Hadde en natt på reise til Boston og valgte et litt bedre hotel for oppholdet i området. Dette var et meget flott 4 stjerners hotell som føltes som 5. Fra det at vi kom til hotellet i taxi så fikk vi den flotte behandlingen. Luksusfølelse hele tiden med super proff og hyggelig personell på arbeid. Fikk god hjelp med bykart, tips og råd, veksling av penger og bagasjehjelp inn og ut. Stort flott rom med superflott bad og kjempegod seng. Vi burte ha vart her flere dager men kommer sikkert tilbake for litt mer "luksus" i hverdagen.

Hotellet ligger rolig til i den litt bedre bydelen. I nærheten er det mange merkeklær butikker av den dyre typen. Det er noen minutter å gå til barer og uteliv, men bl.a. Cheers ligger nærme. Hotellet kan oppleves som litt "stuck up" for dem som har noe mer penger enn folk flest, men hotellet er pent & rent og har en god service. Ekstrakostnad for wifi er minus, samt at undertegnede ikke liker å bli stående i en defekt heis... Bra "posh" hotell.

"The Inn in Framingham"
The outdoor apearence of the hotel was fine. But the day we checked into the Inn it was a warm day in March (about 74 degrees F) and the room felt like it was almost 95 degrees. There were stains on the bed comforter and the wall looked like it had been wiped down with a Mr. Clean magic eraser because all the paint was faded. Everything was manageable as per low rate but internet service never works in this type of hotel/motel. When we complain for it, they give execuses but real thing is that they disconnect the router and thus save some money.

"The Monticello Motel - Framingham MA"
Though the building was old and tired (room door stuck, old bathroom, loud flushing, hot water was a long wait, old but working A/C) it was clean and we enjoyed good service. Newer carpets, fairly comfy beds, fresh paint. Can't complain too much. For the price it was nearby our destination and we felt secure. Staff was pleasant and prompt.
"ATROCIOUS! JUST RENT A CAR AND SLEEP IN IT!"
This motel is by far the worst I've ever witnessed. I feared for my life. There were 40 torn out bathroom sinks on the lawn, next to a snow plow and dumpster. It looked like a graveyard. There were bed bugs in my bed. I have been scratching bites for 4 days now. It smelled like a corpse and bleach in my room. I checked out after 6 hours and slept in […] the car. "worst experience"
i have stayed at all kinds from best to bad, now i can change that to the worst. it took 3 times to get a room that had minimal issues. the first room, the rug under a/c was soaked, wet rug at bathroom entrance. the manager told me just put a towel over it..the second room had a damaged back window that would not close or lock,NG. the last room was […] itself not bad but the door locks had no plates in frame making entry possible without key and that was the lesser of 3 evils. i would never reccomend it to my worst enemy. unfortunately i am not exagerating. "monticello motel"
Decent room, linens were clean, new air conditioner. Bathroom was clean, but VERY dated. There were a few ants in the room. Staff was very nice and lobby was very nice. Thought it was decent for the price.

It is a very very terrible experience to stay in this motel. We reserved two rooms, but when we opened one room at night. We found a man was inside of that room!!! Never take this motel!!!

"Hideous"
I desperately needed a place to stay close to Boston and booked this at this last minute! I never usually book without checking reviews first but didn't have time on this occasion. Oh, how I wish I had. Do not stay here the rooms smell hideous!! Look like some 1950's throwback and I felt like the bed was crawling. Needless to say I was up and checked […] out very early. But the worst thing were the long term 'guests' walking up and down all night yelling and shouting, just awful. I swear one room housed an entire family. I've done my fair share of traveling over the years and stayed in some questionable establishments but this has got to be among the worst I've ever experienced!! Les mer

"Cheap and relatively close to Boston."
I stayed here for two nights. I had a job interview in Boston, and this was the cheapest place I could find. My room was clean and comfortable, though the furnishings were a little worn. The bathroom was adequate, but lacked a tub, and the sinks were very old (but clean).
"Good for the price"
It is a conveniently located hotel. The draw back is the room did not smell fresh at all. Bathroom sink had no water pressure and the body towels had stains on it. It is a very quiet location, surrounded by many shops and restaurant and close to main expressways. For the money and respect the owners have towards guests privacy I will recomend it. Stay away!!!! When we first arrived, I had to play 20 questions with a drunk guy about what I did for a living. The rooms are ok and the hotel was doable. Then a drunk/high woman kept walking around all night bothering guests by trying to bum money and cigarettes

A filthy moldy flea bag with a nasty staff. Sleep in your car... or on the street. But if you have no alternative on a below zero night, sleep with one eye open. This is the kind of slovenly dump that might end up stealing YOUR towels.

This hotel was fine for the price and location. We did not get the Continental Breakfast as promised. In fact, we could not even get milk or artificial sweetner for the coffee we brewed in our room. First of all, there was supposed to be a continental breakfast, but there was none.(Would not of eaten it if there was one.) Room was dirty and dusty. Writing on the walls from former "guests." Dirty fingerprints on light switches and doors and walls. Coffee pot did not work, alarm clock did not work and remote control for t.v. did not work. Bathroom […] was very out-dated. Pink dirty tiles on walls, pink, dirty sink and faucets would not shut all the way off. Pink ,mildew, dirty stand up shower. Pink, dirty toilet with finish worn off toilet seat. Heat would not shut off and AC was hardly working because unit was a antique. Leaving my suitcases outside for a couple of days and washing EVERYTHING IN VERY HOT WATER. Have told people who asked us where we were staying during our thank goodness one night stay, in the Boston area, NOT TO GO THERE. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS "MOTEL" AT ALL. If you do go , take antibacterial cleaner, toilet seat covers, lysol spray, your own bedding.......make things simple - book a different motel or hotel or inn. Les mer
"Just a bed"
The bed was comfortable. The room was fairly clean. The TV worked. There was almost no water coming out of the bathroom faucet and hot water never came out of that faucet. There is no continental breakfast, just a 4 cup coffee pot in the room. If you just need a bed for one night, this is a good place for a good price.

The room was perfectly serviceable. Some of the furniture was scuffed, but that was fine. Most of the staff had an unfriendly attitude, though one was much cheerier and gave a nice smile.

Evidently this place had chanced hands. Very dirty. Many things not working properly. One party complained while we were checking in that when they walked into their room there were condoms on the floor. Another party complained the towels hanging up were dirty/used. Big sign saying no refunds. They allowed dogs, but refused to let a lady with a seeing […] eye dog stay unless she paid an additional fee. Great location for what we wanted. But that was it! Les mer

I would recommend this hotel purely for the hotel staff and the location. The staff was courteous and helpful but the hotel is pretty old and it needs renovations.. Bathroom was in a bad shape. Bed, Quilt & Linens looked pretty old..
On the internet Monticello is called an Inn. It is a motel, and a bad one at that. Holes in sheets, musty smelling room, circular water marks on wall, cracked tiles in shower, rusty tissue box on wall in bathroom, pink ring stains on vanity sink in bathroom. Not recommended!

close to everything.mainly yhe highway,but it looked like the ghetto. people outside hanging around looked like gang members . You could tell people mlive there by the week or month. 1 person had a garden.The girle walking around were most likely hookers. i thought my truck wass going to get broken into. Don't stay here. Our room was dirty and smelly. The hotel is very old and not kept up. The check-in person was rude. He was very unsympathetic to our complaints about the room. There was an old stove in the room! We slept in our car rather than stay here.

"Good place to stay at a bargain price"
The Monticello Inn is not a five star hotel, but for $57/night special, it had everything we needed. The staff is friendly, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the wireless internet was wonderful. The rooms were clean and well maintained. The only thing that was frustrating is that it took two pairs of hands to wash my face in the bathroom sink, since […] the water doesn't stay on by itself (you have to hold both the hot and the cold at the same time, the water turns off automatically). Ce môtel est très bien en général. Le déjeuner n'était toutefois pas inclus finalement à cause d'un problème temporaire. Le Wi-Fi fonctionnait de peine et misère, mais il était possible de s'en sortir avec de la patience. La chambre était très propre et le lit comfortable.
