The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful, the hotel shuttle efficient. We stayed at this hotel before and will use it again. Recommended for anybody using Calgary International Airport.

beds need more covers. the top cover is very lite and not up to the cold Alberta nights in my mind

The hotel and staff were very nice. Hard to find. The heating/AC system was very noisy and blew right on the bed, hard to sleep.

comfy good condition beds, nice size room (2 queen) and breakfast included. Nicely appointed for a one night or a couple night stay. Quiet hotel. Not high end but above average for an 'average' hotel. I will seek this hotel out again.

My stay was great! Wasn't initially happy about being put in a room close the elevators, I spoke to the front desk immediately and I was put into another down the hall. I am completely satisfied and would highly recommend this hotel to any of my friends or family.

The front desk personal were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. I was only there for 1 night but everthing was very pleasant. I am quite satisfied with my choice to stay there.

I like the hotel and it was clean but could not sleep at all because I was on the 3rd floor and somebody on top was walking around until 2 am and it was really noisy and then the worst part is the air conditioning, very loud and can't sleep with it on, gotta do something about that noise.

I asked for a hotel that gave park and stay and it was agreed that I would have the week of free parking. when I got there the attendant at the desk told me that it would be $7.00 a day to park there. Where I presented my paperwork from Hotels.com, they honored my paperwork, but would not have otherwise. The staff was very pleasant. The hotel was convenient to the airport. Breakfast was as expected. The courtesy van service was very convenient.

We travelled with 2 young sons and were caught unawares as nowhere family friendly for dinner nearby. The driver of the shuttle bus was quick to offer to take my husband and the boys to a takeaway for dinner which for us was above and beyond the call of duty and we were so grateful. The Holiday Inn Express Hotels continue to be a bargin for the business traveler, nice new hotels with up to date rooms, bedding and furnishings. This hotel trought no fault of it's own has been cut off from the Calgary Airport due to a construction project which will last for the next couple of years. also when you stay here there you must be perpaired […] to drive to all resturants etc. Not their fault it's just that you are out there with nothing close at hand. The hotel in this case was new, clean and conveniently located. I booked my stay in advance and paid thru Expedia. I arrived at the hotel very late in the evening after travel and visiting clients. I had left my wallet along with my credit card accidently with one of my clients in my tool case. The staff at this Holiday Inn Express Calgary REFUSED to […] provide me a room even though the room had been paid in advance! I was not impressed at all!!! I felt the decision of the management was a VERY poor one. After calling home to get my wife to supply me a differant visa number, the staff was not cooporative in accepting this by phone (nearly 11 pm mountain time by now). Bottom line; room was paid in advance. There was NO REASON to refuse the room to me! I frequent the HI EXPRESS chain, as does my entire department. I will think very hard about this incident before I continue to use this chain again. Les mer

Everything was perfect - we checked in quick, the room was big & clean, it was close the airport, etc. HOWEVER, we didn't received our wakeup call AND the copy of the intructions to get to the Airport was WRONG (one of the streets were closed for construction). The hotel was of a good standard. We used the pool which was good and the Gymn facilities and had it to ourself at 07:00 on Sunday morning. Jet lag! Breakfast was very good and served from 06:30 again good for jet lag. The neighbourhood is somewhat quiet. There is a restaurant in the Hotel next door which was good although not one in this hotel.

A very good hotel on a very good price! A little bit far away from downtown, might be inconvenient for those who is not driving. They have an individual a/c in every room, at night it kept turning on/off every 10 minutes, which is very noisy. We changed a room the for the second night, it's a little better, but the a/c was working on the same way. I had to take flight early next day. The hotel is about 15-20 mins from airport. I could sleep much more than staying in downtown area. The hotel is clean & Clark are very friendly & nice.

The bottom sheet of my bed appeared to have body fluid stains on it. There was not enough staff available to bring a clean sheet, so I went down to the desk and got a clean sheet and changed the bed myself. The mattress was saggy on the lamp side; why don't chain motels rotate their mattresses? This Hotel is one of the best Hotels I have stayed at!! The Staff are all helpful and friendly. The Area of the Hotel is quiet and close to shopping and restauraunts - short drive away. Great room in safe light industrial area near airport. Quick access to most of city via McKnight. Complimentary hot/cold breakfast very good. (hot part is scrambled eggs, bacon & biscuits). Surprisingly fast waterslide. Would definitely stay there again.

needed 1 night on return from overseas flight. We were very jetlagged next morning, so the 6:30am breakfast was great!! The pancake machine was a hit with the kids. Also the fact that the pool and slide were open really early was great, we used it at 7:30am, perfect. Very comfortable beds too. Free airport shuttle also a bonus. We could not have been more pleased with the Holiday Inn Express Calgary Airport. The location was within a short drive of downtown Calgary and very convenient to Canada 1 to get to Banff and Lake Louise. The direct route from the Hotel to the airport in Calgary has been PERMANENTLY CLOSED. A lot of construction going on in the area. The alternative route to the airport takes you through a lot of traffic and increased time. No one mentioned this when reserving the room at Hotels.com.

WE have stayed in this hotel two previous times so this trip makes three. We continue to come back because the hotel is clean, convient and the staff we encountered once again were excellent , they always seem to make our stay a little more personal. Also, the breakfast is the best, there was nothing more we could have wished for.

Check out clerk was rude and unprofessional to the core. Nothing bad to report about the hotel but the clerk's attitude changed everything and I will not stay at this hotel again or recommend this hotel to anyone.
