Vi var to voksne med to halvstore barn på 12 og 14. Rommene er så store at det blir god plass til to ekstrasenger, i tillegg til at det er eget garderoberom og egen gang, slik at man kan skifte ol i fred og ro uten å lage kø på badet. Super beligenhet i gåavstand fra det meste! Hyggelig og hjelpsom betjening, kjempegod frokost med godt og sunt utvalg! Rent, trygt, god beliggenhet ifht s-bahn og u-bahn. Mange spisesteder og barer i gaten, spesialbutikker, frisør, apotek osv. Imøtekommende personale, fenomenal frokost. Gratis flaskevann, kaffe og kaker. Og rimelig pris. Anbefales.

Hotellet ligger i Øst Berlin. Dette er et noe rolig strøk, men alikevel nærhet til gode restauranter og shopping. Servicen på hotellet var upåklagelig. Vi var mye i Mitte, men det skapte ingen problemer da taxi var rimelig. Anbefales hvis man ikke vil betale for mye for hotellet.

Hyggelig hotel, rent og moderne. Veldig hyggelig betjening.Fin frokostrestaurant i toppetasje med takterrasse. Hotelleti rolig fint strøk, med mange hyggelige restauranter og barer. Otto anbefales.

Vi bodde der i 4 netter og var strålende fornøyd med oppholdet. Hyggelig førsteinntrykk, med resepsjonist som fulgte oss til rommet. Ble med en gang spurt om vi var interessert i opplysninger om restauranter i nærområdet, som alle var blitt testet av ansatte. Også generelt om transport etc ble informert om uten at vi måtte spørre. Frokost (stor buffet) […] fra 7 - 12!! Hvem kan slå det? Senere kaffe, kaker, vann, juice tilgjengelig for fri avbenyttelse. Flaskevann kunne vi hente i resepsjonen. Alt i alt et topp sted, som vi gjerne kommer tilbake til. Gangavstand til Kurfustendamm. Les mer

Info som ikke er nevnt på siden: - resepsjonen er kun åpen mellom 7-23. Kommer inn med romnøkkel utenom disse tidene. - ingen minibar eller kjøleskap på rommet. Finnes en automat for drikke/snacks i kjelleren. - heis går kun til halvetasjer, litt upraktisk med barnevogn - kaffe/te og kaker er tilgjengelige gratis i toppetasjen (matsalen) til kl. 21. - […] fantastisk bra frokost. Til og med champagne for de som føler for det på morran. :) Ellers var det nærme til både zoo, undergrunn og handlegaten Ku'damm. Koselige restauranter i nærheten, rolig og pent strøk. Anbefaller både Pasta-Basta og Belmondo som er rett over gaten. Vi bodde 4 netter på Hotel Otto og hadde comfort room. Bortsett fra at det ble litt bæring av barnevogn og at vi ikke kunne ha kaldt drikke på rommet, er vi strålende fornøyd med hotellet. Vil si at det er veldig barnevennlig ellers. Junior satte bl.a. stor pris på "surprice"-knappen i heisen. Den laget en kykkeliky-lyd. :) Siden det var et stort walk-in-closet med eget vindu, satte vi babysengen der. Veldig praktisk. Betjeningen på hotellet var kjempehyggelig og servicevennlig. Hit drar vi gjerne igjen! Les mer

We spent three nights on 6th floor, enought space and well equipped room. Very nice breakfast and lounge room, service minded staff. Good restaurants close to the hotel. Short distance to the Tegel airport, both with bus and not expensive taxi ride either.

Flott frokosthotell praktisk plassert mht kommunikasjonsmidler i en av Berlins "oaser" Savignyplatz som inneholdt koselige restauranter, butikker osv. Lite bad, ellers alt ok og nytt. Anbefales!

Hotel Otto er kort og godt meget bra i forhold til prisen du betaler: Et slags design-hotell light, med kult og minimalistisk preg. Rommet vårt var oppgradert, så meget stort og fint (med walk-in closet!) Gaten det ligger i er rolig, så selv rom med vindu ut mot trafikken var helt uproblematisk. Personalet på Otto var meget hjelpsomme, frokostbufféen […] fortreffelig (og med en takterasse og utsikt som fikk oss til å ønske at det var juni, ikke november). Hotellet ligger i området Tiergarten / Charlottenburg, så et stykke vest i byen. Restaurant-/utestedtilbudet var fortsatt meget godt, og atmosfæren vel så god som (og mindre turistpreget enn) Mitte. Kort reisetid med offentlig transport i Berlin gjør derfor Hotel Otto definitivt til et alternativ vi vil vurdere igjen. Stort pluss for transport til Scönfeldt (hotellet ligger 7-8 min. gange fra Banhof Zoo med direktetog til flyplassen) Les mer

Moderne, komfortabelt, perfekt beliggenhet og en fantastisk service. Dette hotellet anbefales på det aller varmeste. Personalet var utrolig serviceminded. De har laget en firesiders liste med restaurantanbefalinger utfra sine egne erfaringer, alle i nærområdet, og alle tipsene var strålende. Dette er et strøk som virkerlig kryr av hyggelige kneiper […] og flotte spisesteder. Frokostbuffe med musserende vin, frisk frukt, nystekte pannekaker - plassert i toppetasjen med nydelig utsikt og hyggelig terrasse. Og åpen til 12... Gratis ettermiddagskaffe og kaker samme sted. Og alt gir en følelse av at gjestene virkelig blir tatt vare på. Deilige rom, det vi hadde var utstyrt med eget fullt utstyrt kjøkken. Til og med heisturen er en spesiell opplevelse...:-) Les mer

Vi hadde et meget hyggelig opphold i påsken 2010. Hotellet er trivelig og sentralt og frokosten var super. Anbefales!

We were very surprised at our stay on Otto. This hotell is centrally situated in a quiet part of Berlin. We were welcomed by a VERY service-minded person at the reception (female). The rooms were big and well furnished. Also the entire facility was very clean and well attended. Good and private parking space. The hotel suited me exactly. The rooms were large and comfortable and the hotel is in a quiet ,tree lined street. It is in easy reach of three stations, including one going direct to the airport and it is in a neighbourhood with many small and pleasant restaurants. I do not like large glitzy hotels and this suited us perfectly. I would go back there […] any time. I can't finish without mentioning the helpfulness of the reception staff at all times. Les mer

Spacious rooms, stylish decor, great location, but their idea of a double bed is two twins pushed together, each with their own single duvet. I requested a double bed and was told (after I arrived) that their are no double beds in the hotel. Not great for a comfortable, friendly night's sleep.

I spent 3 nights in this hotel, which is in the western side of Berlin in a nice quiet neighborhood. It was very nice and comfortable but after staying a 4th night at the Novotel in eastern Berling, which is closer to downtown berlin, at a lower rate, I feel this hotel it a little over priced.

Hotel Otto is a spotless establishment. I placed a reservation for a single room, but was upgraded to a double one. As I arrived early in the morning, several hours before official check-in time and my room wasn't ready yet, I was offered a free breakfast - which was very nice. They serve a very good breakfast everyday (though a tad expensive). The […] hotel is located in a quite posh residential neighborhood in West-Berlin. As most of the attractions the city has to offer are located in the east, you will find yourself spending some time on Berlin's excellent public transport system, which isn't too bad since there is a U-Bahn station just 1 min. away, and an S-Bahn station 5 mins. away. Also, the X9 bus from the airport, stops just by the U-Bahn station, which is, as mentioned, 1 minute away from the hotel. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. Les mer

We are delighted that we chose to stay at the Hotel Otto. We felt that its location in a chic and safe area of Berlin with lovely shops and restaurants nearby, and very convenient to both the sBahn and the uBahn, was ideal. And we loved almost everything about the hotel, including the fine standard of design. We particularly liked the afternoon and […] early evening access to complimentary refreshments with a view over the city from the outside balcony. The staff was also excellent. The only thing we did not like was being in room three, as it faces directly into a wall surrounding an exterior staircase only a few feet from the window. We would suggest that in booking this hotel you specifically ask NOT to be in room 103, 203, 303, etc. Upper floors would probably be preferable too. Les mer

This is a small hotel in a quiet neighborhood filled with a wonderful array of interesting restaurants. The hoteliers are extremely attentive, and provide service far above any common standards. Our room (601) was spacious and included a small but absolutely complete kitchen and dining area. Our rate included breakfast, and even without the breakfast […] plan everybody is entitled to afternoon snacks and unlimited bottled water. The Hotel Otto is a member of Slow Food, and they serve extremely interesting breakfast and afternoon snacks. They do not attempt to economize: the food is truly excellent, and it generally includes smoked fish of various kinds, a variety of fresh fruits, delicious pastries, quiches and other delicacies, in addition to more conventional breakfast options. Berlin is a big city and the hotel is centrally located, but it is not adjacent to many tourist sites. Realistically, for example, it's about half an hour from Alexanderplatz (or possibly a bit less if you walk to the Zoo station and avoid a change of trains.) We would definitely like to return. Quiet location away from centre but convenient for both U-Bahn and S-Bahn which provide an excellent service. Huge choice of restaurants in surrounding streets. Tried the Aida and the Greek just down the road and would recommend both. Good selection of foods available if you opt to take breakfast at the hotel. The rooms seem very warm and there is no […] aircon - only a fan provided. This may be an issue for some but is my only negative comment. If you plan to go to The Reichstag, you now need to book this in advance with at least 3 days notice (you can book online). This only came in last November and is therefore not mentioned in most Guide Books. We were unaware of this and consequently were unable to visit. Les mer

We read only positive comments about Otto Hotel and were ready to be disappointed. We weren't. We arrived at 11 p.m. but checkin was flawless. The staff without fail was helpful and friendly at all times. The room was large and comfortable. There should have been another chair in the room, but we neglected to ask for it and there weren't enough hangers, […] also easily remedied. The bed was just right and the street was quiet. The hotel is located in Charlottenburg, an upscale area with lots of restaurants nearby. We'll gladly stay at the hotel again and will recommend it to our friends. It's a real 'find'. Les mer

I stayed here for 3 days. I had a comfort room and it was very spacious, with a sofa and walk in wardrobe, lot's of light and a very comfortable bed. I tried to change rooms at first, worried about noise from the street, but it turned out the street was very quiet, so no issues there. What made my stay so good was the impeccable quality of the service, […] the staff were amazing, willing to help in any way they could and incredibly polite and friendly. The location and facilities of Hotel Otto were superb. There was a free breakfast offer publicised by the hotel via Trip Advisor, and this is well worth taking advantage of - the breakfast was amazing! Even without the offer, the free coffee. tea and cakes available all day in the lounge (which is on the top floor with a lovely balcony) set this hotel […] apart from the rest. It made for a great place to take a pause in our day. The location is superb too - only a very short walk from convenient U-bahn, S-bahn and bus stations. (It's 15-20 door-to-door from Tegel airport via the X9 bus). Lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and shops are also just outside making it a top choice for a short break in Berlin. Highly recommended. We came to Berlin for watching two operas by Deutsche Oper and had stayed in Hotel Otto for three nights. We had enjoyed the rooftop afternnoon tea, desert and view so much. Too bad! we could not get up early enough to have any breakfast due to attending long performances at night. The hotel is very clean, modern, cozy and staff is very helpful. If […] you have many luggages, please ask for help because there are few stairs you have to climb though it has a lift. We definitely will go back again! Les mer

I was very impressed with this place. The room had two single beds as requested, we also had a small kitchen (fridge, microwave, silverware, sink, coffeee machine, etc...), They also had a sitting area where someone could sleep. All the furniture was new and looked trendy. The room was super clean. We were greeted my Maxi on arrival, very friendly and […] helpful. She even helped us to the room and told us about the FREE water bottle service!! I have travelled all over Europe and I have to say this is the best value I have ever received. Everything was perfect, public transportation was minutes away, and your located near the Zoo which has express train near it too. Tons of restaurants and place to eat. Bakeries up and down the street. 100% recommend it and already thinking about headin back to Berlin, in which case will stay here! Les mer

The hotel was simple, clean and the staff were helpful. The usual things you expect from a hotel were not there however; bar, restaurant and room service which was a bit disappointing.

We were so impressed with this hotel - from the friendly helpful staff at check-in, through to the quality of the room and the fantastic breakfast. The hotel is located in a great area with good transport links and lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. We stayed in a studio and we were so impressed with the size of the room, the amenities, the furnishings, […] and the general comfort and style of the room. The hotel provided a great breakfast as well as coffee and cake throughout the afternoon and evening. We will definitely stay here again and have already recommended to several people. Great hotel! What made this place such a winner for me is that the staff was so friendly and helpful. For the price, its totally nice, even though the internet service is a bit wonky . Clean. comfortable, and well located. No doubt I would stay here again. Everything you need a hotel to be, even though its not luxury (although still very nice).

Spent two nights at the Hotel Otto and the place was perfect. Quiet neighborhood with lots of restaurants and bakeries nearby. Short walk to U and S bahns. Having arrived very early, we were immediately invited to have (complementary) breakfast while our room was being readied. Impressive breakfast every day, included in price, served in rooftop dining room with balcony. Excellent and friendly reception staff with good restaurant recommendations for dinner (none in the hotel itself). Although at the back […] and with unimpressive view, our room was huge, modern and comfortable. This is a small hotel with very limited facilities and a small lift. Location in West Berlin within walking distance of shops, Zoo station for airport express and other stations, including underground. It's a shame I wanted to like this hotel. Our room was ground floor overlooking the street. This asn't a huge problem as it was a relatively quiet area. The room was completely characterless. Like a square dorm room. No pictures on the while wall and grey carpet added no cheer to the place. The bed looked comfortable but to be honest I had the worst […] 3 nights sleep I had had in years. The pillows were way too soft and offered no support, the room was baking hot with no way to turn it down. The hot nakes pipes running up the wall in the bathroom overheated the room beyond endurance or rather to the point where I couldn't cool down enough to sleet. Breakfast was very nice in the lounge on the 7th floor. Nice enough views, a nice space and free wifi. Ultimately however, relatively, inexpensive the room or good the breakfast the heat and the bed / pillow comfort made this hotel a fail for me. Les mer

I really liked the hotel - it is modern but comfy. I had a huge nice room and the breakfast (was not included in booking) was also great. Staff was helpful and nice. As a minus: I wish the room would have had a fridge.

Great little hotel and the staff was very very helpful. Everything was within walking distance...there are lot's of cute restaurants about two blocks away.

My main complaint was that they put me in a room on the ground floor that had a big pillar in front of the window (Room 3). Even on a sunny day there was little light in the room. I would consider returning but being sure to be on a higher floor.

das Hotel per se ist SUPER: schönes Zimmer, gute Betten & Matratzen, sehr nettes Personal, hervorragendes Frühstück (wirklich 1A!!!). Einziger Nachteil: bei der Renovation wurden die Fenster nicht erneuert - das heisst, die Strasse und den Verkehr dort erlebt man 'live' mit, insbesondere wenn morgens der Müll geholt wird... das nächste Mal lassen wir […] uns ein Zimmer nach hinten zum Parkplatz geben. Dann ist's wirklich 100% empfehlenswert. Les mer

Ein sehr praktisches und sympathisches Hotel. In der Strasse einige Restaurants. Mit dem ÖV sehr einfach zu erreichen. Gehe gerne wieder Mal.
