Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Rochester - Victor - Victor

The pool was dirty, the lady serving the breakfast was grumpy every morning and shut down the breakfast about 5 minutes early each day. We had to pay for a roll-out bed. Not the kind of experience we're used to at Holiday Inn Express

We had a nice stay other than a few minor inconveniences. The hot tub was closed and the night desk person was less than personable but the room was clean and quiet. For the price night a bad hotel.

For the price it was great. We are a family of five which many hotels don't accommodate. But there was plenty of room and a cot was delivered as soon as we checked in. The breakfast was great with eggs, sausage,. biscuits, a couple of varieties of coffee and juice. We loved this hotel for the price. It was fairly clean, and well maintained. The hotel staff was not the most accommodating we have ever run into, but it was still ok. Breakfast was sufficient, the usual self serve cold cereal, pastries, fruit and yogurt, toast, coffee. All in all, a pretty good value.

i would have to say that i would not go back to this hotel. the beds were extremely firm, i mean hard. and what we were really excited about was the pool to go swimming. but the water in the pool was green, looked slimy and cloudy, we didnt even touch it. there were used wet towels laying around everywhere. on the good side they did serve a hot breakfast […] which is always nice. the food was not that bad Les mer

Booked the hotel for a family ski weekend at Bristol Mountain. The hotel is about 8 years old and it shows signs of wear a tear, and is soon due for a refresh. Overall the hotel was clean. The towels were frayed at the edges. Other patrons of the hotel were on a hockey tournament, and had a loud party (till after 1am) which hotel management nothing […] to stop. The pool was slightly green and highly chlorinated. Booked the following night at the Best Western Plus in Victor, and the Best Western Plus is a far better hotel, at a better rate. Les mer

It's like a new hotel. Everywhere is clean and tidy. For sure I will choose this hotel again next time I travel to Victor, NY.

The hotel was a bit farther from the freeway than i understood. It wouldn't have mattered if we hadn't been driving in a blizzard. The room was very clean and quiet. The bed was a little harder than other HIEs that I have stayed at, but it wasn't too bad. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The staff was very accommodating. They delayed our check out time to accommodate our schedule. Coffee and tea was available 24/7. Breakfast was very nice. The only part we didn't like is that there is no fan in the bathroom. With three people taking showers it got extremely hot in the hotel room and we had to turn on the A/C!

Location was perfect, very clean and the breakfast was excellent. I love the cinnamon rolls.

The only thing that was a glich is that when the night desk clerk is not at the desk there isn't a means of reaching them. The hotel personnel were very professional and personable with the guests.

Walls are paper thin. We could hear people / TV in room beside us. Breakfast was slow for refills. A disappointment compared to our stay in August when we stayed on the second floor.

Loved it there, even stayed an extra night. The only thing I would suggest is that the put in a laundry area--a dryer--to dry swimsuit, in order to go into the pool over and over. Oh yes also maybe adding a shower/changing room.

Great hotel, very clean. Staff was great. Check in was quick. And they have a great breakfast buffet! The only downside is that the walls are not very well insulated. You can hear people talking next door. We had people talking quite loundly until 1:00 AM in the adjacent room. Clean modern rooms with clean bathrooms (albeit small showers). Very pleasant reception. Great hot buffet breakfast (sausages, bacon, eggs, pancakes, oh my). The Eastview Mall is a mile away (great shopping with a mega food court). Good convenient location just off I-90. Only problem we are a family of 4 and the maid gave us 3 bath towels on BOTH of […] our nights stay (even though we called the front desk the first night about it.) We had a very comfortable stay and the staff was very helpful. The hotel was close to shopping, food and highway.

It was great! Everyone from the front desk, the breakfast crew and the cleaning crew were so helpful and friendly. One of the maintenance guys even recommended a super local pizzeria and printed out directions to it. The room was immaculate which is always a main concern of mine. We were very comfortable for a family of 5 - 3 adults and 2 children. […] The HIE was no more than 20 minutes away from all the local attractions. They are also close to many stores and restaurants. The stay was fine - a bit expensive for what it was, but there was a great breakfast buffet included that my kids really enjoyed and had enough healthy options for my wife and I. Not a bad stay!

The room was good with one exception in the bathroom. Hotel was nice. Employees were great. Hot tub was awesome and clean. And the free hot breakfast was fantastic.

I enjoyed my stay here, and if ever in need of visiting the Victor area again, I would choose this hotel. The hotel and room was clean and inviting. Good breakfast items provided.

Good hotel with very good breakfast. Very helpful reception staff. The swimming pool was the highlight for the kids. Good chain restaurants, mall, movies are 5 minutes away. The hotel is 20 minutes away from Canandaigua so we were able to enjoy the lake without a lot of travel. Try the food court at Wegmans in Canandaigua for a good meal. The room was clean, light, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had up-to-date features with a large shower. Overall, the temperature control in the room could have been better -- the AC seemed to shut off at times, however that was easily remedied.
