Pene, rene og svært romslige rom med det meste av fasiliteter. Hotellet nytt og fint. Fin beliggenhet nær stranden, men litt stille på vinterstid. Forkosten var typisk amerikansk og ikke spesielt sunn. Alt i alt fornøyd med oppholdet!

We were surprised how nice it was inside the first night. But were disappointed when we came back to the room the 2nd night because they never came in to clean the room, make the beds or give us clean towels. It was exactly the same as we had left it. Continental breakfast just consisted of cereal and some pastries. But for the price, it was nice but […] would have been better to come back to a clean room after being at the beach all day. Les mer

Could hear neighboring rooms (especially above us) most of the night. Not a restful sleep. Plus there was a cigarette burn mark on the floor, in our "supposed" non-smoking room.

"Worst hotel ever"
This hotel was a nightmare. Dirty, burnhole in the blanket, filthy walkway frost, broken drapes, bare bulbs in the bathroom (2 out of 3 worked). Worst place ever.

Really bad experience, bathrooms are old and dutttty , really noysy during the night with people uptairs showering or using the bathroom , felt like they were in my room . could not sleep at all. Expensive for the price i paid but very cheap hotel maybe motel 6 is even better that this hotel.

"Wish I hadn't stayed here"
This hotel has very uncomfortable matresses and the option of using either VERY thin or lumpy pillows. The continental breakfast was minimal at best. I won't stay in this hotel again even if it was the only option (for us it was), I would rather choose another weekend. We didn't stay long enough to even take a shower, we just wanted out of there! "Generally poor quality hotel"
Holes in bathroom wall and in ceiling - stuffed with paper rather than repaired. No bath towels included, had to ask for towels. Beds like 2x4s. I defininately will never stay here again.

This was the most expensive hotel booked for my entire trip in California. It was also the worst experience for that trip. Our room had to be changed first thing because the one we were given smelled awful. There was no fridge and just a very tiny microwave. The beds were so hard it was like sleeping on a large brick.

We arrived at the Hotel and checked in, was informed that the door to our room was having a issue, when I tried opening the door it did not work, hotel clerk tried and did not work, so back to the office were I was then given another room, when I went to the room, it had not been made up, trash and bottles were laying around, went back to the front […] desk and informed the clerk, She then again gave me another room, when I went to the room it was in the final stages of getting it ready. I had to wait 10 minuetes before I could enter the room. What an exeperience. My wife said to make sure we never stay at a Rodeway Inn. Les mer
"OK for a night"
OK if you are desperate for a night. Reception is by bell and a grumpy man comes out. The "continental breakfast" is weak coffee and disgusting mini muffins. I'm not sure what continent these are supposed to be from . The room smells of air freshener to the point that you suspect it's covering something up. I found SLO very expensive and for some reason […] there aren't a lot of pools. I'd plan ahead if possible and find something better. "OK- as a last resort"
Great location. You are 5 mins from downtown SLO via car and adjacent to the the Highway 101 exit/entrance. Bed & Bathroom were clean enough & passable for a last-minute one-night stay. Rate was the cheapest available at the time for the SLO area but the same cost would have gotten a lot more at other locales. Cobwebs in unused areas and the decor could […] have used updating as well as the walls, doors, etc. could benefit from a fresh coast of paint. "Less than what I paid for"
It is an inexpensive hotel, right on the highway, convenient if you need a bed for the night. However, upon arrival, there were no towels in our room. I asked and received some from the front desk. When I got back the second night from the day's activities, I found that housekeeping had taken the towels and left me only a washcloth for my second night's […] stay. On the morning I was to check out, I slept late, and was awakened by housekeeping banging on the door. When I opened the door, I literally got yelled at by housekeeping. In a raised voice - waving her watch at me - she told me I was half hour late (11:30am) and that I had to leave NOW or book the room for another night. I was so shocked that I threw everything into my bag and walked to my car in my pajamas. I thoroughly understand that I was late, though I thought check out time was noon, but a simple request or reminder to leave would have been sufficient. The staff was friendly, Close to shopping, food, etc. No coffee in the room though. For the price it was place to sleep when visiting the area.
Never again, I could not sleep the walls are thin and i could hear the people above me. Those tenants didn't stop talking until 4:30am. And I needed to awake up at 5:00am. I'm glad we stayed only one night.

The location was excellent... central to shopping, food and entertainment... some drawbacks were the proximity to the freeway and the fact that the ceiling and walls seemed to let all sounds through and were paper thin. The bath towels weren't great as well. Scratchy and chemical smells.

"very cheap but quite dirty"
We stayed at this hotel one night on our way to Big Sur. We got it for very cheap rate on thanksgiving day. It worked out fine for a night. Everything in the room was functioning - TV, fridge, microwave, heater, hot shower. But the carpets in the hotel, both in the room and in the corridors was FILTHY to say the least. "Perfect motel for one night stay"
Upon arriving at 2am the front desk worker/owner was very nice & friendly eventhough we woke him so early. Check-in was fast & easy. Rooms are run down but clean enough. Don't expect glamour here, but they do make the effort because they have replaced the carpet, so it appears clean and beds seem fine. It's cheap and it appears cheap, but it's ok. They made the effort to update the bathroom with tile, but it looks like a bad tile job and it's very minimal. If you need a place to stay for one or two nights, this Rodeway Inn will do. They seem to be in the process of fixing, re-doing, modernizing the whole facility. The beds weren't real comfortable, yet our room was quiet and we slept well. The location is hard to beat and the staff was very friendly and helpful.

This motel is not 2 star worthy. The most positive thing I can say is the bed was very firm. I understand older and in need of refreshing, but not dirty. The room appears to receive basic vacuuming and sheet changing, however, there is no effort to clean dust from wall sills, from the A/C plug and the bathroom fan. Also, no attempt to wipe down dirt […] marks on wall or some dried something on the ceiling. Hotel is very close to the freeway and therefor noisy. Room was clean but furniture was crowded into the room. There was a large wet spot on the carpet. Beds were not very comfortable. Pillows were very small and flat.

Convenient location. Hotel seems pretty out dated, but good value for what you pay. Good food options including breakfast accross the street.
