Bra hotell i Lahaina, ligger dog litt utenfor sentrum. Men siden vi var der for å slappe av, var det helt greit.. Det tar ca 5min å gå til sentrum... Nabo bygget har det du trenger.. Dårlig strand utenfor hotellet.. Det eneste hotellet med havutsikt i byen..Trivdes veldig godt..

Hadde gleden av å være på dette hotellet 3 netter. OK kompleks med flere timeshare leiligheter som leies ut til turister. Fint basseng område og boblebad. Ligger rett på stranden. Noe korallbunn - badesko anbefales. Hotellet tilbyr "hospitality room" dersom man ønsker en dusj og skifte klær dersom man skal reise senere enn utsjekk. P-hus tilknyttet […] hotellet. Kort spasertur bort til Lahaina. Restauranter i umiddelbar nærhet med bra kvalitet - ett med polynesisk underholdning på kvelden. Lahaina er forøvrig en hyggelig småby med mange restauranter, butikker og gallerier. Et mye roligere tempo her enn i f-eks. Honolulu. Benyttet anledningen til å kjøre nordover på smale grusveier. Anbefales ikke til de som har høydeskrekk, har problemer med å rygge eller lett blir bilsyk. Fare for steinras - men fantastisk natur - ta runden før det blir mørkt! Les mer

Went to Maui for a night from Oahu with my friend. I booked the cheapest room, a studio mountain view room because we didn't intend on spending much time at the hotel. We were given a 2nd floor ocean view room with our own lanai in a very clean studio with a kitchen and bathroom that were more than adequate. We actually chose to spend time on the private […] beach and then the lawn chairs by the pool just enjoying the ocean front. We walked to get dinner later, the hotel is located by a whole strip of shops but we walked a few minutes further down the road where there were more restaurants and shops and had a great dinner. Beautiful stucture and ocean view. The outside of the building is amazing and when on the water it stands out as a beautiful looking hotel. Our room was not VRBO and has never been updated. Very shocked at how old our bathroom and kitchen was. Our toilet did not flush properly and maintance could not fix it. The pool is not open till 9 am due to a morning […] presentation for new tourists, I believe this is a time share presentation as well. I, like most athletes do thier exercise first thing in the am, which in the tropics it is around 6 am. Waiting till 9am does not allow one to take full advantage of their day. Reasonable value for the money on the Hawaiian scale. Wear, tear and fatigue is in plain sight, but the room was clean and the service very friendly. The hotel is in a quiet location, 10 minutes easy walk from the hustle and bustle of town, but the shoreline is not very appealing. So if you are looking for cheap, not so clean and sleeping on a horrible murphy bed.. this is your place. I had a hard time getting over the gunk built up in all the floor tile grout and bathroom corners. I wouldn't walk on the floor barefoot. The hotel is in a great spot, south of the main town, but within walking distance and bordering the residential neighborhood. This makes the neighborhood pretty quite. The hotel is right on the beach, with a pool and courtyard just adjacent to a nearly private beach.

Beautiful hotel in walking distance to everything in Lahaina. Oceanfront is great but the pool and hot tub were nice too. The beach walks are incredible! The mountain view rooms are facing the parking lot and street so it was very loud and hot with no breeze. And the air conditioner was very loud along with the fridge. Definitely recommend the upgrade […] to oceanfront so you can watch the whales and get a breeze. Would appreciate free internet but overall a very nice place to stay and we would go back. Les mer

What a lovely place! It is in a great location with easy walking access to great restaurants, galleries, and shops. The beach that is just outside the property is fairly rocky so not as comfortable as some other beaches. No WiFi in hotel, but they directed us to a nearby location. Should stay there again if I went back to Msui.

My husband and I were very pleased with this resort. It was clean, reasonably priced, and the staff was pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

When I arrived I was met by a very friendy, and welcoming lady at the reception. I had a few travel problems and within no time she was able to resolve the main issues. For that I could not be more grateful. Throughout my stay she was always very helpful. I will also extend that praise to all the staff that I dealt with during my stay. I had a very […] comfortable stay and the view across the ocean from my balcony was a picture book. The towels, coffee etc were changed every day. The kitchen facility was more than adequate housing a cooker and a large fridge. These were and added bonus. The hotel facilities were very good, laundry, internet etc. The grounds were well looked after and which made the pool etc very inviting.THe gate access straight onto the beach was lovely. There was a representative at the hotel who was able to arrange all my tours and bookings. A great help. The hotel was located within a few minutes walk from the 1st set of shops in the town and all the other activities, shops and entertainment. Loved that, and thus I did not need to hire a car. Convenient location at a reasonable price.

Great location - on the beach in Lahaina. Walkable to everything in town (you'll still need a car to get there & get to other places on the island). Room was enough space - regular hotel plus kitchenette. Great for a few days. Carpets desperately need to be replaced, but clean otherwise. Hotel staff super nice. Okay place but tile floor in room was dirty and hall carpets were filthy and stained. Exterior and lobby was nice. Pool was nice beach not so great.

i totally enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the location is very convenient, having a kitchen was great, saved us alot of money,staff was attentive, and hotel rooms were nice and clean

The accommodations were in a privately owned condo. Our ocean facing studio was ideal for this retired couple. Although older than the North Shore big resorts, we were comfortable, well serviced, and pleased. The resort is right on a quiet shore that is protected by a reef. This was our second visit. Our reason for staying at Lahaina Shores isn’t because it’s five star, because it’s not, but it is a million dollar view from the ocean front balconies. Swaying palm trees, a shimmering sea, an island backdrop and a clear blue sky. And sunsets that will stay with us forever. Picture-postcard-perfect is a cliché, but it really […] is. 10 min walk to centre of Lahaina for Shopping and Dining at a quiet end of town.Enjoyed our oceanfrot studio room.

location is the best! right on the beach, walking distance to restaurants, bars, shopping ares, etc. very quiet at night, only thing you can hear at night are the waves. great view, able to see sunset. super friendly staff. great value too! i will definitely go back and stay there again, again and again.

Lahaina Shores provided everything we needed for a most relaxing 5 nights in Maui. We were at the end of the main strip in Lahaina which was perfect. We slept listening to the ocean every night. Everybody who worked there from the front desk people, the concierge and the groundskeepers were super. The only change I'd like to see made is providing us […] with an extra blanket as it can get a little cool at night. Great hotel, very hospitable, gave us use of hospitality suite after we checked out to shower and change after a day at the beach. Close to shops, restaurants, town too!

We had an excellent stay! Walking distance to shops & eateries as well as surf rentals at Goofy Foot Rentals nextdoor. Step straight out the gate on to the beach & a short walk to the surf break. Breakfast nextdoor, down the road or grab food from the supermarket & eat at home. Very comfortable!

This hotel is a living paradise on earth. Great view! Great location! We had access to the beach, a terrific view on the ocean, the palm trees and the sunset. It is a quiet place with a pool and a SPA. We will certainly return on day!

Had a great few days at the Lahaina shores. Room was surprisingly big with nice view of mountains. The room had a full kitchen fridge, microwave & stove & utensils. Was very good for saving & making lunches & breakfast. The pool & garden is nice but didn't spend too much time there as lots to do around. Very quiet but very close to bars & restaurants […] on front street. Walked down every night for food & drinks. Parking was €8 per day but right beside hotel & was worth it. Will def stay here again on next trip to Maui :) Les mer

We stayed in Lahaina Shores for three nights in early June 2011. The best thing about this hotel is the location - a short walking distance to many shops and restaurants on Front st. The hotel itself, whilte not luxurious, was adequate for our needs - with a kitchen, fridge and oven, and full air conditioning. Laundry is available at each floor for […] a fee. We had an ocean view unit overlooking the island of Lanai in the distance - well worth the extra money. There is a nice swimming pool and spa, leading up to the beach area which is great for swimming. Parking was provided for a fee at an undercover parking lot next door. Internet cable is available in the room for an extra cost. Overall - I would definitely recommend this hotel. Les mer

Was within walking distance of the Lahaina Harbor, and quite a few shops along Front St. Only issue we had was the daily parking fee, there where several places with free or less expensive parking. And the parking was not monitored, as we had someone key our rental car.

This place was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again next time we come to Maui. It was great having a full kitchen. Wish there was a gym though.

Our stay at the Lahaina Shores was wonderful. The location of the hotel was great, less than 2 blocks from Old Town Lahaina. Everything you could want was walking distance. Pay the few bucks extra for the oceanview...it's well worth it! Can't stress that enough, you won't regret it. There's a small convenience store next door, perfect for those things […] you forgot to pack, or for groceries (limited selection, but they had everything I needed). Maid service every day. Laundry rooms on each floor. An unexpected plus was the Egyptian cotton sheets and towels. Small, very functional kitchen, full size fridge and stove/oven. Air conditioning worked like a charm. The restaurant next door was good, but "touristy". We preferred to walk to the #1 BBQ, locals place for mixed plate and plate lunch...tons of food, mainland prices. The hotel has a nice pool and jacuzzi, a grassy area with reclining lawn chairs. The beach in front of the hotel is good for swimming and floating around, but no surf. A couple beaches south of the hotel (need to drive) had plenty of surf. The staff has the Aloha spirit. If you want the "Old Hawaiian" experience, Lahaina Resorts provides it. If you want new glitz and glamour, Kaanapali is your place...but you'll pay three time the money for it. Les mer

Just got back from vacation in Hawaii...stayed 5 nights at Lahaina shores. Check in was a breeze. Our room was an Ocean view room and what views - morning, noon, night :)...worth all the extra $'s. The resort/hotel is right on the beach. It has a pool. Location wise nothing can beat this as it is a short walk (5 mins) from the Lahaina shops so close […] enough but far enough from all the hustle-bustle. Resort/hotel is a mix of condos/hotel rooms. Our room (407) had a full kitchen with all utensils you will need - a great plus when you feel like eating in even if is left overs :). Had a DVD/VCR combo player and flat screen TV with all cable channels (read Food Channel for missus). Take the Activity reviews conducted each morning around 830AM. The Expedia Local Expert on premise definitely was informative and helped book a couple of activities for us. Not pushy. We did the snorkeling (molokini+turtle bay) tour with Pacific Whale Foundation - a MUST DO! I also booked surfing lessons (royal hawaiian surf school) which again is right on Lahaina (a couple of blocks from the hotel)...a great experience again. The hotel is definitely old and can use renovation in the lobby/elevators/corridors/hallways. Room though was alright. Staff was pleasant and helpful (we checked out late at no extra charge - 1PM). Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely be staying here again (hopefully same room :)) Les mer

This hotel is very tired, carpets in halls stained and in need of a major makeover. I would not stay there again. The staff were unhelpful and did not provide good service. The walls of adjoining rooms need soundproofing as on two occasions during our three day stay we were disturbed by noisy sex in the adjacent room - once in the early afternoon and […] once in the early evening - lasting about an hour each time. This timing and the very audible moans and groans, laughter and audible snatches of conversation make me wonder whether the sex next door was commercial rather than conjugal. Les mer

Would definitely stay here again. The room was the perfect size for 2 people and even had a kitchen with full size fridge. It's a quick and scenic 10 minute walk to Lahaina town. On the way back you can even take the beach route for a change of scenery. If you have activities planned for this side of the island this is a great spot -- not a contained […] resort with tons of pools and grounds, but nice that you are close to town and within walking distance. We booked a night here while we were waiting for our condo in Napili to become available. We loved the location: right on the beach and really close to downtown Lahaina. The room was ok - a little bit dated. The hallways were a bit grungy and the front desk staff was not very helpful.

Location was great and the staff was on the job working to make everything as good as it could be. On;y real complaint was that the rooms needed a lot of updating. Bed was uncomfortable and kitchen was not equipped the way you would expect.

We stayed here 3 nights on Maui before moving onto Oahu for our honeymoon. This was to be our cheaper accommodation option before Oahu,Waikiki Beach. The resort was great with helpful friendly staff and clean pool with nice garden area metres from the beach. The room was great, spacious, balcony,ocean views,modern kitchen appliances and comfortable […] bed. Needed nothing more. It's location is about 5 minutes walk to the centre of lovely Lahaina. Perfectly placed outside of Town to enable a short walk into Town when required to do so. Preferred Lahaina to Kaanapali beach area so very pleased with our choice. Les mer

This resort was amazing. We had a ocean front room, and I would have to say that the view was awesome. 100% ocean view for all the ocean front rooms! Each of the rooms have a nice big balcony where we had breakfast every morning, and where we watched the beautiful Hawaii sunset in the evenings. The hotel unlike many of Maui's resorts is in a city, […] it is in beautiful Lahaina. This was a highlight for me, because there were many shops, restaurants etc... within walking distance. This is a great place, I plan on coming back one day, and I would recommend it to anyone. I will mention though that the ocean front room is the way to go. Les mer

This hotel definitely shows its age. It is still clean and well-kept but starting to look a bit worn. Parking, laundry and internet cost extra. There is no hotel safe, just a small safety deposit box at the front desk. The full kitchen has the basics but lacks dish soap and condiments.
