuttle pick up at the hotel was also a nice benefit.
The housekeeper is not so responsible and sometimes absent minded to refill the tea bags in the room.

We reserved a room with a King bed but ended up with a Queen bed. Not sure if that was the hotel's fault or hotels.com's fault. The condition of the hotel is acceptable. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Good location with direct bus from Incheon Airport. Safe & easy to access shopping area like Namdaemun, Myeongdong. Walking distance to Cityhall Station. […] Cafe, Restaurants & Foodmart below hotel even though it takes some 10mins to walk to the subway station. It is also situated amongst commercial buildings which can be very quiet during the night. To get food, it is quite a walk before you can find any. Hotel staff can speak EL , helpful and very friendly. We didn't speak Korean, but they were extremely helpful during our stay. They helped write down names of places and things for us so that the taxi drivers could take us places. The only thing I would like to comment is that the restaurant is very expensive. The food is cold when it was served to us. I was very surprised that the restaurant didnt have any Xmas celebrations on the eve of Xmas. The overall rating is good value for money. Pleasant stay. the suites were the most amazing rooms well equiped and extremely spacious and comfortable nothing to complain about here

The general condition of the hotel is acceptable. Clean, spacious and comfortable. The only issue I have with this hotel is its location. Takes some 10mins to walk to the nearest subway station. It is also situated amongst commercial buildings which can be very quiet during the night. To get food, it is quite a walk before you can find any.

The hotel has an excellent location, within walking distance to Namdameun market and a short taxi ride to Myeongdong. the rooms are spacious and the service is great. I traveled with my 3 young kids and the hotel is great for families.

What could be worse when one is staying next to an on-going construction site! We could even see the faces of the workers? How close this is?? The drilling & hamming will start at 7am in the morning! Not to mention the dust & the debris coming from the area. The room is not carpeted, adding to the discomfort especially when it is very cold weather now. Hotel is a bit old. Not close to subway station but if by taxi, 10 min to Meongdong, still can be managed.

the hotel is in a nice location but at least a 5-10 minute walk in either of two direction to the metro. it has a starbucks on the corner at ground level and all the amenities one would expect from the Ramada chain.

I'm happy with my stay except internet service. I had to pay the daily rate once I log on. I don't mind to pay the internet service by hour as it is provided by a 5-star hotel in Korea.

Awesome location. close to myungdong, Namdaemun, seoul train station and etc. Friendly service, did not provide WiFi. Spacious room, but cleaning crew left dirty towels behind and forgot to leave clean towels...

The hotel was initially slightly hard to find because the entrance is not on a major street but that was the only problem we had with the place. Our room was very comfortable with nice amenities and relatively inexpensive. And the downtown location made it very easy to get around. We'll definitely stay there again the next time we're back in Seoul.

Would recommend to friends, was in a good location, close to most things (walking distance), staff were friendly and helpful, the only downfall was our airconditioner in the bedroom was making strange noises which keep us awake, we asked for it to be fixed and nothing was done, had to turn it off at night luckily it was really hot, the only other thing […] is it would have been good to have free wi-fi in our room, always good when you are travelling! My sister and I stayed here for 5 days while we were in Seoul. I liked our hotel room. It was simple, but clean and spacious. I LOVE the hotel front desk staff. We didn't speak Korean, but they were extremely helpful during our stay. They helped write down names of places and things for us so that the taxi drivers could take us places. Hotel was small and in a convenient location. We found a small Korean place in the basement that had good, simple Korean fare. It was a little irritating that the internet wasn't free in the room nor in the lobby nor in the nearby Starbucks.

Nice hotel for the price but location is little out of the main shopping areas. Don't expect too much by the name, there are 3 Ramada hotel in the area antamper taxi drivers does not know the location of this one inparticular; make sure to carry your room key with the map of the location. No need to have hotel breakfast as time may not be the most convenient […] if you are on vacation. Lots of coffee shops to select from around the area. Les mer

Pretty new and clean hotel. Good location in the middle of the financial district. It's also a close taxi ride to the major tourist areas. The staff was helpful as well. I would stay here again.

We were made welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff were most helpful and very obliging and were able to assist us with the language barrier. The staff at this hotel are very friendly and willing to help. Most speak English. In fact, this is the only hotel I've stayed at in Seoul that has foreigners-only taxis. One driver I had told me all about his vacation to Maryland. The hotel is within walking distance to Namdaemun Market and the metro, and if you're up for it, you can walk to Myeongdong. […] I have only two complaints: (1) skip the breakfast--it's not great, and you can get something better at Starbucks or Machebette, which are next door. (2) They gave me a smoking room even though I'd asked for nonsmoking, but I kept it because it was huge. You should know also that the beds are extra firm. It wasn't a problem for me, but some people are pickier than I am. Les mer

"Ramada Hotel - Namdeamun"
All city hall sights (city hall, palace, art museums) within walking distance. Hotel off beaten path, so if you didn't know where you were walking, you might miss it. Room very nice, upscale and included washer/dryer combo! Only downside was a windowless bedroom. As such, it was hard to know if it was day or night without looking at clock. Loan of the […] cell phone was a plus. Subway entrance fairly close by and since it was a transfer station, we could access 2 lines through this station. All in all, great hotel for price. Les mer
"nice hotel"
I would highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and nice. All hotel staff was very courteous and the front desk staff spoke good English. Very near the Seoul subway, we were able to walk each day to the subway. The shuttle to and from the hotel was nice and appreciated, it's about $10 each way, so not to bad.
The hotel has issues with the rooms, one AC was leaking, then we got changed into another room where the AC was then not working. Hotel staff is nice but they have language barriers.
"Comfortable stay, excellent location"
This hotel is wonderfully close to Seoul's historical center, and within walking distance of Seoul Station. Conveniently close to restaurants (including Western ones), grocery stores and within walking distance of the traditional markets. An excellent base from which to explore this vibrant city!
