"Holiday Inn North Davis Hwy - Great hotel!"
Very clean and very comfortable feel to it. A little difficult to get to but not that bad. Was a little bit of a trek to get to the beach but it was during spring break so it was to be expected. Overall great hotel! I would stay there again!
"Spring Break"
My youngest child became very ill once we arrived at the hotel. As a result we were unable to go out as planned. The room was very comfy. It turned out to be a not so bad even though we were stuck in our room

The facility is great, at first look the location is also, but getting in and out of the parking lot can be a nightmare. 6 lanes of divided highway by an on ramp of I-10 and a large crew of panhandlers/ homeless people around all day and night is unsettling.

"Dirty, dated, room"
They need to learn how to vacume in the corners and get the dead bugs and cobwebs. Had to diagnose why my lights were not working when I figured out the lamps were unplugged. No breakfast unless you want to pay ten bucks and eat in their restauraunt.

"Nice place to rest up"
This Holiday Inn is what I expect from Holiday Inn. Easy check in with a professional, clean hotel and clean rooms with comfy beds and pillows. They had a fridge in the room but it needed a microwave,, we just used the one in the little hotel store and they were finw with that. Great place to get a good nights sleep.

"Holiday Inn Pensacola"
I booked this hotel in hopes of getting a roomy room for me and my 2 friends. Ok, I understand the hotel was fully booked, but then again they knew we were a party of 3. They wanted an extra $10 for the roll-away bed and then having a hard time getting the bed in position since the room was to small. Musical bed for an hour. Next morning finding out […] the breakfast was only included for 2 of us. Again they knew we were party of 3 and really should not expect an extra 8.99 when I already paid enough for the room. Long story short, if you have to be in the area from this hotel, make sure you don't overpay. It is very clean. I'm not returning to this place. Les mer

The hotel looked new and clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It was right off the freeway and very convenient. It is far from downtown (around 20 min drive), so aside that it was perfect!

"Excellent Find!"
Great hotel at a great price. Located close to many things. This hotel is a diamond in the ruff. many surrounding hotels don't even compare to this one. I will def stay again!

Very nice, clean, and new facility. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was free of any funky smells and was nicely furnished. The king size bed was very comfortable. Room also had a great walk in shower.

The only way in and out of this hotel is via the on-ramp to Highway 10 West. It is possible to drive over the solid white line and merge with traffic on North Davis Hwy, a blvd, so turn right to exit only. If UWF is the destination, then plan on passing the hotel again after driving 2-3 blocks south and making a u-turn. The first room we were given […] had a really bad organic smell to it. We tried to ignore it the first night as we arrived late, thinking maybe the maid will fix it for the next night. She didn't. The room smelled actually worse when we returned again the next evening. The hotel staff did quickly and courteously accommodate us with another room across the hall when we complained. They too acknowledged the room smelled bad, and seemed to have known about it before. After that, the stay was pleasant, except for the challenging driving in and out into a busy street via a highway on-ramp. The beds seemed uncomfortable, maybe because the room heater thermostat kept it a toasty 77F even when set to 65F. There are no windows to open. The kind Maintenance gentleman suggested the only fresh air is via the air conditioning after it cools and switches to fan only. Suggestion: There is a through-road behind the hotel parking lot, fenced-off to guests. The hotel should make another exit onto the road behind the parking lot. It would be a safer and more legal access point for the hotel. I will not be staying at this hotel again. We switched to Hampton Inns on the way back to Canada. Les mer

Everything was as advertised, no surprises. Friendly staff, good breakfast. Nice break in our trip to the Gator Bowl.

conveniently located just off i-10 in pensacola, the Holiday Inn on Davis Highway is a newer motel in very good condition. High marks. The only nit is that they've got a real coffee shop/restaurant (though not many customers the morning we were there), so there's no complimentary breakfast offering.

"Comfort at its best"
I had just driven 16 hrs and was tired to the bone not to mention I was traveling with children who were very cranky by the time we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful despite the fact that they were shorthanded. The room was so comfortable I wanted to stay longer just for the heck of it. We ordered room service and the food was good. […] Kids ate, showered and were knocked out in less than an hour and I slept better than I've had in my own home. I was concerned at first about the price of the room but it was definitely worth it and I will definitely stay again! Les mer

The overall appearance of this hotel was very nice and clean looking. My room appeared clean until I went into the bathroom and noticed hair in the tub which makes me wonder if it was thoroughly cleaned after it's last guest. The bed was very comfortable and the room looked clean.

We booked this hotel the night before our stay as we were driving from Houston to Jacksonville with our three-year old and needed to split up the drive. I am very picky when it comes to the hotels we stay at, and this place looked great in the pictures, and the reviews were good. It was a different story when we arrived. There was construction going […] on in the entry and lobby. There was no bathtub to bathe our son (only a stand-up shower). The sliding shower doors were off the track and had to be forcefully jiggled open. There was someone else's hair on the shower walls. We ordered room service as we arrived late and needed to feed our son some dinner, and were called approximately 15 minutes after we ordered and told that we needed to change our order as the restaurant was out of pizza. When our food arrived, it was not as described by the person taking the order, and disgusting. The AC unit did not work properly and we were hot all night. My feet were black after walking barefoot on the carpet. My husband went downstairs the next morning around 7:00 am to have a cup of coffee, and it was cold. It should be noted that this Holiday Inn is not run by Holiday Inn, but a separate management company altogether. We were very disappointed because the pictures looked amazing, and other reviewers raved about the cleanliness. Had I known then what I know now, we would have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express a few exits up. Les mer

"The Rebranding is AWESOME!!!"
I really was impressed by this hotel. I stayed only one night one our way to Disney World and I was quite impressed. Everything was new a fresh due to Holiday Inn's million dollar rebranding. the bed was a tempurpedic mattress. It almost made me not want to leave. It was right off the interstate so it was easy to find. The staff was great. The furnishings […] were top notch and the bathroom was clean with no discolorations. Les mer

Stayed just one night - room was clean & bed was comfy. Ate at the restuarant - it was ok but a bit pricey for the selection. I would stay here again but will try others in the area to compare on pricing.

The hotel was clean and modern. Location was close to the airport and college. One complaint:the bed frame was unstable making one feel their head was lower than body. Matress, though, was very good. I feel if they offered a complimentary breakfast, that would increase business dramatically.

Located at busy interstate exchange but you'd never know it - the room was about the quietest I've ever had! New, clean, very comforatble bed and very helpful front desk people. Breakfast was fine too. Just a little tricky getting into off of Davis Hwy if northbound.

"Nice hotel made our stay enjoyable"
We arrived late in the day and were greeted warmly. The check-in went quickly and efficiently. Our room was clean and it was easy to quickly unwind adn relax from our travels. The amenities were appropriate for this price of a room and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We'll definitely consider this hotel for future stays in the area.

"Once I got past the hairs in the bathroom..."
After I got over initially finding hairs in the bathroom, the remainder of the hotel stay was great. After that the room was kept very clean, the beds were way comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful and I would recommend this hotel to others needs to stay in the Pensacola area. The beach is about 20 minutes away and there are very good restaurants […] in the area within a 10-20 minute drive. I would stay here again. Les mer

This hotel looked just as it did in the pictures i found on this site. The hotel was very nice. Rooms are very comfortable and updated. Nice television, large bathroom, refrigerator, and lots of other small things that you appreciate from a hotel. I will certainly visit this hotel again.
