"Good experience"
The hotel is well maintained with a friendly and helpful staff. The grounds are well maintained. Large rose garden with a good parking lot that was well lit. Only negative was side access door that wasn't working. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was dirty, small and cramped. You pay top dollar for a flea bag hotel room and we had cockroaches.

We have stayed in four of the six hotels in Delano and this one is by far the best. The freakfast beats the others. The location is good and it is quite quiet.

There generally isn't much reason to visit the area, but we always like staying here when visiting family. Rooms clean. Staff friendly.

I was very happy with the Holiday Inn and had stayed there last year, my only problem was with my reseveration through Hotel.com, I had asked for a non-smoking room but my res. was made for a smoking room through Hotel.com,other then that Holiday Inn was great.

Me and an associate ordered non-smoking rooms in advance. However, when we got there, they only provided us with smoking rooms. The stench from the smoking rooms was strong enough to make me (literally) sick. Everything smelled like cigarettes in the room. It was disgusting.

After thirty years staying occasionally in Delano, while visiting relatives, since this hotel openned it is still the better of the hotels here.

Nice hotel. Big room and very clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was wonderful. Doors seem to be heavy and noisy though. Rooms are big!

The Holiday Inn Express Hotel was the best that Delano apparently has to offer; this hotel afforded a pleasant stay, facilitated by friendly and helpful staff. I found no fault with the hotel or its' staff. I was/am outraged, however, by being locked into staying all 5 nights for an illogically high rate. It was an outrageous price for a place like […] Delano; once booked, I either had to "no-show" and forfeit one full night or once registered, obligate myself to all 5 nights. I will use hotels.com once more only to book one more night somewhere to receive the one free night bonus. Hotels.com proved inflexible, unreasonable, and short-sighted. In town for the March Meet @ Famoso Raceway. Great location, easy on and off from Hwy.99, great neighborhood with food & shopping close. Easy drive to the track.

"Best Hotel in this town"
This hotel is clean and staff is great. Someone was smoking upstairs and the smoke moved into our room. I asked hotel manager to come to our room and he immediately solved the problem. The pool was great and very clean.

"Outstanding Hotel"
We were pleasently surprised with his hotel. Not only was it clean, convenient, and comfortable, the personnel was very helpful with directions, suggestions for eating, etc. The room was lovely, far exceeded our expectations of a "chain" hotel. Not only was it spotlessly clean, it was decorated beautifully & very comfortable. We would stay here again […] without a doubt & have recommended it to friends that travel this area frequently. "Nice, clean hotel for the area"
The bed is comfortable with adequate pillows. In the bathroom the access to the toilet paper is a little far and will ending up pulling a long roll of paper and that is a waste. The tile floor on some areas there is loose spot and makes creaking sound when you step on it as it is in the middle of the room. Over all, it is not bad for the area.
