FuramaXclusive Sathorn - Silom - Bangkok

I've stayed at the hotel several times before, although the last time was about a year ago and what a difference a year make! The staff is still friendly and try to be as helpful as possible, but I'm shocked by the condition of the rooms. I was appreciative when they upgraded me to a Premier room, that is, until I saw the room. The only 'premier' thing […] about the room is its name. The kitchen counter was badly scratched. Apparently, someone had melted the surface by putting a hot pan on it. The desk surface was damaged too. It had huge iron mark on it. The bathroom looked clean but it smelt rusty. The translucent shower didn't help. When hung from a sagging rod, it looked like a worn-out piece of plastic caked with soap scum. And when the air-conditioner did nothing but blow warm air, I felt I had enough cause to demand a change of room. They ended up giving me a much more acceptable room, but I was so shocked that they would think anybody would accept a room in that condition to be a habitable 4-star hotel room not to mention a Premier room. the stay was pleasant but the female coffeehouse supervisor made me pay for 2 leftover eggs my wife didnt finnish.i felt like a cheapo steeling a breakfast as i opted to give the complmentary breakfast to my maid.i had booked 04 rooms with only 3 complimentary breakfast.i did pay the amount but felt lousy after spending $$.its seems that the management […] cares very much about $$.left me wondering if i would like to go back to the estalishment again or a over zealous staff . This is a decent hotel for the price. The Skytrain is a short 2 minute walk. The room was clean and quiet. My wife and I stayed here for a week and we'd have no problems returning. Buffet breakfast is quite large and fairly good food....

Stayed here before and will stay here again, 4 star treatment at great price. The staff are excellent, attentive and friendly. The location is perfect, not 5 mins from the Sky Train and easy access to main silom and sathorn roads. Free wireless internet makes for ideal business hotel. would recommend to both holiday and business travellers.

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend. I must say I'm pleased I've made the right choice to stay here. This hotel is nestled in the midst of silom. The location is convenient to BTS Chong Nongsi and a short walk to Silom Road and Sala Daeng station. To get to the hotel from the airport, I took the Airport Link to Makassan (35 baht) and taxi […] (about 10 baht) to the hotel. It would be handy to have a map to the hotel to show to the driver, and tell the driver the hotel is around Silom soi 3 and Piphat 2. They should know. Breakfast was adequate, with a choice of continental and hot breakfast(eggs cooked to your specification). I've felt relatively safe walking around the neighbourhood at night. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back for my next visit. Les mer

It's quite a nice hotel. Rooms have a kitchenette, a DVD player, stereo system, and an iron amongst others. On the other hand, our bath tub was a bit crooked, causing water to leak from the top while taking a shower, soaking the bathroom floor. We didn't complain, since we were there only for 2 nights, but I'm sure they would have transferred us to […] another room. Great plus is that it is very close to a Silom line SkyTrain station, and there is an attractive nightmarket each night on the main street nearby. Les mer

This is the 3rd time I am staying at this hotel for my short business trip (4 days). Overall the service and cleaniness are good. However while others at the frontdesk were very friendly, I encountered one personnel who could use a bit more smile. This hotel offers good value for money and is in the middle of the lively Silom district. The area surrounding the hotel is calm though, and there are some nice resturants close by. The rooms are spacious with kitchen and they all come with a balcony (without chairs, strange enough). Beds are rock hard, as is the usual case in Asia. The staff most friendly, the room was nice and clean and everything worked like it should. The restaurant was pretty dull, so we didn't eat there. The surroundings were really quiet, except for the construction site next to the hotel, the noise was annoying at the pool, but it didn't bother us in the room. The hotel is difficult to find as it is not on a main road but further in. Many of the cab drivers do not know where it is. The interior of the hotel is neat and clean however it has the look and feel of just that, a hotel room. I would not take my family there to stay as there for any extended period of time however for a short stay of a day or two […] or for transit, this is a cheap but clean place. Also the breakfast buffet does not compare to some of the nicer hotels but is included with the room and more than adequate. The staff is very friendly. Les mer

We think this was originally a block of apartments. A very odd place, in a back street - took us ages to find the place - and that was with GPS !!!! Food in restaurant wasreasonable and not expensive. Only stayed for the one night and Hotel.com did have a VERY good offer - hence the choice. Free parking was a help too. Regarding Furama, only minus that I have to say that first room that we got was a little bit smelly on cigarettes (and with the fact that we are both nonsmokers that room was not our request) but polite lady from reception immediately transfered us to executive floor in a very nice and fresh room. Location was convenient for our short stay in BKK, […] and really very very close to such simple sky train connection. It is so nice cause only 2 stations further is river and ferry service so convenient for all the sights in the old city (loved the reclining Budha!) Hotel restaurant was quite decent, lovely breakfast, but even the dinner was very tasty and thai. They had free 10 min massage offer in hotel lobby, which I used while waiting for my boyfriend to finish some things on the hotel laptop, nice way to kill time and come for a real one. We did not have time to use the pool and sauna, but had a quick look and it seemed like a paradise after a long day out in the city. This a three star hotel. The staff speak english and everything was as expected. The hotel is hard to find, not on a main road. It is not to expensive to get there from the airport. There is only a 7-11 nearby everything else is a five minute walk away. The room is set up with a full size fridge, and a two burner stove. The tv has all you could want, […] the bed comfortable and the shower and toilet were good. My curtain rod was coming out the wall and there was a sewer smell from the floor drain in the washroom. I covered that with a plastic bag and was done with it. The view was awful, overlooking an abandoned constuction site. The hotel dining was good and the concierge and tour booking excellent. For the price I would stay there again because it is close to all the downtown action, bars, embassies and the night food markets are a lot of fun. Les mer

In addition for a good value for your money this hotel has very good service, spacious rooms, nice pool and gym and good buffet breakfast. Very close to the sky train, night market and the river. The hotel stuff is very nice, they helped us recover passports and money we have left on a taxi coming from the airport to the hotel.

Well maintained, very well staffed with friendly, courteous and helpful staff. I would not hesitate to return. The staff was incredible. The room was quiet and appropriately appointed. One small problem regulating the bath/shower water temperature.

I stayed in FuramaXclusive Sathorn-Silom Hotel from Sept 17 to Sept 29, 2009 . I was very sactisfied everything about this Hotel. I strongly recommend this to my friends and others, The Staffs were so friendly and excellent servives. I will come back later when I came to BKK.

I broke my own rule of only staying at hotels with pic of the bathroom and regret it. Tiny bath tub. Shower was Hot/Cold/Hot/Cold and was mounted too low on wall. Built for someone under 5ft. Shower water floods on floor because of poor tub design and cheap shower curtian mount on L-shape rod which droops to about my waist. Toilet was disgusting since […] it never completely flushed and left a colorful image of the previous use. Great lobby staff. Terrible maintenance staff. i stay for 1 nite at Sathron Furama.. Very good stay i think... i book for deluxe room, fortunately it's full on that day so, the receptionist uprgrade my room to premier one.. the premier room has own kitchen, spacious bed and very good room. This hotel location is quite good, just behind and near the hotel, you can find a lot of street food(bbq) […] and NAJ(Thai food), and the hotel also facilitate with swimming pool, sauna, gym. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights this month in August, and honestly it was great. Hotel, and staff are great, comfortable rooms, clean, and a goood price. Nice hotel, situated in nice area. It is clear that it is a business hotel - however - we felt welcome as leisure tourists as well! Breakfast was fine, lunch buffet not impressing. Only real minus was to find it! Although getting there was a bit of trouble when we arrived we found the hotel to be very nice. Rooms were imaculate and the comfort excellent. We found the room to be very big much bigger then we thought due to the price. The frigde AND freezer in the room were of great use we stored our own drinks and icecream in there all week. We ate in the resturant many times the food was excellent (this being the reason we went back so many times) also the breakfast buffet was the best we've ever had, it provided EVERYTHING you could want. The staff at the hotel were above and beyond helpfull they all spoke english and were amazing at booking things for us from taxi's to VIP cinema tickets. We really enjoyed this hotel. No taxi or tuk-tuk knew where it was (name had changed), but we just told them Silom Soi 3 and directed them from there. THe staff was great and friendly and it was a great bargain.

ＢＴＳからの距離、繁華街へのアクセス、食事、プール等どれも近隣の同等クラスのホテルより優れています。

Hotellet ligger fint i Silom/Sathorn området, men meget gemt og Taxichaufførene har svært ved at finde det. Standarden på hotellet ligger bestemt ikke til et 4-stjernet men er ok til prisen. Personalet er meget venligt og søde til at hjælpe.

合理的房價，臨近熱鬧的BTS(Chong Nosi站)及地鐵站，夜晚還可以逛澎蓬夜市，而且，飯店服務人員親切、服務佳，讓我在曼谷的每個夜晚都睡得十分香甜，下次再訪曼谷，我想我還是會選擇這間超棒的酒店哦！^^

Das Hotel ist ein super Tipp! Sehr zentral in einer ruhigen Seitenstrasse gelegen. Nur wenige Schritte ziur Skytrain "Chang Nosi" Station und in ca. 3 Minuten Fussmarsch ist man schon am berühmten Patong Nachtmarkt mit vielen Bars und Restaurants. Die Zimmer sind überdurchschnittlich gross und top sauber. Ebenfalls die Badezimmer inkl. Glasdusche. Kein […] Schimmel, nix. Küchenzeile inkl. Kühlschrank. Sogar einen Balkon hatte es.Frühstück ist ein mittelgrosses Buffet-da könnte man noch was verbessern, aber uns hat's gereicht.Der Eingangsbereich macht nicht so viel her, wie in gewissen anderen Bangkok Hotels.. aber man wohnt ja im Zimmer. Ik ga er zeker terug, ik was er voor zaken, ik kreeg een upgrade, smorgens moest ik weg om 6h30 en de ontbijt ruimte was nog niet klaar en toch lieten ze me binnen om iets te gaan halen.

Dejligt hotel tæt på alt ting 3 minutter til skytrain og gåafstand til silom området. Morgenmaden bufferten var super lækkert med flere varierende asiatiske retter og selvfølgelig american breakfast. gratis Wifi er ok men ikke helt optimalt den logger af og på engang i mellem. Vi vil helt sikkert bo her igen næste gang vi er i Bangkok.
