Q1 Resort & Spa - Surfers Paradise

Leiligheten svarte absolutt ikke til forventningene i forhold til den relativt høye prisen. Vil ikke anbefale dette hotellet. Beliggenheten i Surfers var perfekt, men leiligheten var svært enkelt innredet og manglet sjarm. Ekstraseng var oppredd når vi kom, men pledd var uteglemt. Strykjernet var også borte. Vinduene var ekstremt skitne utvendig. Vi […] hadde en 1 roms i 25 etasje og i stuen var det kun 1 sofa med ett lavt lite salongbord og spisemøbler med 3 hardplaststoler. På terrassen var det 2 plaststoler og ett bittelite kafèbord. Kjøkkenet ellers var greit utstyrt. Vi ble overrasket når det viste seg at vi måtte betale 21 AUD pr person for å ta heisen opp til takterrassen, trodde dette ville være gratis for hotellets gjester. Les mer

The Q1 Resort was magnificent. Apartment was fantastic, views north to north west were splendid. Could not have asked for anything more as our apartment was a pleasure to come home to each evening. 40th Floor location was fantastic. Will enjoy another trip back here again.

Surfers might not be the nicest spot any more with all the skyscrapers. But there was nothing wrong with Q1 and it is walking distance to everything.

Nice enough place to stay, but its a bit of a waste of time staying at the worlds highest residential building if they are gonna stick you on the 6th floor! I guess someone's gotta though..

This was really nice experience @ Q1. The hotel is huge, the "room" is also huge with absolutely everything you need during your stay. The furniture, TV, DVD, kitchen equipment was working and in wonderful condition. The Surfers Paradise beach is just one hundred meters from the Hotel. First time to Gold Coast, spacious room (one bedroom apartment), simple but comfortable interior decoration, fully equipped kitchen with washing machine and dryer, will only do bedding, collect garbage, changing towel put on floor, even NOT vacuum clean the floor...... Very very good view with beach on the left and city+river view on the right, close […] to shopping centre, big swimming pool but not that suitable for small child under 5, plenty of car park spaces but only some allotted to apartment residences. We pulled up to the entrance to check-in. We got a parking permit and keys to the resident car park, along with room and elevator keys of course. Access to the rooms from the car park is via lift, no stairs to climb. The first problem was the fiddly room key, which is of the RFID variety and only worked on the 10th to 15th attempt. This happened every […] time. While waiting at reception and around the lifts we overheard several other guest swap horror stories about the keys. We were only allowed one key, which was a little restricting for a group of four, especially because the lift requires a key. Also, the key holder was starting to fall apart and we were worried about loosing one of them. But that frustration was short lived, because the apartment was stunning. Four of us stayed in a 16/F one bedroom apartment facing south with nice views. The modern and clean apartment is spacious, open, well designed, with an observatory that has fully open-able windows, and large sliding doors separating the observatory as well as the bedroom. There is only one queen size bed (perfectly comfortable), so two of us had to contend with the sofa bed, which was a bit too soft, so one of us moved to the second sofa. The windows let in plenty of light and the white decor really brightens the mood. Everything is well maintained, the kitchen area features top quality utensils and appliances, all of which were quite new and in excellent repair. The walk-through closet from the bedroom to the well-laid out bathroom was a nice touch; of course there is a separate entry as well. The only gripe here was that the shower enclosure let water leak out into the bathroom all way to the closet, so we had to be more careful. The main shopping street is a short walk north, with everything you need on the way there in terms of groceries and restaurants. Stayed in a 1 bedroom oceanview apartment and it was beautiful. The views are fantastic. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful for our whole stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The quality of blankets are not good, it made me sensitive. After first day room clean, one handtowel lost. We asked the reception, till the third day, in this period we asked them again, at last they brought 4 handtowels. The handtowel is not important, the most important thing is the attitude.

Great location, great facilities for a family, great views of the Gold Coast - perfect place to stay for a reasonable price. Staff very helpful at desk. More than satisfied with our stay - wished we were there for longer!

Q1 was a great hotel. Friendly staff, clean well-appointed rooms that were relatively sound-proof and close to all needed amenities. The pools were huge and a provided a lovely place to laze around and the cafe overlooking the pool was well-priced with good quality food. Although Q1 doesn't have its own restaurant, we found plenty of good quality restaurants […] in close proximity. The Q1 bar was a great too - great at sunset, although it would have been nice to have one free entry for being a hotel guest, but as a once-off, it was worth the entry cost. We had a great stay. The rooms are roomy white and very bare with NO pictures lamps or potplants, very minimal. The indoor balsomy which is completely glass looks like a panic room or jail cell with one white plastic chair and a tiny table. Do not waste your money there are tons of nicer places

Stayed 2 nights for a Womens Soccer Team end of year trip - had a ball, rooms were huge and so nice... view was amazing. The pool Bar and Cafe had amazing cocktails and yummy food! Will got back again for sure! The location of the hotel was great and the veiws were fantasic along with the staff were excelent great place

Beautiful 1 bedroom ocean apartment and very well appointed. No noise on the 13th floor and staff very helpful. Only downside was that it rained for the whole 3 days!

the room was very well presented on arrival, the staff were very friendly. As parents of a 21 month old child the enclosed balcony was an important feature, the piece of mind it gave us was extemely important. We would highly recommend the Q1 to all families

Fantastic reduced rates. Great location. Comfortable and clean accomadation. Day spa excellent with fantastic winter special deal.

Staff were friendly enough. Room was nice and big however teh entire level had a bad sewerage smell and when the reception was notified nothing was done. Its annoying you still hve to pay for the Q deck when your paying to stay in the hotel. Pool looks nice would be perfect in summer. I would prefer a hotel with a balcony and in house movies. While the room itself was very nice I requested when booking 2 single beds I received a king bed so I rand reception they sent up up a fold away ben NOT GOOD ENOUGH SERVICE you pay good money for what !!!!!!

Hotel reception was excellent. Finding a parking space with the required orange dot (non-residents park) was a bit trying, though. The one bedroom apartment was terrific- great space & modern fitting. Air con was a bit tricky this visit: kept creeping down to 22 degrees and there was no extra blanket. Housekeeping were great, In and out so fast.

Rooms were more than I expected, spa baths in each room and full dining area - in one bedroom unit. Beautiful pools. Amazing views, pity you didn't get discount to go up to viewing platform as you were staying there, quite expensive to do that. Didn't get room serviced when staying two nights, just dropped off clean towels, but overall very, very happy […] with Q1 - would recommend. Les mer

There was not an indoor bar in the hotel The only bar was outside around an el fresco dining place beside the pool---it rained when we were there,so it was unsatisfactory---you would have got wet there or back or both

Very very dissapointed, the place was large and cream with one cream painting on the wall, it had an empty feeling and no atmosphere at all. Both tv's were the old fashioned type and had bad reception The bedroom was two single beds zipped together with a dull grey blanket to match the carpet and that was it. Found this hotel well appointed, light and airy. Spacious bedroom and living areas. Shower was a good size (even for a large person.) Staff friendly and helpful. Little disappointed that we had to pay to visit the observation deck as I thought at least one visit to Q-Deck would have been included in the accommodation cost. ４日間滞在させていただきました。午前中のチェックインでしたが，快く中にいれてもらえまいした。中に入って広さときれいさにびっくり。毎日洗たくや食洗機をまわしましたが，苦にもならず。完全な個人旅行だったので，何を申しこむにも一苦労。しかし，フロントに日本のスタッフの方がいらっしゃったので，とても助かりました。スパもとても気持ちよく，最高の５日間でした。

Q1适合年轻pair入住的酒店，因为我要的是Seaview，所以景观不错，房间内设施很modern，距离中心的冲浪者天堂也很近，整体感觉很好！

2011年10月ゴールドコーストを訪れた際、こちらのホテルに２泊お世話になりました。 早朝６：３０に現地到着のフライトでしたので、事前にダメもとで「アーリーチェックイン」のお願いをメールでしてみましたが、あっさりと「リクエストに追加した」旨の返信。 ついでに、「海側の高層階の部屋」のリクエストもしちゃいました。 結局、ホテルに到着すると「前日が満室」だったとのことで、アーリーチェックインは出来ませんでしたが、部屋は、１９階の海側を手配していただけました。 生活家電はもちろん、Ipod対応のステレオやDVDプレーヤーまで完備してるので、長期滞在の際も快適に過ごせると思います。 部屋は非常に大きく、かつ清潔に保たれており、文句なしです。部屋の隅にはバルコニー（窓の開閉が可能なので、雨でもO […] K）もあります。 ビールを飲みながらのゴールドコーストの海岸の眺めは、格別でした。 フロントには日本人スタッフの方もおりますので、展望台へのチケットを購入する際は助かりました。 ホテルの立地もサーファーズパラダイスの繁華街から４ブロック（徒歩で５分前後）ですので、買い物なども気軽に行ける距離です。 今度機会があったら、是非また利用したいホテルです。 Les mer

房间景观很好，而且一应俱全，非常方便、舒适，下次还会多住几天的。地理位置也特别好，离WOOLWORTH超市很近，是个非常好的渡假胜地。
