Great location on the beach. New wing and 4th pool looked great. Excellent room service and reasonable priced meals within the hotel. Gardens well maintained. Internet in rooms never available due to problems with wifi. Overall very pleasant stay and would recommend to others.

This is my second stay at this lovely hotel and would recommend it to anyone wishing to stay at Patong Beach. This is a hotel for the masses. If you don't mind mingling with people from all walks of life then go for it. Well located if you want to go to Patong and do some shopping. Didn't stay in the hotel much and found some nice eating places in Jungceylon shopping centre.

I loved the hotel from the gorgeous landscapes surrounding the many different pools to the central location to he shops and beach.The staff are warm,welcoming and always helpfull.My brother and I are defently coming back to Patong Merlin.....:)

The hotel is in a good location at the South end of Patong Beach. Our room was located at the Eastern block of the hotel overlooking the pool and was very nice, the entire hotel was well appointed and maintained. The staff were always friendly and nothing was any trouble.

hotel was fanstastic from start to finish. we were greeted with a smile and friendly service upon arrival. Both rooms were immaculate. Pools were fanastic(even though we didnt use them much due to heavy rain for 7 days). great variety of food and fruit for breakfast buffett. I think we stayed in the older wing of the hotel, room was clean and maintained daily however occasionaly smelly, and old television, we also did not get a pool view room as booked. late checkout fee too, Majority of staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful however there was 1 or 2 exceptions that were quite rude and not friendly at all. This is an older hotel but is very comfortable and the staff are wonderful. We have been there 11 times and wouldn't go anywhere else in Patong the location is wonderful. The buffet breakfast can become a bit boring after a while but is ok.

My wife and I spent 3 nights in this hotel. The staff were very friendly and courteous, and the location was great only a 5 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to the night life. The only two problems we had were 1) The AC doesnt cool very well in the rooms 2) My wife is filipina it seems if a guest decides to bring a girl from the bar back to the […] hotel you must pay extra. Since my wife is Asian everytime we would come back to the hotel the guard would try to make me pay the front desk for her to go to our room. Although it is an understandable mistake to happen once it was aggrivating that it happened each time we went to the hotel and made my wife mad. Les mer

Good location, however for the money you pay, they can't give you a free wifi internet in your room. It is an old building, you have to walk a long, long way to get to your room, no ventilation along the hallway as you walk to get to your room.

Our stay at the Patong Merlin was everything we wanted - pampered and relaxed. The location was great. Just watch for hawkers selling timesahre type property on the beach road. Overall, great resort, neat & tidy, well kept. Restaurant food not the best but the poolside cafe is pretty good. Good location, away from the hustle & bustle of Bangala Rd but within walking distance & the other entrance of the resort is opposite the beach.

March 2011 - This is our 5th visit to the patong merlin in 2 years, we visit Thailand every 6 months and this time we have looked around other hotels but as far as convenience and value for money are concerned you cant beat it. l'hôtel est magnifique, comme sur les photos, très propre, accueil très agréable. la chambre est grande, le lit très confortable. Par contre il n'y a pas de lecteur DVD dans la chambre (ceci étant payant). l'hôtel étant placé à une des extrêmités de la plage de Patong, l'hôtel est donc très calme. les piscine sont grande et chaude, sauf la piscine directement […] accessible par la chambre qui est beaucoup plus froide. le HARD ROCK café se trouve à coté de l'hôtel. Par contre la plage en face de l'hôtel est un peu sale et des bateaux y son acosté, et les jetskis ne semble pas sûr. Par contre à l'autre extremité de la plage, la plage est beaucoup plus propre et la zone de nage beaucoup plus grande (30 min de marche de l'hôtel), par contre la plage est rempli de chaises longue d'un bout à l'autre. l'hôtel se trouve également à 20 min de marche de la fameuse bangla road, très animé le soir. la nourriture de l'hôtel est plutôt bonne. il y a beaucoup de bar (bungalow) en face de l'hotel. 생각보다 큰 규모의 호텔로 빠통시내와 인접해 있어 위치는 상당히 만족스럽습니다. 관광보다는 휴양에 목적으로 둔 여행으로 호텔내 넓직한 풀장에서 4살 아이와 여유롭게 보낸시간이 오래도록 기억에 남을거 같습니다. 호텔내 주요 투숙객은 서양인들이 압도적으로 많은것으로 느껴졌었는데 와이프는 한국사람이 별로 없는게 더 좋았다는 이야기도 있었습니다. 호텔내 숙박 시설이 베스트의 수준은 아닌걸로 판단됩니다만 가족이 보내기에 전혀 부족함이 없었습니다. 다음에 기회가 된다면 다시 투숙을 하는것도 전혀 꺼려지지 않는 호텔 입니다.

Idéalement situé au bout de l'une des artères principales de Patong, cet Hôtel a deux entrée dont l'une donnant directement sur la plage. Le soir, on est à deux pas de Bangla street, ses bars son ambiance endiablée, par contre la plage en face de l’hôtel est horrible, il faudra compter 300 bath pour au minimum pour se rendre à une plage potable. Les chambres ont elles était remise à neuf, modernes et confortable, on regrettera le wifi payant avec un système de tickets pas vraiment pratique. Oubliez le petit déj et le buffet, c'est infâme. 【良い】 ・深夜２時のレイトチェックアウトも問題なく済ませることができ、スタッフの対応も親切。 ・プールもきれいで気持ちよく、繁華街も近い。 ・２部屋予約したが、リクエストを入れなくても隣同士の部屋を用意してくれ、２部屋間のド アを開ければ、２ベッドルームタイプの部屋にできた。 ・ホテル手配のタクシーも、適正価格で乗車できた。 ・朝食ビュッフェがおいしい。 【悪い】 ・ネット環境が悪い。Wifiは100バーツ/人で30分を払ったのにつながらず。 部屋から電話をすればすぐ接続できると言われたが、実際はフロントで対応。 ・シャワーの水が若干弱く、ぬるいままだったが、我慢できる程度。 ・歯ブラシがない。

家族５人で２部屋利用しました。１階のプ-ルビュ-の部屋でした。２部屋共、シャワ-の出がとても悪く今まで泊まったパトンのホテルで最悪でした。食事は普通です。ホテル送迎を事前にメ-ルでお願いしました。英語が話せなくても何とかなりました。ヤシの木が南国ムードを盛り上げます。プールが３箇所あり毎日利用しました。プ-ルでのんびりするには、お薦めのホテルだと思います。土曜日の夜、ビ-チ側のビュッフェ（１人530バ-ツ）に行って見ました。生バンドの演奏があり我々が日本人だと分かると日本の曲を演奏してくれました。東洋人が少ないホテルです。静かに過ごすにはお勧めです。

ホテルのスタッフの対応は可もなく不可もなく。チェックイン時は丁寧だったが滞在中に部屋についての質問などにした際には若干面倒臭そうなかんじだった。 wifiが部屋では使えないのが痛かった。 フロント周辺では使用できるが二時間300バーツとのことで割高。。ちかくのお店で使った方がよい。 パトンビーチの端に位置するので、ショッピングに出る際には逆端までいってもどってくるようにした方がよい。 プールは夜中にも入っている人が結構いた。 イベントをやっていたので部屋まで音がかなり聞こえた。夜中まで遊ぶ人は問題ないが、夜ゆっくりやすみたい人には向かないと思う。 部屋の中は綺麗だが廊下は狭く古い感じ。 このホテルに滞在する前に他ホテルで広めのヴィラにとまっていたので余計にそう感じたのかもしれない […] 。 いたってノーマルな大型ホテルでなんら不便はないが、一泊のコストを考えるとやや満足できない。(他に安いところがいくらでもあるので) Les mer

道に面した一番安い部屋だったのでプールサイドにすれば良かったなあーと思いました 理由は夜うるさいからです あとはスタッフもプールもみんな良くて、ロケーションもバッチリでした

WiFi koster 300 Bht for 2 timer. Helt urimeligt. Nabohotellet Holiday Inn har gratis WiFi på hele hotellet også værelserne. Derfor vil vi ikke bo Patong Merlin Hotel næste gang, men antagelig på Holiday Inn Patong Beach.

sono stato sei notti in questo hotel: unico neo, non certo devastante, il fatto che pur parlando in inglese non era facile farsi capire da tutto il personale dell'hotel. Questo però è un problema che ho riscontrato in tutta la Thailandia. Per il resto il servizio è stato molto confortevole, puntuale, sempre tutti molto gentili e disponibili.
