Kjempebra hotell med utrolig hyggelige ansatte. Følte oss veldig velkommen der og hotellet hadde de fleste fasiliteter, selv om treningsrommet kunne vært litt mer utstyrt. Men ANBEFALES på det sterkeste

Compared to some of the other hotels we were looking at, and then saw roaming around the city, my wife and I made a great choice with this Holiday Inn for our romantic getaway last weekend. Being two senior citizens, we came to New York to enjoy the Broadway shows and Museums for a four day get away. We had a wonderful time and liked being in the Holiday Inn due to several reasons: 1- The size being smaller than most hotels was appealing. 2- The doorman, Carlos, was a great help in getting us taxi's. 3- The ladies at the desk were a great […] help in giving us directions to various places. 4- Having a restuarant was a nice plus and the food was good, waitress's very pleasant. Several things that did limit our budget was the location. We had to take a cab most places. In the future we will learn how to use the subway system more effectively. One thing that I might mention is that we found that an extra blanket was necessary and most days the wash clothes were not replaced. Also there needs to be more hangers in the closets. Overall it was a great trip for us and we look forward to coming back again next year, Lord willing. Les mer

Extremely comfortable bed, extremely small room & bath, freindly helpful staff, convenient location, easy walk to subway, great place to stay if you don't plan on spending much time in the room. Seemed fairly high priced, but guess that's New York.

Stayed in many hotels in NYC. This one was the most comfortable and convenient. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The beds are very comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.

We were put on the 9th floor next to the housekeeping dept. The housekeepers congregate in the area and talk very loudly to each other. I feel that when using hotels.com that we are placed in the less desirable room locations.

Nice place. Superb value for price. Very clean. Friendly staff. Down side, walls are paper thin. In the morning the other guests were being noisy. I was hoping to catch up on my sleep on Saturday morning .... Oh well. The restaurant in the Hotel is excellent. They went out of their way to earn your biz and the food was outstanding. I was in NYC to see a broadway show, due to flight delays i arrived at the hotel very close to show time. I told the guy working the front desk, Matthew i think his was and he offered to put my bag in my room and the other guy there got a taxi for me. Aside from the slow and tedious elevators (and this should not be understated because they are slow enough, constantly canceling floors, to impact your departure plans) the hotel stay was extremely pleasant.

The room very very small! We had a room with the double beds, and my feet were hanging off the end of the bed - I'm only 5 foot tall! Even the hall space was tight. There is no service elevator, and the elevators took forever. There was no ice machine on our floor. Otherwise, we liked the location of the hotel, and it was very clean. This hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was small for four people, but we made it work for a couple of nights. It was a good location -- within walking distance to Union Square and more.

I had a spectacular experience here. I stayed at three hotels in Manhattan over eleven days. This was the best. Chelsea is amazing. The subways are all around and the neighborhood feels authentically New York City, unlike Midtown. I recommend this hotel highly. Even the restaurant and bar are cool, in a pinch. I've stayed at this establishment in the past and have found the front-desk staff to be polite and friendly. The hotel is extremely busy and the common areas are beginning to show a bit of wear and tear from the constant traffic. During this stay, my request for a non-smoking room with a king-sized bed could not be met, but I was offered the choice […] of either a smoking room with that size bed, or a non-smoking room with two double beds. I chose the latter and, while the room was clean, there was a bit of a musty smell in the bathroom. Also, the space was really inadequate for two beds and any, additional furniture. When I opened the door, it barely cleared one of the beds and then hit the luggage bench that was against the wall. Additionally, I had to walk sideways to get into the room. Once settled in, I found the bed to be quite comfortable and, overall, my stay was a pleasant one. One, important note...the elevators are rather small and move slowly, so allow extra time if you have an appointment!! Les mer

Rooms not serviced daily, bathrooms not cleaned, towels, coffee and cups not refilled, TV broken. Will not return and would not recommend this hotel.

Spent 5 nights at the hotel. The TV was broken 3 of the nights and had to be repaired each night. Bathroom was not cleaned daily, nor were towels and used cups replaced, We travel to NYC regularly and will never return to this hotel.

Overall a great experience with hotel. Seemed clean til found the old underwear under bed. All surfaces and linen were clean. Location to attractions and subway were great and only a few minutes walk to attractions or transportation. Breakfast in resteraunt was disgusting though. Great location but rooms a little small and tight bathroom.

The website was recommended by friend of mine and i liked the service that you guys offered me. The hotel is clean and small, but with good conditions. There was professional people working and full service.

Very friendly staff. Comfortable, well appointed rooms. The Prime Cafe accessible from the lobby was excellent! The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch & dinner, as well as late night fare. The food was exceptional and the service even better.

Going into the City a night or two every other week, I'm trying out different hotels based on the best rates. This Holiday Inn is very nice, the rooms are clean and contemporary in their design, the bathroom well don and very clean. It was just what I want in a lower cost hotel. My recect stay at the Holiday Inn Manhattan/6th St was very comfortable and clean ,and in a GREAT part of town; great for restaurants, shopping, and people watching! I found the rental rate to be VERY affordable for NYC.

I would be a bit hesitant to recommend this hotel if you were going to be staying there for an extended period or time or with a family. The room was small and a bit cramped, especially the bathroom. On the the positive side it looked nice, was clean, and the bed was quite comfortable. I drove into Manhattan for a party and wanted to stay over night. […] It was perfect for this occasion. The coffee and free Internet were a bonus. Would definitely stay here again for a short stay and not hesitate to recommend it for this purpose. A solid value for a hotel in Chelsea. Walking distance to Herald Square, MSG and Penn Station. Near all the Chelsea restaurants, bars and clubs. Being a Holiday Inn ensures it meets their quality standards. Room was a little small, but that was probably due to the king-sized bed in it. No worse than any other NYC hotels. i stayed at this hotel last week Dec 2011, it is definietely not 4 star . I would rate it as 3 star . we ended up with a smoking room as apparently they are the more difficult rooms to sell therefore they are sold through hotels.com or one of the other sites . the room smelt dreadful , even a smoking room can smell and look better than this . the fan […] was very noisy and the heating setting was either hot or cold , there was not an adjustment . i would not recommend it . We arrived at midnight and walked all the way from Grand Central (about 23 blocks) because the walk was exhilarating and the city is beautiful at night! Convenient Chelsea location in walking distance to Macy's and Penn Station. Rooms spotlessly clean and decor very contemporary and fresh although typically smaller New York style. Would definitely stay there again.

The front desk staff were polite. The rooms particularly the bathroom is small but comfortable and moreover clean. A smile greets you every day which is hard to find in NY on some days. Great property and value!!

The Holiday Inn is a quiet, nicely maintained mid-range hotel near Chelsea.
