This is definitely a budget hotel, as long as you have that in mind then it's fine. It's a bit old and could use some refurbishing but it's still OK. Attached restaurant but no breakfast included.

This hotel was alright, we had to wait 2 hours upon arrival for the room to be cleaned, even though we had arranged for an early arrival.... It was very noisy during the day, but very quiet at night. We had a good sleep! There were two remotes for the television in our bedroom, neither worked... but the remote for the other tv worked for it, so that […] was ok. "Satisfied Traveler"
I stayed at the EconoLodge Tuesday night, June 7 2011. When I signed in, I was in a hurry and the attendant made sure we got the paperwork done right away. It took no longer than 3 minutes He gave me clear directions to my meeting destination in Cranbrook. This was my first visit to Cranbrook so I very much appreciated the help. The next morning, […] after a very comfortable sleep in a very clean room, I got the same good service from the attendant, had breakfast in the adjoining restaurant and left Cranbrook feeling very comfortable, rested and appreciative of the great service from the EconoLodge staff. "Lots of room for Visitors"
While staying we had some of our local friends stop by. Lots of room for everyone to sit and enjoy conversation
"room temperature too hot - no duvet cover for bed"
I was disappointed that there was only a thin little coverlet for the bed while the room was heated to a sweltering temperature. This is dispicably bad for the environment, meanwhile it's not healthy for people either. The air becomes so hot and dry! Why not provide warm bed covers so that the room temperature can be kept comfortably low?

"Econo Lodge"
The rooms were old but clean. The hotel is just off the main drag - but very quite. The items in the shower were held on the wall by duct tape - it needs more maintenance. We also found our room unlocked during the day - needless to say we weren't pleased with that.

We are not totally confident that the sheets were changed -- there was a blood stain on one set but it appeared old -- still gross and they should throw them away if the stains can't come out. Pool was closed so really a further discount should have been offered as we chose the hotel for the pool. This hotel is terrible. The outdoor pool that is advertised is empty, in terrible condition and will likely never reopen. The room was not clean with garbage from previous tenants laying on the floor. All together not a motel I would ever recommend to anyone.
"OUT OF THE 60'S"
What a dump. The only good photo is that of the swimming pool. That hasn't seen water for years. Very very dated. If you liked the 60's, you'll love this

The pool was drained and completely out of service! A big disappointment for kids who had been in the car all day. The restaurant, while convenient, was way overpriced and portions way too small (pizza). There were lots of choices in the immediate neighborhood and we would not go with this one again.

very clean, nice, extra large room, friendly staff, air conditioner worked awsome. very low price,but very high quality. right on main road, easy to find. so many resturants within walking distance. mall across street. so so please with stay. will stay again.

In reality, we get a hotel room so we have a place to sleep; for this the Econolodge was fine (and we appreciated the fridge and microwave), but the pool was disgusting and our kids were disappointed since we didn't even let them get in it. Hallway/deck carpeting needs replacing, and spiffing up of the grounds and pool would do wonders for an otherwise […] good place to sleep. We thought the reception staff was outstanding in helping us with further reservations. They were very accomodating, pleasant and informative.
