Got alot for the money here, nice rooms right on the beach and about a 20 minute drive to Miami Beach, free parking and walking distance to a grocery store. Very helpful staff. The only downside was that the TV in my room wasn't working and there was no elevator to the second floor.

Dette motellet såg ut til å være fra 50-tallet med noe sliten arkitektur. Langt fra sentrum i Miami Beach. Egner seg best for dem som leier bil. Men det går buss til South Beach (ca 30 minutter) og Miami downtown rett utenfor hotellet. Antagelig bra for barnefamilier.

Eldre hotell men godt vedlikeholt hotell direkte på stranden. Rommen er egentlig en liten leilighet med stue og fult utstyrt kjøkkenkrok og eget soverom med 2stk senger. Sovesofa i stua og TV både på soverommet og i stua. Meget bra frokost i forhold til normal standar i USA. Gratis parkering. Stor matbutikk og flere spisesteder i nærheten. Buss til […] south Beach rett utenfor hotellet. Ypperlig for barnefamiler eller for andre som søker et strandhotell i Miami med rolig beliggenhet. Les mer

Excellent location in Surfside Miami, it`s a shame, but I found out that the hotel will be closed next june, because it will be demolished, and in its place, the new owners will construct a new private building.

wish I could have stayed longer. I didn't anticipate that I would be extending my vacation for a few days.I tried to book room for couple extra nights but they were sold out. I am currently at days inn on collins and what a dump! stay at best western if possible.

Big room, very clean but dated and sad looking.On the beach which is great. Pool old and unappealing.19$ for overnight parking , rather expensive for that kind of hotel.breakfast not interesting.expensive hotel overall for what you get.

This hotel is nice and right on the beach. There was a upper deck above the pool with a great view of the ocean, which was beautiful. The room itself was pretty good except the beds. They were horrible! The double beds were small and had dips in them and sagged fromoveruse I presume. They need to upgrade the beds.

You have a separate bedroom, kids sleep in the living, and a kitchen with basic stuff to cook. Breakfast is fair. The only negative point was the check in, very slow ....

The room is great, one TV did not work in the living room. Room 441 and the microwave made a popping sound which made me uncomfortable to use it. loved how big the room is, being able to control the temperature, wish the ocean view was from the hotel room.

The physical location of the hotel was great! The hotel maintenance wasn't so great, my room in particular had one of two TVs that didn't work, a lamp that didn't work. The bed wasn't soo comfy and barely had any blankets on it. I wouldn't revisit this location

We stayed for 2 nights before our cruise and found this hotel to be just what we needed for a relaxing start to our holiday, we loved the ocean view room, the convenience of a very good breakfast included in the price, the room had a very large fridge and kitchen just great for sorting your own lunch, great for a picnic on the beach also very useful […] was Publix supermarket across the road. This hotel is also has a bus stop directly outside with a very good bus service, we managed to get to Aventura shopping mall and down to South Beach all within half an hour bus ride for $2. Older hotel but well kept, suites have actual separate kitchen (small) and living room. Great family oriented neighborhood. Short beach with steep dropoff halfway. Very friendly staff and other customers were repeat customers which is good sign. Large breakfast bar well stocked.

This is a very nice older hotel right on the beach and convenient to restaurants, grocery and public transport. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but if you insist on the most modern of bathrooms then this is not for you. Pool area is nice, but not resort expansive. This hotel is by definition an average hotel by Miami resort hotel standards. When you see the 4 and 5 star hotels and level of luxury they have, you'll see what I mean, however you are looking at at least 2 times the price per night for those. The room was nice with a kitchen and a suite layout (bedroom was a separate room). The location is right on […] A1A and is on the beach, so thats also a plus. It's also very conveniently located around all sorts of restaurants, shops, and stores (including a Publix) within very short walking distance. Lastly, the daily complimentary breakfast they offered was very nice. It was a full scale breakfast with, eggs, sausage, french toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, juices, and coffee. The limitations of this place is the two pools are very basic and not that large and there is no jacuzzi or many other amenities. There isn't an exercise room, sauna, lounge, or bar or anything like that on site, so if those things are important to you, then you might want to upgrade to another hotel. Also, there is an additional $19 a night parking fee, which seems to be the norm in the Miami area. If you're looking for a hotel that its on the beach and is pretty comfortable that you won't have to break the bank for, this is the type of place for you. If you want more amenities, features, and luxuries with your hotel, you will want to find another place. Les mer

Old and outdated. A/C fan sounded like it was going to break and fall out of the ceiling. $18/ night for parking, but think that goes for the whole area. Very disappointing. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel which makes it easier for getting downtown and to south beach.

I think the front desk staff when I was on should be fired. Our housekeeper was incredible. She should be the customer relations manager and I would have her fired the man and women who checked me in. They told me to come back in 3 hours albeit I was very early. The lady at desk was eating lunch and I felt like I was disturbing her. They were put on […] the spot when my hero another staff member who shall remain nameless to protect her job told them my room was in fact ready for me to check in. Basically, I think they couldn't be bothered to check me in on there shift. Fire them! The hotel was run done but very clean and the view was spectacular and convenient to Miami. Whilst the general cleanliness of the bed linens / towels and room was ok the furnishings / carpets / fittings were a bit tired to say the least. I picked this hotel because it's location suited my purposes for the night of my stay but I don't think i would use it again.

As we were new to the Miami area we had orginally thought we booked in the "hip, cool" area. We didn't. This motel was ok. Rooms were clean and tidy, staff were friendly and it was a place for us to sleep. The "private beach" needs some (alot) of work put into it. It is basically just a fenced off area of sand. No views, no chairs/tables, no shading […] trees. Very disappointing when on both sides is what would seem like an oasis compared to this. Location was difficult for travellers without a car. Although there is varied food/shops just around then corner (Publix too). Shower temp went hot/cold/hot throughout your shower. Walls are very thin, we could hear everything in the room next to us as well as above us. I would recommend this place more to a family that has their own transportation. Les mer

I liked the area, the hotel was right on the beach and very close to markets, boutiques, and the Bal Harbor shops. Despite the housekeeper's best effort's the rooms were out dated and grimey, the carpet was the worse, within minutes the soles of my feet were black with grime. The bed was comfy, but the windows in the rooms did not open and it was stuffy. […] The front desk staff was hit or miss, the nickle and dime you death....long flight and you want to check in before three, that will be 27.00. I was also very stressed as I needed to work, the internet barely worked, they did send someone up and I managed to get one bar in certain parts of the room, to slow to get anything done so I will be working like a madman back home. The housekeepers were the best part, they were kind, caring, and very hard working, as was the grounds staff. Les mer

Well from check-in it started off with surprising news that you could only park one car and that there was a nightly cost. Then we get to the room and it was small and looked nothing like the pictures. The room was clean, but very uncomfortable. The furniture was old and beat up, you would sit on the couch and you sunk into it. We also noticed that […] the hotel had a bug issue, a bad one. The free wi-fi was extremely slow, let me rephrase that it was suicide inducing. Last but not least when I checked out I forgot a shirt and pair of jeans that I had brought on my personal hanger. When I went back to pick them up, they were given to me in a garbage bag and without my hanger. I will never stay at this hotel ever again. I am even going to write to Best Western and make sure they are aware of what is going on at this location. Les mer

The hotel is literally right on the beach! The room was extremely clean - housekeeping did an excellent job of cleaning the room each day. We were pleasantly surprised to find a full kitchen with a stove, oven, fridge, etc...so we saved money by eating in the room. It was more like an apartment with a big bedroom a lots of closet space. It was wonderful […] getting up in the mornings and going to the beach and also walking on the trails along the beach. Will definitely stay there again! Only drawback is that you have to pay about $20.00/day to park and sometimes it's a challenge to find space. Les mer

Shabby on the outside, but the rooms are spotless, spacious and comfortable. All right on the beach, with a Publix and restaurants around the corner. Really great value.

i reserved a room months in advance.but the lady at the desk was rude and told us even if we reserved a room that doesnt guarentee us the room we wanted.she tryed to give us a king bed.i reserved a room with two beds.i have never had an issue like this before.or have been treated like that from a front office clerk.i also had asked for a 1st floor because […] i have a heart condition.but that didnt happen either.i will never stay there again when we are going thru town.and i was also told there was shuttle service to the airport. but there was not. so i had to pay 44.00 dollars both ways.so thats 88.00 dollars i would have saved if i would have stayed somewhere else.or spent the extra money to avoid all of the hassle we received. People staying at the hotel were very loud. Each room can fit approximately 6 ppl. I think families take advantage and bring like 10. The tvs barely worked. Only like 15 channels. The Internet was free but slow. The good thing was that it was on the beach and close to a lot of restaurants. The heated pool was also a plus. Great hotel if you are on a budget. and like the beach. Rooms are suites nicely kept. Amenities include path for jogging 50 ft before you get to the beach, Volleyball area, two Pools but lounging area around it very small on one and the other non existent. Good value! The hotel is relatively small compared to other hotels in the area. You have the sausages and eggs breakfast with pastries, cereals and juices, I can’t complain, it was good.
