Comfort Inn Near Hollywood Walk of Fame - Hollywood

Jeg og 3 andre venniner dro til Los angeles for 8-9 dager, vi er kjempe fornøyde med hotellet og hvor den ligger.. veldig sentralt, midt i Hollywood... det er bare å gå 4 min, eller mindre, så er du oppe ved hollywood walk of fame. Hvis man skal dra til forskjellige steder som venice beach, santa monica pier osv.. så er det greit å leie bil, selvom […] det er sentralt. Bussene i Los angeles kjører ikke ofte, derfor er det greit med bil :) Les mer

Et helt enkelt hotell, men veldig rent! Greie rom med passe størrelse, kan ikke klage mtp hva man betaler for å bo der. De i resepsjonen er veldig hjelpsomme og serviceinnstillt.

Hotellet ser ganske shabby på utsiden, og er ikke stort, men rommet vi fikk var nyoppusset med den komforten vi forventet. Det eneste som er litt å utsette på oppussingen er at de som har gjort det har glemt noen små basis ting. Det er for eksempel ingen plass å henge opp brukte håndklær på badet. Frokosten som de inkluderer er heller begrenset, og […] vi endte opp med å spise den kun en av dagene. Lokasjonen er grei, med gåavstand til Kodak Chinese Theatre og alle stjernene i fortauet. Vi var der da de hadde premiere på filmen "Inception", og ble fortalt at Red Carpet events skjer månedlig, så her er det mulighet for å se stjernene fra filmene som de kjører red carpet event. Pass bare på å stille deg opp tidlig på dagen på riktig plass, for ellers så får du sett heller lite. Det finnes flere turer som starter fra Kodak Chinese Theatre. Vi var på en star tour, som var festelig, der vi kjørte forbi flere av kjendisenes sine hjem. Hvis vi skulle valgt igjen, så hadde vi valgt å bo på Santa Monika. Dette fordi at avstandene gjerne uansett er så store, at du uansett ender opp med å kjøre et stykke, og Santa Monika virket kjempetrivelig med mange koselige kafeer. Les mer

We picked this motel based on its location and price. It is just a short walk to Hollywood Blvd and eating places. The front desk and other hotel staff are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was nice, the rooms were clean and free wifi was good. However, the road noise is loud and doesn't really drop off. I’m glad that we were there for just two […] nights. Les mer

The view out of my window was the most dismal you might imagine for a Comfort Inn. It looked like a slum lot, complete with nasty, worn out couch. Litter scattered everywhere in this vacant lot right next to the hotel! Vagrants hang out there at night making this hotel not the safest in the world, especially for a single pedestrian.

We are a family of 7 (4 adults and 3 children) and was a little too small for us. Building is okay, would do good to renovate and brighten up the place. Lift would look bigger if had a mirror. The actual rooms smelt like smoke and damp, not pleasant but clean. It has a window so when opened it did get rid of the smell. Although we did find a bug on […] bed 2 out of the 5 nights we stayed. Staff are very friendly, specially the cook/handyman/maintenance guy (i think his name is Thomas), attended to my blocked toilet immediately. The ladies cleaned the room nicely everyday, that was pleasant. Thomas was thoughful and informative on places to visit and how to get there efficiently and cost effective. The young guy attended to my concern immediately when I rang him middle of night to inform of two girls being rowdy a couple of rooms down from us. it was a peaceful night thereafter. Les mer

Amazing hotel, beautiful inside and larger rooms then most hotels in the area. Located next to Starbucks, burger king, Wendy's.. tons of eateries and great shopping. Right next to metro bus, and metro rail. We will be returning for our next stay!

I love this place. The staff at the front desk is as nice as any I've ever ran across. The room is VERY clean and the free hot breakfast is nice. Its a short walk to the Hollywood Walk of Fame and all the sights that Hollywood Blvd has to offer. You'd think in Los Angeles, people would be rude and reluctant to be helpful. This place is convenient but not in the best neighborhood and was outdated and not clean.

Hotel staff were very helpful. They tried to accommodate all of our needs and book local tours and shuttle for us. Breakfast was adequate. The room was very good with the exception of rattly air condition and cold shower which they promised to have it fixed.

The rooms had been remodeled, new furniture, nice and clean, great breakfast. Management was so great, very accommodating. Highly recommend it!

The hotel was within a 5 minute walk of Hollywood Blvd and located on Sunset Strip near the In and Out burger restaurant. Rooms are very clean and bed and pullows very comfortable. Had a very good nights sleep each night despite being located on a main drag. we asked for a room at back of hotel to be away from main road. Breakfast was helpful although […] not enough seating for all the guests so sometimes had to take back to room. Management was helpful. The only problem we had was that the remote for tv didn't work but that didn't bother us one bit. Will be staying there again for sure! Les mer

The concierge, Taha, was the most accommodating at check-in at this hotel. He makes this hotel very easy to recommend to others. Very comfortable and in a very convienient location. The ample parking made arrival and unpacking easy. We will visit again!

We choose this hotel due to the location near the Walk of Fame. You can walk in less than 5 minutes to the center of the Walk of Fame (the famous Grauman's Chinese Theatre). The neighborhood is quite alright, and you can walk outside in the evening. The service in the hotel is very good. The breakfast is included and is very good as well. The only downside […] was the fallow field next to the hotel. When we stayed at the hotel a couple of hikers stayed on a mattress on that field. You will probably be better off asking for a room facing the parking lot. Les mer

It is an older hotel, but it is kept up very nice. The manager is very friendly and helpful. He called a bus to pick us up for a 6 hr. tour of LA. He gave us a banana and also to the driver. We enjoyed our city tour very much. The bus brought us back to our hotel. Hotel was rather run down from the outside. It has a very small lobby which adds as a place for breakfast as well. The front desk manager was nice and kind. It has a really small parking lot with tight parking spaces. Trucks and big sedans might have trouble squeezing into the lots. The interior of the room was small but clean. When we first arrived the check in was not so impressive. Once in the room WOW! Because of being on Sunset Strip I was concerned about noise. Staff was awsome! put me in a room at the back. White shutters and palm trees overlooking the pool. Outside needs work but you could pay double or three times for the same room in this area of LA. Walk to so many […] places. We have stayed here three times. They remodeled and expanded their lobby/ breakfast area so it is much better. The rooms are small, but clean, parking is free and everything is within walking distance for Hollywood attractions

The staff at the hotel were very friendly. The breakfast was great. We were a little disappointed in the condition of our room. The fridge was very loud. The light switch/plug in socket by the door was hanging out of the wall a little bit. The paint was chipping of on the walls. The pool was not very inviting but we didn't have time to use it anyways. […] The location to Hollywood Blvd was great and an easy drive to Universal Studios. The price was right. Les mer

The ownership and employees of this location were wonderful. They made our stay enjoyable.

Its walking distance from Hollywood walk of fame. There is a lot of shopping areas and food suggestions. I liked that's they were a smoke free enviornment, so I didn't smell like smoke like standard hotels. Their breakfast consisted of cold and hot foods which was a great start to our morning. It was a fairly comfortable 2-night stay with a few small problems. We were on the 2nd floor and the bathroom leaked a bit whenever the folks in room upstairs used their shower. It wasn't anything too bad but I reported this at the end of our stay and the front office seemed keen to fix it. And when you check-in, it is their policy to make a paper copy […] of your credit card and driver's license. It seemed a little odd that they're still doing this in 2012. This hotel was very good and clean, and also had a free continental breakfast. Includes 1 free parking per room. The surrounding area is quite busy, but has some fast food places nearby. It's very close to hollywood blvd (1/2 mile) and just about a 10 min drive to Universal Studios. Bottom line, if you need a clean place to stay that's in a good location, […] this is a great selection and no extra fee for parking and includes a continental breakfast too. Definitely recommended! I would definitelly stay here again! It's Great for the price...The room is very clean with a very comfortable bed with 4 pillows....my 18 year old daughter stayed here for 4 nights....close to all of Hollywood Attractions....i was able to stay on the ground level which was great as i had recently broke my foot...i parked my car right out front of my […] door. Starbucks right next door. Their Breakfast was very good and used by a lot of people....eggs, sausage, waffles, coffee, juice, etc....all free.....one day i went across the street at ihop for breakfast for 2 of us and paid 33 dollars....that was a mistake...OVERALL LOVED OUR STAY!!! It was a journey. But possibly by no fault of the hotel. -Manager was friendly/attentive/accommodating -bed was sufficiently comfy -location was excellent (short walk to main part of Hollywood Blvd, across the street from Ross, 24 hr. subway, vietnamese restaurant, 7/11, and other varied restaurants) -decent basic breakfast -they allegedly offer free […] toiletry items if you forgot yours (though I didn't put this to the test) only bad things about room/hotel: -could hear some sounds from room above our 1st floor room (no big deal) -apparently carpet was dirty, left bare feet with black residue I initially was mistakenly booked for two reservations on the same night by the hotels dot com website. I called to clear it up, and they said they successfully cancelled one reservation and kept the other, which was reflected as such on my account online. When I got to this hotel, they said I didn't have a reservation. The manager checked cancelled reservations and found both of mine had been cancelled. So I called the website to fix it, put on hold, hung up on. I called back, and they put in a new reservation with the website's own account. So I ended up waiting in the lobby for what was probably 30-45 minutes, trying to sort it out. Not sure if this was a mistake by the hotels dot com website or by the hotel itself, but made it a bit of an effort to get a room I thought I already had. The manager was, however, very helpful is allowing us to check in before the new reservation was fully processed on the computer. Barring issues like this (which may just be the hotels dot com server acting up, not the hotel itself), I would most likely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, close place to stay while exploring the area. Although the hotel is nothing fancy, it was great for the price and you can't beat the location if you're looking to be close to the Hollywood attractions. Rooms are small but updated as best as could be expected. Free breakfast was very good and plentiful. The Hotel is a good place to stay and you can walk from there to the walk of fame. Breakfast and Wifi are included and quite ok.

Very clean hotel and right in the middle of the best parts of Hollywood. Close enough to the drag without being around too many tourists and walking distance to all shops and busstops. Short trip to the Sunset strip and short walk to Hollywood Blvd. The hotel is a bit dated but has parking and great service. If renting a car, ask the owner/manager guy […] at the desk and he can sort out a good deal and have them pick up the car from the hotel when done.
