We took our three grandchildren to Tulare for the Antique Tractor Show in April. The hotel was very nice. They especially enjoyed the buffet breakfast. My one concern was the programs available on tv . The tv guide was not operational, and we continually went from station to station trying to find something that was kid friendly to watch. The hotel was very nice, clean and the manager (I think her name was Ashley?) She was so helpful and nice and let us check in early. The breakfasy was so good too!

Great place and location. Heater in room went off and on all night making it hard to sleep. Difficult to adjust. Other than that, everything was fine.

My family and I stayed here for 2 nights and had a great experience. Beautiful room, nice bathroom, and really comfortable bed and bedding! The next time we are in town this is where we will be staying!

Everything about this location was satisfactory - pleasing, even - with the exception of one thing. Unfortunately, sometimes it's only one that thing that a person remembers and tells friends about. In my case, it was the air conditioner / heater. Although everything about this hotel is clean and modernized, the HVAC for each room is still a wall-mounted […] unit. I have no problem with that. But they've moved the controls to a wall-mounted thermostat and I never did find out how to turn the darn thing off! The fan came on approximately every 13.5 minutes - or however long it takes me to get 98% back to sleep. After a night of approximately 20 thirteen-minute naps, I felt like I wanted to wring someone's neck. So if you're looking for a place to stay before an event for which you need to be fully fired up but not necessarily rested, this is your place. Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the walls were no thinner than in any comparable hotel. Les mer

The Hampton Inn and Suites at Tulare is perfect for a night on your way in or out of Sequoia National Park. Note that it is far from the park (about 1h30) but this hotel is everything you can wish for. Affordable, comfortable, very clean (they even advertise they clean the comforters between every guest - a touch I trully appreciate), free breakfast […] and wi-fi. It is very close to the highway and the front desk was very helpful in giving us directions to the pharmacy and recommend a nearby restaurant that was more than ok. Les mer

Stayed with family members (2 rooms) for 3 nights in August 2012. The primary purpose of the trip was to visit Sequoia & Kings Canyon Nat'l Park, and no room was available inside the Park or close to it. However, staying in the Hampton in Tulare turned out to be a blessing. Good location close to the freeway and with great restaurants nearby (Cool Hand […] Luke's steakhouse is superb and a huge value; Black Bear diner is very good). The hotel itself is in near-pristine condition. Rooms are very well equipped, very comfortable, and well serviced. Breakfast is very good and includes not only regular continental breakfast items, but also low-carb items (eggs, bacon, etc.). Personnel if friendly and helpful. The room rate is a great value. And driving to the Sequoia Nat'l Park entrance takes less than an hour (although I drive fast), a lot less than driving within the huge park. I highly recommend this hotel. Les mer

Nice place, well located, clean enough, good breakfast. I was given a room with a terrible smell but it was promptly fixed but no apologies. Except for the "smelty incident", then the overall experience was fine.

The staff was extremely pleasant, the room was awesome, the bed was so comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. better than Holiday Inn Express. We had heard about your hotels, but never had a chance to stay at one... this was out first time. We will definetly look for one again.

1.minimum one light in the room should be with dimmer 2.light switches should be flat-contemporary, not like in storage room 3.bath tub is not high quality Rooms are very nice spacious, very clean, beds are unusually clean,good pillows,quaiet. Great breakfasts.

My bf and I stayed here on the way home from Sequoia National Park. Booked the room on hotels.com using my smartphone in the car. Very nice hotel! The staff at the front desk were very nice and helpful. The non-smoking king room smelled nice and fresh and was super clean. The decor was beautiful and it was easy to use the free wi-fi. We also enjoyed […] HBO and used one of the many luggage carts to take all of our luggage to our room. In the morning we used our room key to save 10% at Apple Annie's which was very charming and the food was delicious. Will definitely stay here again! Les mer

This hotel had nice clean rooms, comfortable beds, a great breakfast with hot and cold options, and a decent pool. Overall a great experience. We visited Sequoia National Forest which was still quite a drive from here but it was nice to come back to a town that had everything you needed.

The Hampton Inn Tulare is one of the best Hotel we have been. It is clean quiet new and comfortable. It worth many 3+ stars. Only regret was that there was no small refrigerator in the room. But if you want an very good and affordable hotel we strongly recommend it.

This hotel was a great deal. Breakfast was spectacular. A great value and very nice staff. The rooms are very upscale and large with comfortable mattresses and bedding. The bathroom was larger than normal. The pool and hot tub are very nice and convenient. Check in was fine. The room I was staying in was clean, but later about 8:30 I heard water dripping. In the bathroom where the vent was water was leaking from the room above. I was moved to another room on another floor.

great stay. Very convenient off the 99 fwy. Very friendly service. Geat continental breakfast that includes pastries, fruit, eggs, waffles and more. More than I expected. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. I would stay here again.

I expected a wonderful hotel experience and that is why I selected Hampton Inn for the stay for my wife and I. Had a little trouble at first setting up the free Wi-Fi but once I figured it out it worked great.

We stayed at this hotel the Saturday of Easter weekend. About 1:30 a.m. we were awakend by a party in the room next to ours, loud talking and rap music. It continued so we called the Front Desk, nothing was done, and the loud music with expletives went on all night. Two more calls to the Front Desk did nothing. In the morning we saw an ice bucket had […] been used to prop open the side door so anyone could enter the "secure" hotel. The smell of pot smoke was also evident. Many apologies were given by the Front Desk but it did nothing to get our lost sleep back. The local police should have been called. Les mer

Stayed here for one night on a road trip for spring break with two children. Staff were really friendly. I asked for an upgrade to a suite and told that I was willing to pay the extra cost. They upgraded me to a suite free of cost. They are more concerned about my families comfort than their bottom line. Location was nice. Close to restaurants. Breakfast […] was good.
