Oppholdet var bra, ble møtt i døren av personalet, fikk hjelp med koffert opp til rommet. Frokost var veldig bra og de var serviceinnstilt. Fine rom og gode senger. Bra størrelse på badet var det også.

Hadde et kjempebra opphold på Grand Hotel Cavour. Sentralt og fint. God service, bra renhold på rommet. God frokost i hyggelig frokostsal. Synd at været ikke tillot at vi kunne spise frokost på den flotte takterassen. Vi fikk en ettermiddag der oppe med et glass god vin - det var helt fantastisk! Dette hotellet kan jeg gjerne anbefale til andre.

"Sentralt med god service"
Vi kom tidlig og ble sjekket inn et par timer tidligere av et veldig hyggelig personell. Helt grei standard og frokost et hakk over gjennomssnittlig italiensk hotellfrokost. Kort avstand til det meste. Bare hyggelige ting å si om dette hotellet.
"NOT advertised truthfully"
When we booked this hotel, it said there was wifi, a safe in the room and a fridge. NO, no and no! There was NO wifi. There was NO safe. And there was a fridge, but because the electricity was turned off when you left the room, the fridge turned off too so there was no way to keep anything fresh. Breakfast was good though.

This is a great hotel for staying in Florence. It has a very small elevator that you can use to send up your bags which is nice and the hotel is decorated in a more modern updated style than others i've stayed at in Italy which is nice. Good location, 10 minutes from tain station, 1o minutes from Duomo! a lots of restaurants and and supermarkets close by! including the food market, with a lof of options for food and fresh fruit. good breakfast included!

"Do not stay here!"
This hotel was a disaster. It's difficult to find and the "parking" that they have isn't actually very close to the hotel. After finally getting parked, getting buzzed in and our room key, we walked in to find a room that looked nothing like the pictures on hotels.com website. The room was definitely outdated and small. The bathroom wasn't big enough […] for two people to be in it at the same time. The linens on the bed were not clean. Upon pulling down the comforter, we discovered very obvious urine stains. There was a small closet in the room which had a random door in it. It looked like this particular room had been used for storage or something. We ended up not even staying here for the night because of the filthy linens. I would never suggest booking at this hotel! Les mer
"Close to train station and sights"
Completely adequate place to stay. The price to quality ratio was good. Good breakfast selection (relatively speaking). Location was good - 5 minute walk to the train station, 1.5 blocks to the San Larenzo market, 7-10 minute walk to both the David and Duomo. I thought the bathroom was a little odd - you could literally shower while sitting on the […] toilet. There was a problem with the lock on our room which was a little annoying. They did offer to change our rooms. If this is your first time to Florence, my suggestion would be to avoid the city!!! Although it's pretty, there's lots to see, blah, blah, blah - The coutryside around the city is where its at. We took a wine tour and wished we would have stayed in the hills of tuscany. Les mer

The convenience of the location was second to none - so close to the station and the main sights and sites of the city. "Kursaal was a good vib"
The staff were friendly and courteous, helped us orient ourselves to the surroundings, and held our bags for an evening flight. The rooms was clean and loved the eco friendly orientation. Would stay there again next time around.

"Maybe 300m from the main railway station"
We were delighted with this hotel. Lovely staff, all very welcoming and cheerful and helpful. It has the feel of a family-owned/run hotel. They want you to be happy. It's small and old. The rooms are old and tastefully-decorated. We were lucky getting a room at the back overlooking quiet back yards: you could have been in a country village. And yet […] you're only 300m from the railway station, maybe 350 or 400m to the Duoma, and only yards from relatively-inexpensive restaurants, bars, and quite a big (for Florence) park. Very nice, friendly atmosphere, Breakfast good. Organized and earth friendly. The key turns off the lights while you are away. Location great for the trains and right down the street from the market!

Hotel was very close to the Firenze-SMN and was in walking distance to the market and other major sites. The cost of the hotel was very reasonable, however, the room was small and bed was not very comfortable. You are paying for location for this hotel, but I do highly recommend it!

Very friendly staff, always willing to assist. Room was cosy for 4 people, but very clean and tidy. Bathroom facilities were good. Breakfast was nice with a good variety on offer. Hotel was within short walking distance of good markets and excellent places to eat. Also very close to a laundromat which is great for travellers.

"Perfect location."
The hotel is in a perfect location. But I would not recommend the rest. The shower door fell off when we opened the door. The beds were very uncomfortable. Stiff as a board and so uncomfortable. It wasnt a firm bed just mattresses that were old and needed to be replaced. The cleaning staff swept everything under the beds. All the hair and other stuff […] was under the bed that moves. They started cleaning very early around 8:30am and we heard talking for about 30 minutes and looked out and it was them talking and sitting in the halls. We were on a 30 day vacation of europe and this was 1 of 2 hotels we would not recommend out of 9. Les mer

"Great location"
If you want something near the train station and walking distance to the major sites this hotel is fine. Reception area was on the 3rd floor and they keep the doors open downstairs which left us a little uneasy. Room was larger then expected and clean, although older. Breakfast was nothing much to mention and there weren't much staff around to replenish […] it. Staff was very helpful and nice. We arrived by train from Rome. The hotel is only 5 or 10 minutes walk from the main terminal which was very nice. The manager is the owner, so he took a great deal of care in keeping the place clean and comfortable. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom shower was really small, but no big deal to us. Hotel was very simple but we were happy with this. Staff were friendly enough although you pretty much come and go as you please without any fuss. Convenient location. Breakfast bar was the same everyday. We got tired of the same food. Bad options for juice. Elevator is too small..2 people with 1 bag each cant fit properly. Good neighborhood, close to many grocery/convenient stores.

Having arrived to this hotel from an awful experience in Rome, it was great to be welcomed by really friendly staff, who were very helpful in lots of ways during our stay. "Great room for the money"
The hotel is very close to the trainstation but you can't hear the trains. Just around the corner is the Duomo and you can walk from the hotel to anything you wish to see in Florence. This hotel is in an old building, but the rooms look like they were recently renovated. The bathroom was nice and clean and featured a hairdryer and dispensers of cheap (better-than-nothing) shampoo and body wash in the shower. The A/C worked well and allowed to keep the window closed in order to avoid hearing the somewhat loud traffic from the busy […] street outside. Breakfast was nice, but you have to remember that the Italian do not like the so-called English breakfast. Basically you get bread, croissants, jam, cereal, juices, coffee, tea, yogurt, but definitely no eggs, cold cuts, cheese, fruit, sausages and stuff like that. "Best A/C in Italy"
We recently took a five day tour all over Italy and by far this was the best hotel we stayed in. It was very convenient to everything and a short walk from the train station(10min). The A/C in the rooms was the best surprise of our trip and the hotel staff was five star.

This hotel was very convenient to the train station but a bit of a walk to some other sights: maybe 10 minutes to the Duomo and around 15-20 to the Uffizi. My husband and I didn't mind this one bit though, it gave us a great chance to see the city! The room itself was a good size and pretty clean. The bed was a bit hard and the pillows were flat, but […] it didn't stop us from getting a good night's sleep both nights we were there. Hotel is in a very noisy street, so sleeping with the window open is impossible. Breakfast is decent. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Size of the room is good, however the bathroom is too small, you take a shower on top of the toilet. In contrary to the star rating at hotels.com it is only 3 stars.

"Une auberge de jeunesse 3*"
Comme toujours en Italie, il faut se méfier des étoiles ! L'hotel Kursaal Ausonia ne fait pas exception. Sur le papier il mérite ses 3*: la chambre possède une salle de bain avec douche et toilettes, un climatiseur, un frigo de minibar, une TV avec chaines internationales; le sol, les draps et les serviettes sont propres. Les problèmes commencent lorsque […] c'est votre chambre: - la salle de bain: la douche consiste en un pommeau de douche placé au dessus de la cuvette des toilettes !!! - bien que très propres, tous les équipements sont en très mauvais état: canalisations rouillées dans la salle de bain, papier peints qui se décollent, meubles abimés; - au prétexte d'un label eco-friendly, la chambre est équipée de prises raccordées à un coupe circuit général lorsque l'on quitte la chambre; pas pratique pour recharger son téléphone ou son ordinateur; en outre certains équipements comme le frigo sont équipés de prises spéciales fonctionnant en permanence; résultat impossible de brancher la lampe du bureau !!! - la TV comprend une quinzaine de chaines italiennes, 2 chaines allemandes et eurosport; même pas CNN ou BBC World !! C'est bien international mais c'est bigrement limité. Au final tout ça laisse une impression très mitigée: - côté points positifs: une propreté impeccable et un hôtel très bien situé - côté points négatifs: la douche, l'état général de la chambre, l'inexistence des services de l'hôtel. Au final cet hôtel peut représenter une solution relativement bon marché pour un hébergement touristique mais ça n'est ni un endroit pour un week end romantique, ni pour un séjour d'affaires. Les mer

Très bien situé - chambre silencieuse - accueil parfait et personalisé - Literie de 1.60 très agréable - Seul regrets le coin toilettes est un peu confiné et il n'y a pas de parking.

Ontbijtaccommodatie niet voldoende voor de aanwezige gasten. Eerste dag 15 minuten gewacht voor we een plaatsje konden bemachtigen. Tweede dag besloten we iets later te gaan. Dat werkte: plaats genoeg, maar kaas, ham e.d. was toen helaas helemaal op. Verder prima hotel voor dat geld

Bra läge, bra pris och trevlig personal. Frukosten är som på många andra ställen undermålig i svenska mått. Omöjligt att få en nyttig frukost. Tror vi fick ett rum där det har rökts också så det luktade lite unket. Med tanke på pris och läge (centralt knapt 10 min gång från centralstationen) kan jag ändå rekomendera detta hotell!

Hotellet ligger inom bekvämt gångavstånd från stationen dit också flygbussarna går. En enda miss - vårt rum hade inte värdbox men receptionen förvarade våra värden och allt var helt OK när vi kvitterade ut det. Vi köpte till en personlig guidning på Ufficierpatataset. 2 timmar mycket bra guidning på riktigt god engelska.

Hotellet var som sådan helt ok, men der var en frygtelig lugt på vores værelse som burde have været opdaget af personalet. Der lugtede indelukket, og det føltes simpelthen som om man blev syg af at sove der. Vi forsøgte at lufte ud, men ligeså snart vinduerne blev lukket, var lugten tilbage. Vi gjorde først opmærksom på det den sidste dag, efter at […] have prøvet at få bugt med problemet selv, men personalet gjorde ikke tegn til at rykke os, eller til at løse problemet. Internettet var dyrt - € 3 for 1 time - og det virkede ikke. Dog fik vi vores penge tilbage så det var helt fair. Badekabinen var ualmindeligt lille, så er man bare en smule over 50 kg, så kan det godt blive et reelt problem! Ellers fint badeværelse. Beliggenheden var super. I gåafstand til alt, og lige rundt om hjørnet fra det lokale marked. Les mer

Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral zu den wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten, um die Ecke ist der große Markt wo es Lebensmittel und Lederwaren aller Art gibt. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse ausgezeichnet. Preis / Leistung = mehr als perfekt!

"leuk hotel in de wijk san lorenzo"
Dit sfeervolle hotel ligt vlakbij de markt van san lorenzo. Erg gezellige straat en dichtbij alle andere bezienswaardigheden. Ontbijt was ok alleen erg weinig zitplaatsen waardoor het 's morgens hopen was op een plekje om te kunnen ontbijten. Het zal zeker ook te maken hebben gehad met het feit dat 't het paasweekend was...
