Brentford isn't really the heart of anything, but for my visit, this hotel suited my needs. Very nice rooms in the executive floor with good ability to work

Jeg overnattet i 3 netter, syns generelt det er en bra hotell med vennlig stab. Den enkleste veien inn til sentrum er å ta buss E8 til Boston Manor og ta tuben videre derfra til byen. Likte hotellet veldig godt og kommer nok tilbake. :-)

Hotellet i London som passer til de fleste formål man har med turen. Rommene er store, renholdet godt og servicen er god. Det ligger litt utenfor selve sentrumskjernen, men med gode buss- og undergrundsforbindelser tar det deg kort tid å dra til og fra både sentrum og Heathrow flyplass. Busstoppen ligger 20 m unna hotellet.

Hotellet var fint og personalet var hjelpsomme. Dog var det vanskelig å komme seg til sentrum. Man måtte ta buss OG tog for å komme seg fram - så mye tid ble brukt til transportering til og fra hotellet. Vi skulle fly fra Standsted, så vi måtte reise i 2,5 time for å komme oss fra hotellet til flyplassen - vil være enklere for de som flyr fra Heathrow […] da det er i nærheten. Vi bestilte mat der en kveld da det var helt tomt i lokalet. Maten var seig og uten saus (fikk noen poser med kald fiskesaus og majones, til biff vel og merke..), vi fikk heller ikke spørsmål om maten var god - noe som burde være en selvfølge. Så spis heller en annen plass enn på hotellet! Hotellrommene var rene og fine, så hvis man er villig til å reise lenge for å komme til sentrum, så er selve hotellet helt greit, men kommer selv til å bestille hotell mer sentralt neste gang! Det tok sin tid å komme seg dit. Billigste måte var mørk blå subway-linje til Boston Manor og buss nr E8 til Brentford. Dette er ikke opplyst på hotellets hjemmeside, noe det burde være. Hotellet var kjempefint på alle måter, men litt dumt at frokost ikke var inkludert (vi kjøpte mat på nærbutikken). Nice hotel, good price and location to Bus and Tube. Take nearby E8 Bus (short hop) to Boston Manor subway station (Piccadilly line) to London. Buy Zone 1-4 Oyster Card at convenience store around corner from hotel.

As others mentioned the taxi ride from the airport is pricey, but arriving late after a day of travel was our best choice. The next day we took the bus/subway duo to reach the airport. Wanted a beer after we arrived and wasn't able to pay cash at the bar...had to go to the reception area to pay and return to collect my beer.

The building is nice and new and the breakfast was excellent.Although its a very subjective issue, I found the decision to furnish the room with double beds not queens and the quality of mattress to be most uncomfortable. Adults struggle to share the narrowness of the bed comfortably in my view. This and the wi fi policy would stop me from choosing […] holiday inn again unless there was no other choice. Even as a frequent stayer member of IHG you only got 24 hours free wifi in room and I couldn't pick up bt wifi as if they were blocking other wifi signals in to the rooms. Room was well furnished. The parking fee was 12 per night. The locale is very down market and nothing nearby. Car is necessary in my view. Les mer

The hotel was nice and comfortable. While it is slightly out of the way to get to most London sights it's proximity to the train to the Waterloo Station worked for my needs once I realized I could use my Oyster card (it cost less than even the tube).

The room served my business purposes well, though on the small side for the price by US standards. The exercise room overlooking the canal has a couple treadmills, stationary bike, and elliptical trainer, but no weights.

newly refurbed so very fashionable. The staff were lovely but found it hard to manage the volume of clients for breakfast. 1st morning was ok as we were later in but the 2nd morning was chaos. No one to over see and manage and disgruntled staff beinh hassled by inpatient clients. Plates ran ouyt, bacon ran ou, bread, cold beans after asking for some […] time. Tables not cleared all a knock on effect from a large party of chinese earlier. we were not in a rush so waited. Others were not so patient. Staff were extremely patient. Les mer

Our stay was comfortable. The hotel staff were very nice, helpful and polite. The room was clean and my kids liked it. My 7-yr old son actually wrote on a pad in the hotel; "I like this place". Worth the cost.

Great hotel, super helpful staff. Since its not in the center of london you get good price for excelent service. Only downside is you take about 1hr to get to london city center, but there is a bus stop almost in front of the hotel.

Nice hotel. Friendly and helpful staff...especially the front desk staff. I wasn't too crazy about the bathroom. I think I was given a room meant for a physically challenged guest.

We booked 2 rooms to stay with our 3 teenaged sons after going to see Muse at the 02 arena. It was just too expensive to stay more central and this was a great compromise. Easy to find, secure parking for just £12 overnight, excellent service and good sized clean modern rooms. We caught the E8 bus just outside to Boston Manor Tube station (£2.30 each) […] on the Piccadilly line straight into central London, easy! We had a great nights sleep, no noise from either outside or inside the hotel. We didn't eat there, breakfast was on offer for about £11 each bit our lot preferred the 10 minute walk for their Macdonalds breakfast! Les mer

Good location - 30 mins on overland into London Waterloo - good value for money. Only downside was the airplane noise on the 2nd night - constant and interrupted sleep.

The room was nice, the hotel was clean, and the staff friendly. I did not like the fact that internet in the room was not free, yet in the lobby, you could get a free connection. Why not free in the room? The bed was very soft, but surprisingly, it did not bother me. Not a lot of restaurant choices, other than one italian restaurant and some pubs close […] by. Only a breakfast buffett in the hotel (expensive by US standards), and dinner was only at the bar. The E8 bus just outside the hotel can take you to the Boston Manor underground station for a 25 min ride to Piccadilly station and the heart of London. You can get to the airport also from Boston Manor station. Overall, not a bad hotel if you are looking for something cheaper than inside London, but still not too far away. Les mer

We stayed at the Holiday Inn before a gig at Twickenham stadium and I was very impressed. The hotel is in a great location, you can get the bus from right outside along to the stadium in 15 minutes. The staff were helpful when the car park was full and sorted out our problem quickly. The hotel was better than I expected. The staff is wodnerfully friendly and helpful. I never saw or experienced emotions that were not genuine. They were responsive to the needs of all guests. The location of the hotel is conveniently located, so that bus and trains stops are readily accessible. Central London is but less than 30 minutes away, and Ealing […] broadway is less than 15. the hotel was excellent with helpful courteous staff, but top floor room was a let down, the level of noise/ vibration coming from the roof generator/airconditioning was above the comfortable limit.

The hotel is located between London and heathrow airport, very convenient for our proposal. To get to the centre you need to get the bus E8, which stops just in front of the hotel, then get the underground station Boston Manor. Very easy. The only inconvenient was the fact that the bus stopped working at 1am, so when we came back from an olympic game […] at Earls Court we had to catch a taxi. However it was only £8, from Boston Manor station. One of the best holiday inn I've ever stayed. Very friendly staff (we need a later check out and they agreed to let us staying until 2pm. Also you can pay an extra for the car parking (we paid £1 per hour, after 2pm). Not bad! Les mer

The hotel was clean and the staff were very polite and helpful. The room was a decent size and quiet. The only thing negative was my partner thought the mattress was far too soft, everytime one of us moved we felt it! We chose the hotel for the location to Kew Gardens, we jumped on a bus to get there. I thought for the price we paid, it was good value […] for money compared to other hotels we have stayed in. In terms of location and cleanliness, this hotel is great. However, after staying in the hotel 3 years in a row, I have to say that the fridge in the room has constantly been a disappointment. I booked this hotel well in advance (9 months) and think that it should be part of the hotel's routine maintenance checks to ensure all elements in the room are […] working. But upon arriving at the hotel, nothing was mentioned and the fridge did not work. I did request to move rooms, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. Disappointing to say the least! Holiday Inn was good and reception staff were really helpful regarding buses etc. We thought the breakfast tariff was a little high, but overall we had a really good stay. We would book again.

The hotel itself is great. Super clean, comfortable and nice and in very nice area. The only bad thing is that its about half an hour away from the city center itself but between the buses and the underground tubes it is still a great value. Great family room, very helpful staff, and very easy to get to from the M4. Stayed three nights and to be fair I could not have faulted the hotel in any way. Bus goes from outside to the tube station, so you can be in central London in 35 minutes...
