Stay Inn - Manchester

Dette er ett bra hotell hvis du ikke vil bruke mye penger på hotellet. Det ligger 10 min gangavstand fra sentrum. Rommet var rent. Badet var litt lite. Servicen var bra, det var døgnåpen resepsjon, med kjøkken og bar hvor man kunne kjøpe mat og drikke fra morgen til sent på kvelden.

Meget bra standard og ditto service.

Helt greit hotell for korte opphold i Manchester. Kort spasertur til Manchester sentrum, stille og rolig om natten og morgenen.

The bar smelled of the burned grease from the kitchen. The central heating in my room which was featured in the hotels own promotional material didn't exist, which meant that I had to use the wall heater that was meant as a boost to the system to heat the room from scratch. This had 2 settings, basically roast, or off. The window in the room howled […] when the wind blew against it even though it was fully closed. The extractor fan in the bathroom also didn't work. The staff on the other hand were very good at their jobs, it's a shame that the hotel building let them down. Les mer

Stayed for one night and was pleased with our stay at this Stay Inn hotel. It was clean and staff were very freindly room was small and a bit dated but tidy iIdeal for a short visit.

I enjoyed my four nights stay The area is under regeneration but where the hotel is situated it is quiet and it is easy to reach Manchester city centre in fact I walked it a few times. The staff are very helpful and friendly,the breakfast was excellent and a wide range of meals in the evening.Prices weren't too bad either. Basic cookie cutter hotel, clean and functional, experts in frying everything. Some staff could do with customer service training, especially those with poor English and even poorer manners. Very few understood things like "please" and "thank-you" and were heard shouting at guests across the dining room if they hadn't paid for their buffet breakfast […] before serving themselves. (Nobody explained that this was required mind you.) Evening staff were all good humoured and polite, and to be fair the worst manners were from one particular member of morning staff. Bathrooms are tiny, you can bearly turn around in them, more of a pod than a room. I had nightmares of Japanese pod hotels whislt staying there! Corridors noisy at night, windows let in a lot of road noise, and there is no lift, so if you are on the second floor, lots of stairs. Breakfast was fine, choice of full english or continental, and dining room was clean. There is food available at other times times too, mostly burgers and pizza, with chips. I would rather pay more and get a better quality hotel than this, I would not go back, as there is no excuse for rude staff, even if the hotel is at the budget end. Les mer

Staying at this hotel was comfortable and clean. Didn't like the smells coming from the restraunt in the evening and our meal was cold.

Local to MEN and surrounding shops a comfy Ideal overnight stop

this hotel was very basic, i would only stay one night for the price i believe it was way too much for the room. the tv was very small and about 10 years old... i only stayed for one night on a night out so was only there to sleep. the surrounding neighborhood was awful. the hotel was over looked by a council estate high rise flats. i would only recommend […] this hotel for one night and no more. The bathroom was incredibly small but It was clean however i am used to hotels of a higher caliber. i can say this is the worst hotel ive stayed in but it wasnt terrible. Les mer

When you book this hotel make sure you are clear what is included in the price you may have to pay more if you want a bath in your room which maybe ok as long as you are told, so you can make a true comparison on price with other like for like hotels Apart form that the staff were outstanding

We chose this hotel because it's just a 5 to 10 minute walk from the MEN. It's also an easy walk to the centre of Manchester. The hotel is clean and fairly comfortable but very basic and dated. The ensuite was cramped with the sink against the showher cubicle. The shower was great though. Extra pillows and blankets are available in the room as was tea […] and coffee. The TV was very small and on a wall bracket above the wardrobe, We didn't watch it but I imagine it would have been an uncomfortable experience. Our main reason for chosing this hotel was it was cheap and just along from the MEN, free car parking and meant we could walk to the concert and back. For that reason it was everything we needed. We could have booked fancier but not at this price. Les mer

The hotel was bog standard and the room we had was the same but thats all we needed...just some were to get our head down for the night. I'd certainly stay again for the price we paid. One gripe I did have was the food we ordered from the hotel. I ordered quiche, jacket potato and salad and the portion was tiny and everything looked and tasted like […] it had just come out of the microwave. We stayed here to go to a concert at the City of Manchester Stadium. It was a 5 minute walk into town where we caught a taxi costing £7. After the concert we walked back, about 2.5 miles, as the roads were so congested a taxi or bus wasn't a realistic option. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the room basic but fine the bed was a bit hard but […] the breakfast wasn't worth the extra money. Les mer

Excellent location for MEN Arena, and City Centre, only 5minute walk. Hotel was spotless and staff were very friendly and helpful.

TINY AND COLD ROOM. ISOLATION OF WINDOW IS TERRIBLE. HEATHER DON´T WORK CORRECTLY DON´T STAY AT THIS HOTEL

The hotel was idealy situated for what we needed, it also had available on site car parking which was important. The hotel overall was pleasant, reception areas were clean and tidy, the satff were all friendly and helpful. One issue that we had was the cleanliness of the bathroom. I stubbed my foot on the base of the shower cubicle as I exited the shower […] and this caused a spray of scum to cover the shower tray where I had just taken a shower! Not a pleasant experience. Very convenient, 5 minute or so walk, for MEN which was why we chose this hotel. Also parking available. Didn't use the bar or catering. Hotel room was clean but could do with smartening up as it was dowdy & not very appealing.

The hotel is in a really good location for central Manchester and the MEN. We found this is one of a few that offer free parking. The staff were very pleasant and friendly The room was clean though fairly basic and not very big. The bathroom was very small. Overall it was fine for a 1 night stay.

We enjoyed a clean, friendly and pleasant experience at the Stay Inn. Having gone for a night out in Manchester (Appollo theatre) it was perfect for its proximity to the city centre and other sights. Ideal for the MEN too for future reference! Great car-parking arrangements too. Thanks to all.

Stayed here 3 nights, very happy with it for several reasons. 1: Walking distance to the M.E.N. Arena and City Center of Manchester. 2: Nice sized(not tiny like some people claim), CLEAN rooms with the essentials you will need supplied. i.e. kettle with tea bags,coffee,sugar,milk. TV, hair dryer, good sized table (for those business people with laptops) […] en-suite in every room with towels, shower caps, decent powered shower, soap liquid etc. The rooms are centrally heated, however their is an oil filled heater in each room you can put on if your cold (you dont be charged for it) 3: The hotel has a bar/restaurant downstairs with breakfast being served from 7am to 9:30 am (you do have to pay for the breakfast, it doesnt come included in your price. full english breakfast is £7.50) 4: Private car parking in the hotel which is monitored inside by cameras and the gates be's closed at nights however their is always somebody at the desk no matter what time so you can enjoy a good night out and they will open the gate for you at any time 5: And last but not least the staff. Very helpful and friendly, booked taxi's for me, and the bar closes at 1am however they served me well after it with no problems! Now for the negatives, which to be honest are few. No telephones in the rooms which rules out wake up calls! Can be a LITTLE noisy with the traffic outside if on the first floor. Second floor you cant hear a thing. Stayed in room 128 overnight on 5/8/09. Our party was myself and my two sons, 14 & 18. Room was VERY small. Bathroom was minute. On the positive side staff were very friendly and cooperative.

Booked to see Beyonce at the M.E.N so wanted a hotel within walking distance. The hotel offers a free car park and was only a 5minute walk to the arena. The hotel was clean and comfortable ; ideal for an overnight stay

With this hotel you get what you pay for a reasonable price for a reasonable room, the bathroom was spotless with an excellent power shower, clean fluffy towels and clean bedding, its an ideal location especially for the MEN, i would certianly use this hotel again.

the staff were kind and helpfull the hotel was basic but clean. the only thing i could say about this hotel is the matteress's they are so thin i thought i was laying on an ironing board really bad. apart from this it was a pleasent stay the hotel is in a central location with easy excess to everything

The hotel was very basic. The rooms seemed clean, but smelt a bit of damp and the beds were a bit damp too. It was Ok for somewhere to lay your head though and the staff were very friendly.

I found the rooms and ensuite quite small but the beds are comfy, tea making facilities fine and only 15 minutes walk from Deansgate. There was a taxi company and shop located next door which was handy and a decent pub about 5 minutes walk on the way to town which served a great breakfast for £4.50. All in all not too bad.

Stay Inn er et fornuftigt hotel/hostel - prisen taget i betragtning. Madrasserne var under al kritik, da de var gamle og komforten var i bund, men deruder er Stay Inn et fornuftigt og billigt alternativ i Manchester Centrum. Personalet var meget venlige og var meget behjælpelige med alt fra informationer om Manchester til reservation af Taxa mv. Hotellet […] ligger gang ca. 15 minutter fra Picadelly Gardens, som er byen centrum for trams, byliv osv. Hotellet er placeret i Salford, som af indbyggerne i Manchester, betragtes som den dårligere del af Manchester, men dette har ingen indflydelse, da det ligger i et roligt kvarter med bilforhandlere osv. Konklusionen for mig/os er, at hotellet er fornuftigt til prisen. Les mer

Reserve una habitacion triple y lo que realmente era una doble, con una cama doble y sobre esta una cama cruzada. No teniamos lugar para movernos. De ninguna manera respondio a comodidades básicas. La ubicacion del hotel es buena, pero de baja calidad.
