Enestående utsikt! Rett ut mot Capri. Med en solnedgang man sent vil glemme. Stille rolig bitteliten landsby, meget sentralt på Amalfi kysten. Nydelig mat og utmerket service!! Familien som eier og driver ivaretar gjestene personlig. Verdens beste pizza restaurant ca 150 meter Sør for hotellet parallelt med kirken. Bra fungerende parkering. Omtalen av hotellet stemte helt det vi opplevde

Leiligheten på 2 soverom og stue m/kjøkken hadde grei standard. Satte stor pris på gratis internett. Beliggenheten er veldig sentral midt i området for butikker og restauranter. Kort vei til togstasjon som tok oss til Pompei og tilsvarende buss som tok oss til Positano. rett før togstasjon var Deco supermarked som hadde en flott kjøtt og ostedisk. Vårt opphold var helt utenom turistsesongen, slik at noen butikker og restauranter var stengt. men til gjengjeld var det fredelig og rolig.

Store gode rom, flotte bad og gode senger. Fantastisk frokost bestående av parmaskinke, parmesan og nyypresset juice i alle varianter. Verdens første Pizzeria med verdens beste Pizza ligger 5 minutters gange fra hotellet. Et must!

Denne lille byen ligger nydelig til over hvite, bratte klipper, med en fantastisk utsikt mot Napoli-bukta. Typiske produkter fra Sorrento lages med disse sitrusfruktene, blant annet Limoncello, en veldig smakfull sitronlikør, sitronsjokolade, fargerike keramikkgjenstander med sitronmotiver og sitronsåpe. Hotellet var en helt grei opplevelse. Ligger i rolige omgivelser og det er lite støy fra gate og andre hotell. Uteområdene gir mulighet både for basseng og stille lesing under et tre - eller et glass vin. Greie rom og velfungerende små bad, godt renhold og hyggelig betjening. "Overnight is ok"
The hotel is located near the train station so it was an easy walk. We had an upgraded room, and the 4th floor had a nice view of the water. The breakfast bar was well stocked. But even though our room was not directly on the street, it was very noisy. The pipes (water?) rattled throughout the night and the bed was very firm. I woke up with a headache […] from being awakened so many times during the night. Although it was ok for a one-night stay, I'd upgrade to a nicer waterfront hotel if staying longer in Sorrento. "Unexpected quality for price and location"
The hotel's own website seems to understate its excellent location, as it has an opening into the main street of Sorrento just a short walk from the main square. It is within walking distance of the scenic old mill, the train station, the marina (with its outstanding seafood restaurants) and its stunning views of the bay of Naples and the hillside villas […] and hotels of Sorrento. The staff was very accommodating to our special needs, allowing us to leave our luggage and to use its restroom facilities even after we had checked out. Also, the price of the rooms was reasonable. Our party did not take the advice of the female night clerk who recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door; instead, we ate at Ristorante Delfino at the marina (which I also highly recommend). "Fabulous central location"
We stayed at Hotel Eden for 4 days. The location was ideal --short walk to the harbor to catch ferries to Naples and Capri, short walk to train station, 1 minute walk to Pizza Tasso and all of the restaurants, shops, cafes and sights. We paid a little bit more for a room with garden/pool view and small terrace, which we felt was worth it. The breakfast […] buffet in a bright, large room was very extensive. "Great Place to Stay in Sorrento"
My wife and I spent two weeks in late September, 2011 at the Hotel Eden. The room was not luxurious but was very clean and up to date. The hotel staff is outstanding and the hotel is family run. Every time we had a question or a request, there was a quick, friendly response. The best thing about Hotel Eden is the location. It is practically on Piazza […] Tasso - which is the center of Sorrento. The area is beautiful and exciting. I would recommend Hotel Eden to anyone seeking a hotel value in Sorrento. Les mer
"OOPS..."
Upon our arrival we were put into room #66 and was told it was on the first floor. After getting off the elevator on the 1st floor, we then carried our luggage UP 5 flights of stairs (I guess they meant...the 1st floor from the top). The room looked like something for the help..It was horrible. The next day they put us into a much better room which […] ended up with ants in the shower area. Other then Luigi, talking to the staff was like talkibg to a wall. BTW if you do stay here or maybe anywhere else in Sorrento, before taking a taxi to your hotel...check to see how far your hotel is from the train station or the dock..we made the mistake of paying 20 Euro's for a 4 block ride. "The Hotel Eden in Sorrento was convenient but not"
comfortable. The beds were bad and they put us on an annex on 4th floor with no elevator. There was a good view and a sunporch, but room needed updating. A/C worked fine, but moldy shower. Maybe the regular rooms are better. Internet is $5/hr. Was a 5 min. walk to train station and downtown. Pool was in good shape.
"Hotel Eden was great."
This hotel turned out to be a great place to stay but the room assigned at first was terrible. It had no view and smelled of smoke. The second room's view was of pipes and wires of a dismal inner courtyard. I rejected that room. I was about to seek lodging elsewhere but they insisted I see another room. This was a real winner with new fixtures, fresh […] paint and a delightful view of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius. The people here really aimed to please after the initial false steps. They were helpful about what to see and do and very pleasant. I would encourage anyone staying here to make sure the accommodations are to their liking before accepting them. "VERY nice staff and good location"
We didn't spend much time out of the room due to my sick husband, but the staff was extremely helpful and nice. They directed us to medical help, an english bookstore and left us alone when my husband needed to sleep all day. We didn't get to see the town much but we seemed to be in a close neighborhood to a lot of restaurants and shops. The train station […] was about 5 blocks away. Les mer

"hotel eden-the best in sorrento"
the hotel is clean and comfortable. we loved the daily breakfast and the perfect location of the hotel to the center of the town-(a secret walkway and you're suddenly in the middle of town!). we enjoyed the pool immensely and the front desk staff was beyond helpful and courteous. the person who really shone was a gentleman named "luigi". he was everywhere […] and always there to assist us. he took the keys to our car upon arrival and parked it for us. he would help us get our car out if it was a tight fit, and he was always there to tell us how to get down to the marina to go to capri or to start the drive to the amalfi coast. he helped us access the internet and really made our stay there memorable. when i return to this beautiful part of the world, i won't stay anywhere else-and i hope that luigi and the rest of that nice staff will be there. thank you, luigi and company!! "Find another hotel!"
The only good thing about the hotel was the location. It was a short walk to the main piazzas, but far enough that there was no traffic noise at night. There was black mold on the bathroom ceiling and when I brought it to the attention to the front desk, he was very dismissive and did nothing about it. "Much better than expected...GREAT"
After reading a few review I was expecting the worst and preparing my family for a hotel that was going to be the worst stay of our two week trip throughout Italy. Well it was amazing, I was so surprised at the friendliness of Luigi at the front desk. The pool was amazing. The price you can't go wrong. The restaurant was great service and excellent […] food. The nightlife is very relaxed and there are plenty of spaces to sit and have a glass of wine if your balcony is not where you want to be. The main piazza is literally steps away. Location is amazing! The room is not a five star room however if you come to Sorrento to stay in the room then you are missing out. The beds are comfortable, my kids had fun at the pool and the front desk staff was more than helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend Hotel Eden, just be open minded and don't knit-pick, enjoy the city and the hotel and stay in your room to sleep. Also the breakfast was 10X better than I expected, there was a huge variety of food for an all included breakfast. Les mer

The hotel was clean and in a good location, but-the rooms were very basic and not what you'd expect for a three star hotel. beds awful, the double bed was basically 2 singles shoved together and covered with a double sheet. the 'double' bed split in two constantly. the door to the bathroom opened into the sink of the bathroom. no bedside lights. shower […] drain didn't work. "Eden Hotel Sorrento - we will return next year"
Charming hotel with friendly atmosphere. It has a lovely pool (pool closes too early at 6 pm - better if it was 8 pm) within the garden. It has a good buffet breakfast. It is near the town centre and has a restaurant next door that has very good pizza. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. "Great Location for the money"
This Hotel opened unto the street about 1 block from the Main Piazza in Sorento. The room was not luxurious and the air conditioning could not keep up with the afternoon sun. Most rooms had a veranda but ours did not. The lobby was very luxurious and new in appearance. The rooms were not of the same vintage. We were mostly comfortable and service was […] good. The staff was friendly and helpful to the extent they could be. The hotel shared a swimming pool with the neighboring hotel and it was very nice and not crowded. "Great Value"
This hotel was great for the price. Clean and newly remodeled. It is right down the block from the high end hotels, and two blocks from the water and center of town. We had an awesome view of the water from our 5th story room. Breakfast was continental, but had a decent selection of items. We would recommend it to people on a budget.

The room was well-priced, very quiet, had a balcony with a pretty view and was in an excellent location near the town square. For the price, it is hard to complain. "It was good enough for the price we paid"
The hotel and room was basic standards however was clean and had amazing views of Naples Bay if you had a Relax Room with french doors and balcony. At the time of the booking it does not clarify the difference btw Standard and Relax room therefore had to pay extra upon arrival to have the relax room. The bathroom was very small with a shower cubicle […] which probably needed a replacement. The buffet breakfast included in the price was very simple ie. continental style so dont expect your full english style breakfast, however, this was more than adequate for us. "Well worth the stay and money"
Hotel Eden was an extremely pleasant hotel. I recently visited Sorrento (July 2009) with the intention of having a chilled and relaxed break. As I checked into the hotel the receptionist said that because I was staying longer than most guest usually do, they would upgrade me to the sea view room, which admittedly was not what I was expecting. To be […] perfectly honest from first impressions I thought the room was dark and didn’t feel comforting, but then I decided to open the shutters and I was amazed to look out onto a gigantic balcony with sun lounges and tables and chairs (this balcony was a private balcony for us only). The balcony its self was bigger than the room. This really changed my perspective of the room; it made the place feel very open comfortable. I was delighted to discover that the view we had from our balcony looked over the whole of Sorrento, Vesuvius, and the sea. Furthermore it was a stone throw away from the centre of Sorrento and the path down to the sea. Well worth the money, I recommend this to any one wanting to stay in Sorrento. If you are on a budget this is the hotel for you. The rooms are just decent but the location is GREAT! If you don't spend a lot of time in your room and just sleep there at night it will be fine. "Great location, but could use some help..."
This hotel is in the perfect location in Sorrento, just off the main street that leads to the town's main square. The hotel from the outside looks great. But thy had furniture in the halls leading to the rooms that were way outdated and worn down by being in the sun. The rooms themselves are okay compared to other european hotels I've stayed in, but […] the shower had black mold in it, and the shower door didn't close properly. Also, to take a shower you had to turn off the water to soap up, open the door to shave your legs, because the shower itself was only big enough to stand in. I'm sure upgraded rooms were better, as we just got the standard room, but this place needs some serious updating. The free breakfast was good, as well as the restaurant itself for lunch and dinner- great food at really great prices. Also, even though the pool for the hotel is now the next door neighbor hotel's pool, it's pretty good too. Les mer

Sådär. Läget är OK, men på fel sida gatan. Hotellen på andra sidan gatan ligger på klippkanten ut mot havet. Men de är ju i regel dyrare också... Rummet var relativt nyrenoverat (tror jag). Tyvärr hade de dock antagligen bara målat över en mögelskada. Det luktade inte bra. Sen kan man fråga sig var poolen de sa att de hade låg. Vi skulle inte välja […] detta hotell igen. Les mer
"Lidt nedslidt!"
Hotellet har en glimrende beliggenhed - og en god udsigt! Men udsigten er kun hvis man står ude på altanen. Termoruderne i altandøren er punkterede og fyldt med fugt - så der er matterede ruder! Og møblementer er generelt nedslidt! Men hotellet ligger godt.

Prijs / kwaliteit was dit een goed hotel. ideale ligging in het centrum van Sorrento. Vlakbij het station (waarvan we geen geluidshinder ondervonden hebben). Ontbijt : verzorgd en correct. Zwembad : goed en verzorgd. Kamers zijn toe aan renovatie
