Vi var 6 jenter som skulle kose oss på tur til Tallinn. Valget av hotell var gjordt på bakgrunn av beliggenhet og pris. Vi var strålende fornøyd og Tallinn er et sted vi kommer tilbake til !! Mest sannsynlig vil vi bruke det samme hotellet.

Oppholdet var vi svært fornøyd med. Hotellet er flott med preg av en gammel bygård, som er flott pusset opp. Vi har bare gode opplevelser av maten, service, og SPA. Anbefales på det høyeste.

Me and my wife stayed four nights in november 2011, and it was a good stay. The rooms are quite big, and we loved the big pillows that we could use to sit comfortably in the bed at daytime! Cleaning was good, and we enjoed the view over the Tallinn bay area and the old city. It was pretty quiet around the hotel, and only a few minutes to walk to the old city and the shops. Also a great food store was next to the hotel, were we could get cheap water, and food. I could easy recommend the hotel for everyone!

Hotellet er et nokså greit alternativ for de som ikke forlanger høyeste standard. Servicen var grei, personalet snakka utmerket engelsk, kjøkkenet hadde god, sunn mat, og beliggenheten var like ved en hovedvei. Det tok 10-15 minutter med buss til sentrum, noe som mer føltes som sighseeing. Internettforbindelsen på rommet var noe treg, men da gikk det an å sette seg i et rom i første etasje. Der var det mer enn nok linjekapasitet. Sett i forhold til prisen, så kan jeg trygt anbefale hotellet!

If you're traveling to Tallinn, then this is the place to stay. I was traveling with two of my friends so our room was quite cramped with the three of us, but we made it work. In my opinion two people may be a bit uncomfortable, but I am used to the larger sized hotel rooms in the U.S. We were greeted by an extremely friendly front desk clerk who immediately […] recommended restaurants and night life hot spots that were well within walking distance. The hotel sits back off the street which made for a quiet stay. They offer drinks at the front desk which may be enjoyed in the lobby or outside on the patio (at the lone table - they may set up more tables when the weather is better?). There was really no need for a cab while we stayed at the Bern as everything - including the ferry port - were as I said before within walking distance. The room while small was very clean. The WiFi access made communications very easy. The price was right as well. All in all, a great place to stay. If you have three people traveling together, I would recommend booking two rooms. "OK Hotel, Good Location"
I stayed here for 4 days in June 2011. It was a good location, near the Ferry port to Tallinn and the old Town. Very quite area and a supermarket across the road. The receptionists were very frindly and helpful, however the housekeeping let the hotel down. The room was also pretty basic.

"Windows that don't open"
Had an otherwise satisfactory room (for the price) on the third floor with a lovely view of several of the town's spires. facing southwest. But this meant that the afternoon sun streamed in, warming the room. This might be wonderful in winter, but in late May the room was hot and the windows did not open, trapping all that heat. Given weak air conditioning, […] by 3:30 the room was stifling and became habitable again after 10:30. Good excuse to stay out and drink beer in the town square or another nice bar. Les mer

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a wide selection. The room was clean and comfortable, though a bit spartan. The only negative was the shower which drained into the floor rather than into a catch basin, so the bathroom floor was wet afterwards.

We had an excellent 4 night midweek break, the hotel being an ideal base from which to walk to all the attractions in the old town as well as the port , modern town and opera house. "Fantastic Staff!"
We only stayed one night here, but had a really fantastic stay. We happened to be staying there on my birthday, and we had made no mention of this, but they must have noticed it on my paperwork when we checked in because they showed up with a bottle of champagne & roses for me that evening. It was so unexpected & so thoughtful! The hotel is neat, simple […] and clean, but I would say that their best asset is their staff. Everyone we dealt with was incredibly helpful - from almost immediately responding to my e-mail requesting directions to the hotel to helping us figure out how to turn the heat up - they were fantastic. The service we received was first class - the staff were extremely helpful. Rooms were on the smallish side but were well maintained. Although the snow was still around and temperatures were a little chilly - the hotel and visit to Tallinn was excellent. Hotel Bern is ideally situated for easy access to the Old town, and short walk to Newer shopping Malls. Located right beside the old town in a quiet street, five minutes walk from airport bus stop and city tour and main bus station. Pretty much everywhere was within walking distance of hotel. We stayed at the Hotel Bern for a long weekend in March - upon check in the Reception staff were very helpful and provided details about the Hotel itself but also a map on which they highlighted key sites to visit whilst in Tallinn. The Hotel itself is very clean and modern and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location of the Hotel Bern is excellent being only a few minutes walk away from the Old Town of Tallinn. Whilst we were in Tallinn the weather was a little cold, with snow on the first day, however, the Hotel always felt very warm. I was very happy with everything at hotel Bern. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are nice, well equipped and clean. The location of the hotel is great too very close to both the Viru square and the new city as well as the old town. Buses from the airport arrive at the Viru so you can be at the hotel within 5 minutes of leaving the airport […] bus. There is also a supermarket across the road from the hotel should you need to do any shopping and the Kalev Spa is about 100m away. I would highly recommend the hotel for your stay in Tallinn. "Tallin in -19 Weather"
Went in February and Tallin was experiencing some unseasonal weather and it was -19 on all the days we spent there. Hotel was clean and reception staff were very friendly and helpful and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The room we stayed in was basic and very clean. However, the bed was not particularly comfortable and the air conditioning […] unit was very noisy (not sure if it was broken) and it did wake me up during the night with the noise. We had a fantastic stay in Tallinn. Hotel Bern was ideally located just outside the city walls. The hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful - they recommended excellent places to eat and drink in the city. The hotel was ideally located right by the old town, port, shopping district & olympic sized swimming pool at Kalev Spa/hotel (visit there highly recommended). It was clean, quiet and well maintained. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. If I were return to Tallinn I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Hotel Bern again!

"Kätevästi lähellä kaikkea"
Siisti ja hyväkuntoinen hotelli, kätevästi vanhan kaupungin tuntumassa lähellä kauppoja ja ravintoloita. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja kielitaitoista. Aamupala hyvä. Ainoana miinuksena ikävä viemärinhaju hotellin aulassa, onneksi hajua ei kuitenkaan ollut huoneessa.

"Vernünftiges Hotel"
Das Hotel liegt am Rand der Altstadt, die daher sehr gut zu Fuss zu erreichen ist. Zu den Haltestellen des öffentlichen Nahverkehrs und den modereren Neubauten in der City ist es auch zu Fuss nicht weit. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt.

Erittäin mukava hotelli hyvien yhteyksien ja palveluiden lähellä, siisti,rauhallinen.
"Kattava arvostelu Hotel Bernistä Tallinnassa"
Mukava perushotelli, mutta arvioitu selvästi yläkanttiin. Neljän tähden luokitukselta olisimme odottaneet enemmän luksusta - avomieheni mainitsi huoneeseen saapuessamme opiskelija-asuntomme tuntuvan ylellisemmältä. Huoneemme oli hyvin pieni ja varustelultaan minimalistinen. Huomattava miinus oli käsisuihkun puuttuminen! Lisäksi saapuessamme huoneessa […] oli todella kylmä, jouduimme heti tullessamme vääntämään patterin täysille ja laittamaan ilmalämpöpumpun päälle. Huoneesta maksamaamme hintaan suhteessa taso oli kuitekin riittävä, ja kaikesta huolimatta huone oli siisti ja viihtyisä. Aamiainen oli riittävän runsas: tarjolla oli munakokkelia, lihapullia, tuoreita hedelmäviipaleita, jogurttia, mysliä, leipää, croissantteja, mehuja, kahvia ja teetä. Pidemmällä yöpymisellä olisimme kyllästyneet, sillä molempina aamuina tarjolla oli täysin samat vaihtoehdot, samoja viipaloituja hunajameloneita, verigreippiä ja appelsiinia myöten. Hotellin sijainti oli todella hyvä, satamaan on kohtuullinen kävelymatka, vanha kaupunki on ihan siinä ympärillä ja Viru Keskukseen shoppailemaan on lyhyt kävely. Yhteenvetona voisin sanoa, että Hotel Bern oli huonoin neljän tähden hotelli jossa olen yöpynyt, mutta perushotelliksi erittäin hyvä. Sopii sellaiselle, joka ei vaadi luksusta vaan yksinkertaisesti mukavaa, luotettavaa majoitusta. Meidän matkamme sijottui hiihtolomaviikolle, ainakin silloin tuolla hotellissa oli lisäksi hyvin rauhallista. Les mer

Litet, bra hotell med bra läge nära till allt. Precis i kanten av gamla stan, med de moderna shoppinggalleriorna på 5-10 min promenadavstånd. Trevlig personal, enkla men schyssta rum, frukosten helt OK. Ganska "typiskt" hotellstil; hetäckningsmattor, mässingsdetaljer, vinrött....(dvs inte så personligt) men för billigt schysst boende en weekend i Tallinn […] är det perfekt! Les mer

"Hotel Bern tæt på den gamle bydel."
Vi valgte Hotel Bern fordi det ligger meget tæt på den gamle bydel, det var et godt valg, hotellet er pænt og rent, med meget hjælpsomt personalet, værelserne er ikke store, men opfylder de behov vi har, morgenmaden er god , men lidt ensformig. Hotellet ligger i et roligt nabolag med supermarked, apotek og indkøbscenter tæt på. Vi kørte med lufthavns […] bus som holder 5 min. fra hotellet . Vi havde et dejligt ophold intet at klage over. Sijainti paras mahdollinen. Lähelllä kaikkia nähtävyyksiä, mutta kuitenkin erittäin rauhallisella paikalla. En voi muuta kun suositella. Ainoa huono puoli oli aamiaispöytä. Suppea valikoima, vähän istumapaikkoja ja hidasta palvelua. Muuten loistava hotelli ja ystävällinen henkilökunta.
