Hotellet må være et av de beste i forhold til pris, beliggenhet og kvalitet. Nabo til Hilton Waikiki Village med alle fasiliteter. Det er en del av et kompleks med mange typer utleieformer, og det kan derfor være vanskelig å finne selve respesjonen til din hotell. Taxi-sjåføren skjønte ikke hva eller hvor Waikiki Marina Resort Hotell var. Men Ilikai […] Hotell ER navnet som løser alle problemer. det vet ALLE hvor er. Pool was small and there wasn't enough chairs/loungers for people at pool. Internet service did not seem to work, we could not access at any time we tried.

Great place to stay. The staff are wonderful (Thanks to Kent for the late check out) and close to anything you want in Waikiki. Well laid out room with everything you need for your stay. Highly recommended!

Great value for the money. I would go back anytime.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It was our first time in Honolulu so we didn't know what to expect. The Hotel room was clean with a small kitchenette and all the cutlery, pots and pans etc were clean. The hotel is situated near the west end of Waikiki beach and also a ten minute walk to Walmart and the Ala Moana shopping centre. If you walked […] east along the beach it was a beautiful walk, alternatively if you walked east along the main st it was a 15 minute walk into Waikiki itself. There is tons to do with the beach right there and the shops were fantastic. The only 2 downsides for us were that there were no Bar BQ's on the balconys and that the day we left we had to check out by noon but our flight wasn't till night and they had no room availiable to shower and get changed in after a day by the beach. We did shower at the pool and change in a bathroom on the second floor but a wee bit more privacy would have been nice. Everyone was friendly, absolutely no complaints with the staff or the locals. Great location, nicely remodeled and maintained. Rooftop bar/restaurant with awesome harbor views. Easy walk to beach.

This hotel is a good compromise of location, service, value compared to other hotel options. the 25$ valet parking was worth not having to hunt for parking and convenience. The only drawback was the nearby construction and street-noise, but I suspect that would be less if you got an ocean-view room, and could be managed easily with earplugs. When on holidays would appreciate it if the beds were made daily and not just a trash and towels service

We recently stayed at the Waikiki Marina Resort with our 1 year old daughter. The room was great as it had a full kitchen. Made it easy to prepare meals for her and stock up the fridge. Its not a resort but a nice hotel so as long as you know that! The Waikiki Marina is just a few floors inside the Ilikai hotel. Make sure you tell any cab drivers, tours […] etc that you are at the Ilikai as it can cause some confusion! My only complaint would be the road noise. Our room faced Alo Moana Blvd and the road noise and the water from the Lobby water feature kept us awake. It would be worth paying the extra for an ocean/marina view room i imagine it would be alot more peaceful.The only other note is that the hotel doesnt do breakfast but we did have a kitchen and if you are desperate there is McDonalds accross the road! Also there are the ABC shops on just about every corner. The best value however is foodland at the shopping centre or food pantry. The location of this hotel is good. 10 min walk to the Alo Moana shopping centre and about 25 mins into the main strip of shops & restaurants and of course Waikiki Beach. The Cheesecake factory is a must for dining! We only wish we had eaten there most days and just tried different things on the menu as we had a few average more expensive meals at other places. I would definatley recommend this hotel it was nice, clean and good location. The staff were helpful, we booked a few tours through them and we never had any problems with pick ups etc. The Polynesian culture centre was a highlight lovely dinner and the show was fantastic. We also went on a whale watching cruise and to Kualoa Ranch. Lots of options to do things with a baby and we found everyone to be very accommodating. Les mer

Good place to stay as it was quieter and less frenetic than Waikiki,also first off the airport shuttle!!! Kitchen very useful and room and lanai were a good size. We would recommend the hotel to our friends

This hotel is worth the price! Kitchen is very convenient with hungry kids first thing in the morning...saves money too! There was construction that we could hear throughout the night even on the 14th floor! But most nights we were so tired, it didn't really interfere! Great location close to water etc. Okay apartments with kitchen and balcony. Clean but not the most modern building. Be aware that it is a separate reception on the second floor of the Ilikai Tower. Nice Italian restaurant on the top floor of the tower.

The price and size of the Junior Suite was good. However, be aware that you are not permitted to check in prior to 4 PM and check out is 10AM. Since I was there for one night, it was rather rushed.

We would definitely recommend to others and would also stay here again if the opportunity arises. Comfortable room, awesome location, so close to shops, restaurants, parks you name it. The staff were very helpful, every single one of them, we had no problems whatsoever Thanks The Grays New Zealand

From bird’s eye view, the hotel is shaped as a “Y”. One wing is apartments and condos, another wing is for time-share holders, and the last is for the hotel. Waikiki Marina Resort works with Illikai Hotel by encouraging their hotel stayers to attend a 90-minute presentation on owning a time-share in the building. If you book a trip with the concierge, they offer you this option. My husband and I did it to receive two-for-one pricing on a snorkel dive. It was worth it for us. They did get a tad pushy towards the end, but we made it clear from the beginning we were just there to get the discount, and we did. the location is great at the end of waikiki beach, close to the marina and lagoon. we made use of the kitchen for breakfast and sack lunches for the beaches and touring. only draw back is sleeping on the fold out couch if you have 4 adults. wasnt great but not terrible. overall it was a great hotel, beautiful lobby. fastanstic dining opportunities in […] the hotel and closeby. would definantely stay here again. First, the Waikiki Marina Resort is located INSIDE the Ilikai.You go to the 2nd floor to register. I was on the 3rd floor in a studio suite with full kitchen. Nice balcony though the view was of Ala Moana Blvd. The other side of the hall has a view of the lagoon, the marina and the beach. There was only towel and trash service, which is fine by me, […] I was there for a few days on business. With the lanai doors shut I heard none of the construction going on in street directly in front of the hotel. Is right next to Hilton Hawaiian Village, and there is now a bar and grill in the hotel with a nice view of the marina. Les mer

The room was very clean and comfortable. The Marina Waikiki condo was very convenient, walking distance to Ala Moana shopping and Waikiki shopping and dining. I would definitely recommend. The entire staff was very courteous and concerned for our well being.

Nice staff. Kent helped us with lots of patience. You can tell that he wants to do a good job. The location is next to perfect. It is not really in the middle of Waikiki, but on the edge. Parking for $25 per night is mandatory. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much. For the price, I highly recommend it.

It's hard to say anything bad about this condo style hotel on the western side of the beach. Close to everything, clean, polite, nice big room. We had a fantastic time. Firstly, you need to ask for Ikikai Hotel at the Marina as the Waikiki Marina is part of a hotel share and it causes much confusion from taxi drivers when you try and get there. It is recommended that you phone the Waikiki Marina Resort to get details on how to get there from the airport. Unfortunately we didn't know any of this and experienced a costly […] runaround - 2 taxis and lugging suitcases. The rooms were lovely, large and self-contained. We really appreciated having a laundry on our floor and the staff helped with changing money for the machines. It is an easy walk to Waikiki Beach and is away from a lot of the touristy areas. A local bus stops right outside the hotel and there are restaurants and shops close by. Macey's department store and designer shopping complex is a couple of blocks away - we walked to it. Our room was a bit noisy due to roadworks (they are laying underground power lines everywhere), so I would check to see if there were any planned when you check in. They work from 6pm to 6am. On the whole, I would recommend this Resort as it was convenient and comfortable. Les mer

The Waikiki Marina Resort was asbsolutely perfect for us. It was right on the beach front, a short walk to the shopping mall and close to the action of Waikiki. Having a kitchen in our room was great because we could make breakfast, eat out for lunch and dinner if we wanted. The hotel staff were extremely professional, wonderfully helpful and offered […] things like book exchange, activities desk and a bingo competition card. I would go back to the Waikiki Marina Resort as soon as I can take my next holiday. Hopefully by then the renovations of the old tennis court area are complete and the drains in the room have been cleaned out as these were a little backed up. My daughter and I just spent a week at this hotel and we had a room with a kitchen. It's actually through Shell Vacations and you check in on the 2nd floor. The service is excellent and the location was perfect for us. It's right next door to the Royal Hawaiin Hilton and the beach is just minutes away. They have fireworks on Friday night at the beach. […] The trolleys all stop right out in front of the hotel. Getting the kitchen was fabulous for us and it was fully stocked with everything that you needed. The hotel name is The Illikai and the rooms with the kitchens are actually Shell Vacations, I know very confusing but I would recommend this hotel to everyone I know especially if you have family with you. Everything was great. Just right for person(s) that are going to Hawaii to see the Island of Hawaii. Nice Balcony as well. I ready other reviews of this hotel and seen some bad ones. I didn't have that same experience.

Very reasonable rate, and right off the beach and lagoon on the west end of Waikiki, walking distance to the Ala Moana mall. The rooms in the Waikiki Marina Resort are actually in the Ilikai, a four or five star hotel. The WMR has a separate concierge and lets the rooms on the lower floors. Great resort, great location, great service and great price!

Location is convenient, the front desk which is located on the second floor is only open from 7 am to 11 pm. My first night, i entered the room around 11 pm, the air conditioning was not working and of course the front desk was closed to get any one to fix it. I complained in the morning and they fixed it. The cordless phone was also not working. The […] batteries were dead. I had to call them to get it changed as well. Overall, it has a convenient location, clean room, older building. The front desk staff are polite and courteous. It is worth the money if you want to live in downtown in an affordable price. Les mer

This hotel is in the Ilikai hotel, so it was hard to find(especially the front is in 2nd floor) But the service was great, and the concierge was very friendly, and they satisfied us in every way. The kitchenet was very convenient and we enjoyed the free wired internet (the wireless wasn't free)

Please explain to people that even though they are staying in the hotel, it is part of time share units... therefore, there would be no housekeeping services except for daily clean linen. for the price excellent value unless you want a hotel right on the beach

The rooms are really big and clean with a huge balcony. The kitchen is fully equipped ( microwave, blender, toaster, big refrigerator, stove...) which is perfect if you want to save a little money by cooking a few meals in your room. If you want more bang for your buck, then definitely the Marina is where it's at. I am budget conscious and had everything written down, Staying here helped us to afford the other luxuries i.e swimming with the dolphins, at Seal Life. Clean, spacious rooms. We got a fantastic deal through hotels.ca, and we're able to get a small condo type place for […] a very reasonable price. With a small kitchen for our two children we didn't have to feel rushed in the morning to get out for breakfast. I could grab some groceries at the local ABC, (one on every corner).. and feed them conveniently before we headed out for our big adventures. When we sat on the balcony, we joked about how the HIlton had to stare at our ugly looking building, and we got stare at their gorgeous surroundings. The exterior is not all that great, it's looks like a beat up 80's style hotel, that needs a facelift. The carpets were being torn out above us, but we didn't feel the effects of the cleanup. For the money it's definitely worth it. Before we arrived I had a lot of reservations.... (hearing - time sharing, from other forums) I had horrible images in my head that they would "lock" us in a room to listen about how great time sharing was. To my surprise and delight, we had a warm welcome on the 2nd floor late in the night. We were exhausted, we just wanted to get our sleeping children off to bed, and they were very accommodating. The hotel is located among many other hotels on Ala Moana, a main street in Honolulu and Waikiki. Ala Moana is also a major bus route (and various tourist trolleys, buses and taxis) and close to a transit center at the Ala Moana Mall. To us - people who walk and are committed to public transit - worked well. Our 7th floor room had a balcony over Ala […] Moana and provided views of all the traffic as well as rainbows, and the city views toward downtown. This is touristville on steroids. Waikiki Beach is out the back door, as are the thousands of tourists seeking sun, surfing, suntans, and shopping. Waikiki Marina Resort is not our usual lodging, but it was great fun and provided a unique experience. Les mer

The Waikiki Marina Resort is a business from SVC, that shares the same building with Ilikai Hotel, but the office is located in the second floor. A convenient valet parking service you already get upon arrival (as your name will be in the parking staff list). Also the bellboy takes your luggage and delivery it directly in the room. The tip for the bellboy […] is already included in the price, so you can tip him with a coupon received from the SVC office upon your check in. We chose the Go Green plan, that means just daily towell and toilet cleaning. We saved money due this to spend in restaurants, for example. We got a full kitchen room, so could fix some snacks when staying in the room. Les mer

This is a nice hotel, and the rooms are efficiency apartments with stove, frig, microwave, coffeemaker, etc. That part is good, but cleanness is average, as the maid did not do anything on a consistent basis, outside of bringing fresh towels daily (appreciated). The maid service did no vacuuming of room or making the bed each day, though, and over time […] the room felt like it needed a bit more attention from housekeeping. I still would stay there again, as the location is next to the Hilton, where all my meetings were taking place. And we were staying there at 1/3 the Hilton price. Les mer
