Woke up at 1 AM because the room was wreaking of smoke. I walked into the bathroom and could smell the smoke pouring through the vent in the ceiling. It filled my room and I had to prop the door open with my suitcase to air it out. I called the front desk and they said they would "get to the bottom of it." My room had hundreds of ants infesting it. I had to change rooms. In the new room I found several spiders crawling across the master bed. A terrible stay and the staff were rude and unfriendly.

The room was adequate. The air conditioner was on its last leg and quite noisy. The hotel had seen better days and the third floor hallway was noticeably sinking in spots. I wouldn't refuse to stay there again but it wouldn't be my first or second choice.

We wanted to stay away from the Springbreak crowd. The staff was excellent. There was a line when I went to check in but she very efficiently registered everyone. The breakfast is outstanding. The only issue is that we asked for a pool and it is shaded and very cold. The spa had a broken heater and was cold as well.

Hotel is not close to the new airport, it was around a 40 minute drive from ECP. So be aware. If the hotel is lightly booked, you will may not get hot water to your room unless you tell the staff to help out. Apparently if there is not enough demand for hot water in the building, it may not flow to some rooms without forcing it into the pipes. Good […] news is that is does work, but the bad news was that I couldn't get a hot shower the first morning I was there. Bed was ok, definitely an average mattress. Location was ok to Tyndall AFB, nothing really too much closer that looked reputable. Getting into the hotel off Hwy 22 requires a U-turn, it would have been nice to have an easier turn into the parking lot. Les mer

The hotel and room was clean. The first night there my key did not work. I had to go down to the front desk from the second floor 3 times before it worked properly. I went out to the pool to look at it and was locked out due to a faulty lock which was being maintained with a strip of tape. If I didn't have my cell phone to call the front desk, I would […] have been locked out there all night. Had a problem with hot water, called front desk, the attendant at the time, Stacey, said he would come up to my room to check the water. I wanted to know if him coming to the room would result in it being fixed before I invited him up at 6 in the morning while I was alone. This insulted him. He decided he would give me a key to another room and have me either drag all my belongings to another room to take a shower or walk through the hallways in a towel. I wasn't happy about that and really just wanted maintenance to fix it. Long story short, he never brought me a key or came to my room and ended up hanging up on me every time I called to get help (3 different times). The 4th time, he didn't even bother to answer the phone. He was very rude and was getting off work in a few minutes so I guess he didn't care how he treated me. Good news is the next front desk attendant, Mary Kay was the sweetest. She got the maintenance man (who was also great) and was wonderful to me for the rest of my stay. The manager was informed by her about the situation and he generously agreed to refund me one nights' stay. Overall the manager and the staff were wonderful, I was just unfortunately extremely turned off by the treatment I received from Stacey and because of him, I would not stay at this Holiday Inn again. Front desk was rude and unhelpful. Asked where can I get pool towels, response was "from me"... that was it. Front desk seemed very eager to sit in her chair and read her book then address our needs. Went to the pool that evening. Lucky for us I noticed our room key did not work for the door or we would have been locked out. We decided to stuff news […] paper in the door then to deal with the front desk. Next morning there was new crew same poor attitude. Never again will we set foot inside!!!! Les mer

I enjoyed my stay! The Staff was friendly! The rooms were just as pictured on the website.

Enjoyed our stay. Had to be moved out of room on first night due to water not draining out of tub but other than that everything was great. The continetal breakfast was good.

Needed something close to beach It was too far away

hotel was clean,staff was considerate.however couldnt check in until 3 hours after i was told a time. i requested a hotel with a hot tub, but it was very dirty. room was clean,but air conditioner didnt work.

Close to the Air Base where our son was stationed. Facility was very clean and neat and the management made sure the spring breakers did not get out of hand. Breakfast buffet was very nice too. The only thing we noticed that could be better was the entrance to get into the hotel lot. Off the main road but not marked. Would recommend to others to stay […] here. Les mer

The hotel was decent and it was located where I needed to be for several different business events going on over several days. My only complaint was that when I asked for a late check-out (from 11am to 12:00pm), she wouldn't allow it, saying the staff wouldn't have time to clean the rooms in time for the next guest. That meant that I had to embark on […] a long journey in my suit instead of being able to change into leisure attire. It would have made things a lot easier for me, but she said no. Les mer

-the front desk clerk was very friendly -the rooms were some of the cleanest rooms I've ever stayed in. -great "free" breakfast at the hotel

The room was not real clean, we had problems with air conditioner and our remote was broken.
